Rich stood back and let the pony do his thing. He wondered why he was helping them. Maybe he owed them a favor, maybe they'd gotten him some supplies or got him out of trouble in the past or something. He was curious, but he didn't feel like interrupting the locksmith.

You wait for a while, and eventually a small click indicates the lock being opened.

"There, it's all yours." The locksmiths shuffles out of the cell just as he had come in.

You all gather around and open the small lockbox; inside is beyond your greatest imagination: It's a map. Upon examination, you see it's for something big, something HUGE, and it's been heavily detailed.

What do you do?

Church flinches and backs off, leaving Cross Stitch. That could have gone better.... He thought for sure he would have been able to calm her down but she... She's off of her rocker. He then walks back into the yard. He puts his hoof above his eyes to shade the sun and scans the crowd for any promising ponies who may have the skills to help him.

You don't see much; then again you don't know many ponies... what a shame... You see Red, maybe he could help you. I mean, he IS sort of big deal in the Yard and a few different gangs.

You walk up to him and practice what you're going to ask before hand; you make a mental note to help ponies in the future, don't want to have a repeat of Cross Stitch.

Jacob got up from his bed and stopped Power Fly for a moment. "Power Fly you saved my life. Thank you. We're gonna meet again and we'll get out of this prison. so be careful." Jacob walked back in his cell and took a moment to think, he was trying to think about what happened.(Who were those 5 stallions, did the warden send them, or did he try to help me, by warning me that Power Fly was in danger? How come i wasnt killed? Could... Power Fly have killed them all?) His mind flashed back to when she wrote: They said I was born to be a new kind of 'being', a being of energy and flesh, a being capable of doing terrible things. Jacob was shocked that she might have taken on 5 stallions and won without even having a scratch. "It would explain how im still alive" Jacob now wanted to do some trading. He saw that Power Fly also brought back his equipment and left the the broken plasma shield wich he gave her earlier. He spoke to himself "I wonder did you manage to fix it?" Jacob put on his scarecrow mask, took all his equipment then headed for the yard, he wanted to see if he could find Red now, so he could finally trade items. He walked into the yard and saw him with another pony, it was Church. Jacob had no clue that Church was trying to find him earlier and that he knew about the scarecrow mask. He walked up to them and interrupted. "Hello, mister Red, im sorry if im interrupting but i would like to do some trading."

Church was about to ask Red if he knew any pony before he was rudely interrupted by some random pony. He was about to turn his glance to tell him off when Church noticed the mask and the cape. It perfectly matched the description left by Cross Stitch and other ponies. As fast as Church could he swept out Jacob's legs and pinned him to the ground, Church's hoof on his jugular. "This is the colt Red. The convict who caused the fire in the cell block."

Jacob didnt stand a chance agaisnt Church with his injuries from earlier, even if Power Fly bandaged him up he felt the pain. Jacob coughed as Church had his hoof on his neck. "I just came here to talk and do some trading. I take it that the fire somehow inconvenienced you, im sure that we can come to some sort of arrangement, I have alot to offer. Just tell your friend to get the hell off me already."

*Red will remember your agressive attitude.

"Get off of him." Red pulls you off of the convict that burnt the cell down. "He's not worth it, and we've got more important things to deal with."

You step off Red gets really close to his face. "Leave. Now."

The convict runs off, leaving you and Red to your business.

"Is this of the prison? I would have thought it wouldn't have been efficient to draw such a detailed map, as things keep changing." Rich looked for a title or some writing to identify it. He picked it up and checked all sides. "Well, let's take it back to whoever's cell is the closest and have a closer look."

You all head to Ironside's cell; when you inspect it you find out it's a map leading to The Vault. The Vault is legend, a place where all of the stolen property and weapons of the convicts were taken here. If you could get inside, just imagine the riches you would have in store.

The map itself is particularly odd; it has a number of numbers scribbled around it. It would have to take some kind of genius to unscramble this mish-mash of numbers.

Church watches as the convict runs off. He turns back to Red. "I'm sorry you had to see that but I put an entire days work and time into tracking that guy and I wasn't going to let him go easily. I hope you understand why I did that. Now back to business. I've examined the... substance and it is extremely unique. It appears to be living... but almost acts as if a computer program. Not not program... a virus. My examination was only able to take me so far though. Do you happen to know another convict who is trained in either hacking or biology?"

He scratches his chin for a moment. "Hm... I think I might no a guy who knows a bit about computers, if that's what you need. He's in a bit of a bind with some debtors, so helping him out might not be a bad idea."

After Cross-Stitch, that might not be so bad.

What do you do?

(If you except, his name is 'Point n' Click.)

"Well, a load of good that does us in here. Even if we sell it, we wouldn't get a decent price. I wonder where he got it from in the first place. Do you mind keeping it in here, Ironsides?"

Rich thought for a while. Although the map was useless, the numbers may be unconnected to it. If you want to keep some information from being destroyed, putting it on something else not valuable but indisposable would make sense.

"We should at least try and find out what these numbers mean,"

Jacob ran away. "Damn it, at least he didnt see my face. That didnt go as i planned, but that dosn't matter, there are still lots of ponies to trade with." Jacob was still a little disapointed that Red didnt want to do busyness with him. He walked up to other traders and asked "Were can i find someone to get a good grade gun?"

"Yeah; but could you guys leave a while, I have a... er... 'friend' I'm meeting with." Ironsides looks pretty nervous.

This is... suspicious to say the least. You consider asking him, but maybe prying too much into his life would be detrimental to your relation with him.

A number of ponies try to haggle you to see their wears, but none of them have anything worth while. Eventually, one of the shadier ponies gives you a crooked grin.

"I've got what you need, and more. If you follow me, you'll see weapons you've never thought possible." His voice is very raspy.

This guy seems... untrustworthy, but the offer is pretty tantalizing.

Church nods. "Of course. I could use all of the help I can get so I might as well return the favour to other convicts... If it means figuring this stuff out." Church turns and heads for the pony Red had defined. He approaches. "Hello. Are you the convict known as Point n' Click?"

He sniffs and flicks a cigarette out his mouth. "Depends who's asking."

This guy is... disgusting. He has a sickly yellow coat and a greasy black mane that stinks of cigarette smoke. How this guy could be a computer whiz is beyond your imagination.

"A 'friend?' He better not be the break your legs for not paying your debts kind. I don't want to have to play nurse for you." Rich smile left him. "You're not really in trouble, are you? I don't want to pry, but if you need help, I'll do what I can." Rich smiled slightly. "Or maybe you're just organizing my surprise birthday party."

*You showed concern for Ironsides' "friend"

"No, now get out." Ironsides is pretty rushed about this; but before you can question him further, he pushes you out of his cell.

Well, whatever is bothering him, he REALLY wants to keep it secret. Maybe you should just drop it... or maybe this could be somthing that'd really hurt the mission.

"Alright, I trust you." Rich left the cell and had a quick look around to see anyone who was waiting to come in and then left with Deadeye. "Any idea what that was about?" Rich asked Deadeye when they had gotten out of sight. "You think something's wrong, or has he just got a hot date?"

He shrugs. "Who knows; as far as I'm concerned, they both mean the same thing here."

It takes you a moment to get the joke. Well now that he's gone, and now that you have a map that you can't read, you'll need to find a way to decipher these strange numbers.

Jacob thought about it for a moment and decided not to go with him. He thought it would be to dangerous with all his stuff with him. "I'll tell you what i want and you can bring it back here, im looking for an assassin's grade handgun." Jacob wanted to stay in the safety of the yard.

"It's either you come with me, or no deal. I'm not willing to shake my wears around for the public just like that." He seems very upset.

It appears he's very upset about this; it's either follow him or nothing. Who knows what's he got in reality, it oculd just be a great scam.

What do you do?

(If you say no, just write in that he walks into the shadows.)

"I guess Red would be as good a place as any." Rich said to himself. Rich walked back over to where Red was. "Got any jobs that need doing, cause I could do with a favor. We found something in our fallen comrade's cell and I was hoping to get it checked out by an expert."

He stares intensely at the map for a moment. "I think I know a guy- real strange fella- I could get him for ya', if you're willing to scratch my back, that is."

Well, he hasn't done you wrong so far; except for when Crimson died...

Nevertheless, this could be a major moment for you, you don't want it to got to waste.

"Well, it this thing leads burred treasure, I think I could split it with you." Rich joked. "Seriously though, what do you have in mind?" Rich hoped he wasn't going to ask for the others to join in, he didn't want to be accused of trying to replace Crimson in leadership of the group.
