Farewell Luna

Something that I created inspired off of Ponyphonic's new song,

. (which I have not been able to stop listening to)

 

In the midst of the raging spell of the Elements of Harmony to banish Nightmare Moon, Celestia sees Luna and realizes in that brief fleeting moment, that it must be her duty to spend the next thousand years preparing, and to find the next bearers to save her sister when she returns.

 

Hope you enjoy. Not much inspires me to this degree, so it's a rare occurrence. I'm happy with the results though...

Nice job. but one question. I kinda think that Celestia's reaction is a bit too much, especially during the Element Blast... Or the Orbital Friendship beam!!!!

I really like the choice of colours and the way they're drawn. Instead of making it look like a simple background, it looks like the colours are part of some conflict, which can be obviously seen in the picture.

 

I also love the contrast of Nightmare Moon and Celestia, and then Woona crying in the background. Brilliant.

Hey guys, Brisineo has been listening to this song over and OVER again! The lullaby that inspired him to do this is pretty amazing, and I wouldn't doubt if this made it into EQD!
