How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: I became aware of the fanbase through some of my favourite internet reviewers and youtube commentators.

Greeting and salutations!

 

I'm actually a recent convert to MLP FIM, i decided to take a peek one day and then i got hooked.

 

About me:

-I'm a trading card collector, specializing in Pokemon and yu-gi-oh, please do ask about my HUGE collection.

-I speak french fluently

-I work with toys as my job

-Academically i major in ancient history and WW2

 

Stuff i like:

-Cats

-pokemon

-star wars

-animation and cartoons: my favourite titles include 90"s x-men, gargoyles, batman TAS, justice league, 90's spiderman, avatar the last airbender, gundam wing and or coarse MLP FIM

-Bicycling

-swimming

-gummy candies (the closest thing to an inner-pinkie pie)

-Italian cuisine

-Any potato-related dish

-superheroes

-power rangers (Blue mighty morphin, Titanium,red lightspeed,green dragonzord are some of my favourite rangers)

-old video games from the 90's (especially the PS1)

-WoW

-pro-wrestling

 

As for a hobby i'm an amateur prop-builder. I build cosplay weapons, mostly swords.

I do have magic cards, i started collecting when i started college since they were much cheaper at the student store. You should have seen me at the counter: WHAT? NO POKEMON CARDS????!!! Unfortunately it din't go anywhere and now they're just collecting dust. So yes technically i do collect magic.

 

WW2 is a pretty fascinating era though it requires a lot of maturity.

 

I am definitely looking forward to talking with friendly people.

Had mine stolen in the past bro, i feel your pain on that one. If you want to know last time i counted this summer i had 1500+ cards in my pokemon binders binders. I keep 1 example of each different pokemon card i own. My yu-gi-oh collection is somewhat less organized, my commons are in a purple lego tub, while my rares are in a binder. Surprisingly there weren't as many rares as i had imagined all those years.

How far back does my collection go? Well that's the million dollar question. The short answer: "over a decade", the long answer: my originals were stolen and sold behind my back by my younger brother when i was a freshman in HS, i started recollecting shortly afterwards however those where mostly the 2001 collection, then base set Ruby/saphire, started again in 2004/2006, the bulk of my collection is from 2007-(now) since by that time i had my job.

 

So yeah lots of heartgold/soulsilver.

I find the American civil war period isn't a very popular period of history outside the United States. Just sayin'!

Aye, but i'm not a big fan of anicent history so eh! I can still give my fair share of info about WW2 you know, just most of my knowledge is dedicated to the war 'tween the states!

Yeah it was time to quit anyway xD what bugs me is my Pokemon games getting stolen (along with 3 DS and a DSi. You can't get back 300 hours per game.
