My first ever vectorthingie! WIP!

Hello there!

Thought i'd share the progress on my WIP Vector.

 

 

 

Image I'm vectoring:

 

Process so far finished rough coloring, seeing the end of the tunnel now.

 

 

 

 

My next plan on it is to work on the hair outline and do some touching up on the face area. Then I'm planning to attempt some coloring.

Everything you see is done in SAI.

That's caused by the image i'm using. it's a strange screencap I took of FS earlier this year. I updated the original post with the image.

 

Update! I just finished rough coloring. Looks alot better now I think.

Looks good except some of the lines are straight between points. What tool did you use, if I may ask? In Photoshop you use the pen tool, which creates bezier curves, to make vectors, but I don't know if Sai has that.

I used SAI for everything you see on the pic. I have convertyed the vector and imported it into Adobe Illustrator to finish up the lines as suggested. So expect improvement if I manage to figure Illustrator out, I feel like a monkey using a typewriter when I use it.

I just found a nice tool in SAI to even out vector lines, you go into edit and choose Pointed/Rounded at the bottom of the list. And thanks Pondus30
