Artemisia laughed, "Oh really? I doubt that there is much magic in me." she blushed when he pecked her cheek. She shook her head. "Don't doubt my decisions!" She said jokingly and laughed. "Come on." when they reached the next split she turned left and at the end she could see a fountain. 'Not a dead end obviously."

"Every unicorn has a large reserve of magic, just often they can't locate it within their psyche. I bet I could help you find it." He told her. He spotted the fountain, "Huh, don't recall seeing that before....."

Red picked up Artemisia, "You look tired," he said with a wink, "how about you just tell me which way to go form now on ?"

Artemisia laughed as he picked her up "Really Red, I am fine, you can put me down if you want." She giggled, "Do you want to stay a while and sit down by the fountain or keep going, what time is your next set? What time is it anyways?" suddenly she realized she had forgotten that there was still the rest of the Hearts and Hooves social.

Red chuckled, "I'm done for the night, but thank you for the kind gesture."

So sweet and considerate!

Red set her down next to the fountain, "We can stop here for a while if you want," he said, "Or I can send us right back to the Gala. Which ever one you want is what I want!" He winked.

Sugar Rush giggled at SolarWind's questions, she looked at the other two ponies calmly "I wouldn't know much about that" she turned her head a bit away "I've never had a special somepony, but I still got my hopes up" she said smiling at the night sky. "I mean, I got to find somepony at somepoint, right?" she asked herself in a slightly worried tone, before she smiled again, and blushed slightly as she looked back at SolarWind.

SolarWind laughed again and said calmly. "Yeah, sometime or the other I guess we both will, who knows when, but eventually..."He

trailed off and looked at Sugar Rush smiling. "You know I came here tonight for free food. I never expectd to meet someone as cool as you, not here." He looked back around the canterlot garden and thought about who had the time to sculpt and craft all these bushes.

"Oh, well..." she said as she lost eye contact with him to look at the sky, just before returning her glance at him and smiling "....I guess I could say the same about you" she said her tone had changed from her nervous self, to more calmed and relaxed. "I wasn't really expecting to meet anypony so awes-....um.. new" she said, swapping her words in the last minute, and her small blush grew. She could feel a shiver run up her spine, she tried to ignore it as she gazed at the gardens. Come on, you gotta be careful, you don't want to mess this up.... she thought to herself, thinking of a worst case scenario in where she'd burst out something embarresing.

Solarwind smiled at Pinkazoid and decided she was one of the coolest people he had ever met.

"Hey I know this might be a bit soon but well... After this nights over I kinda wanted to keep in touch and stuff...."

His voice trailed off and he felt his cheeks go red. He was choking, not knowing what to say next so he stood there silently staring blankly into nothing.

*Oh sweet Celestia..... he is so adora-* she cut her thoughts thoughts short as she shook her head."Keep in touch?" She asked tapping a hoof on her chin, before. "You are a pretty nice pony, I'd like to keep in touch too...." she said smiling nervously at him. "It'd be a shame if I never saw you again...."

SolarWind didn't know what to say. He didn't want to be pushy but he didn't want to be unresponsive. He decided he had to ask his brain what to do!

 

"Brain."

 

"mmm?"

 

"What do I say!? Help me!?

 

"Hmmm?"

 

"Come on brain!"

 

"Mhm..."

 

"Well?"

 

"...Mmmrm?"

 

Solarwind almost kicked himself, his brain wasn't working and he didn't know what to say he decided to say the first thing that popped into his head. "Run." Okay the second thing that popped into his head. "Tell her shes pretty!" Solarwind thought this would work a bit better and decided to try it. "Umm I think your pretty and I kinda wanted to keep in touch after the gala..."

He decided that sounded lame but he couldn't take it back now.
