It's finally here!

In the center of reality, lies a massive arena. Beings from all over the multiverse come to battle to the death, most of the times against their own will.

 

At the crack of dawn, the terrain of the arena shifts and new horrors are placed within.

 

This year's battle has five competitors at the beginning. 

 

(Possibly the most dangerous part.)

 

Their names are : Simon, Deoxys, Zer0, Chaos Breaker and The Rake.

 

They now sit in a lobby, they have time to make alliances and choose their weapon and survival tool.

The Rake sat in the corner of the metal room the other competitors were in. He eyed them, hatred burning inside him.

 

Just a moment ago, he had been told that he would have to battle to the death with the creatures that stood before him.

Would he make an alliance? No, no he wouldn't. He couldn't trust anyone.

 

Which weapon would he bring into the arena? He didn't need any. He was his own weapon.

 

But... The announcer did say that everyone's natural powers would be decreased at the beginning...

Perhaps he would bring in a sword just in case.

 

As for his survival tool... Meat. The rake easily grew hungry.

After pondering on what else he would bring, The Rake started thinking of strategies.

Zer0 entered the the metal room and looked around at the competitors he faced.

He silently mumbled a haiku about how unimpressed he was with his challengers and sat down displaying "B0R3D" on his helmet.

He then started to play around around with his katana.

Simon stood in the darkest part of the room, looking at the different competitors then to his scythe, then back again.

as he looked around at the different competitors, he analyzed them to a atom, the way they stood or sat, how big or small they where, and overall... how likely it would be they die. Simon analyzed and thought the solider looking competitor would make the best alliance member, silently walking to Zer0 he put his hand forward towards Zer0 in a handshake, his face blank, still analyzing.

Zer0 looked up at the human and replied to the handshake in a haiku, "You are my new challenge? / Unimpressed I am. / Lies of challenge were given." He then got up and calmly opened his hand so it so his hand was flat and motioned them towards Simons, as to shake hands with him.

Simon Started a dry look at Zer0 then laughed a small dry laugh "as was i my big friend, and remember, don't judge a book by its cover." simon gave with a small smile, teeth as sharp as knifes showed from his mouth, some of them covered in blood, Simon grabbed Zer0's hand and gave him a strong handshake, strong enough that it would have shattered a normal beings hand to dust. Simon then sat next to the solider looking figure, "names Simon by the way."

When Simon contacted Zer0, he faded away as a hologram and appeared behind Simon, whispering "Boo" into his ear with a spine chilling voice. He then went to actually shake hands with Simon, sheathing his katana.

"ah scary do you think you are? well two can play that game" casting a simple spell a cloud of darkness formed on the inside of Zer0's mask leaving him blind for a few seconds, when the cloud went away Zer0 noticed that Simon was no where around. "i never liked masks to constricting." simon was hanging above Zer0 his scythe only inches from Zer0's neck, then quickly dropping back to the floor he put away his scythe and sat back down again, throughly amused for the day, "your still have not told me your name sir."

Zer0's mask displayed "WTF BRO" while he cleaned his visor. He then replied to Simons questions by displaying a zero on his visor. He then went back to his corner and played around with Decepti0n and his katana, making a hologram then performing moves to stab it.

"well Zer0, looks like we will be sticking together." Simon went back to Zer0 and sat next to him, he then sat down and closed his eyes, his chest then started glowing different and strange colors all in a heart shape, he started meditating and a few seconds later the colors went a away.

"We are allies in this fight? / I was not notified / We are taking teams?" Zer0 questioned, aiming to be fighting by himself so the challenge was magnified to it's highest difficulty. He then started to question who if, he was to make teammates, he would Allie with.

"why yes sir. you did not know we could pick allies? well i have analyzed every person here sir and my thoughts are you and i would make the best team, and at the end we could see who is strongest." Simon said happily, he then looked at Zer0 for a few seconds, he then took out his scythe and started sharpening it with a weird glowing rock.

Chaos Breaker crashed landed... where? A interdimesional pocket. Great. Oh, well. He looked at his list... kill five interdimensional beings, find all his soul gems, assume ultimate form, and then leave this dimension. Oh, well. If a pony had stumbled here, he hoped he wouldn't have to kill him... worst case senario, he would have to...

 

He stood up. Five of his soul gems hovered around him. The other two were someplace in the area... he hoped that no one else grabbed them...

A voice spoke on the loudspeaker in the metal room. "Attention combatants, the arena will soon be opened. In nine minutes you will be taken there. Then there will be a one minute countdown. Good luck"

"We working together Zer0? Because I think it would be better if we did, more chance of survival, you know?" Simon stood up and put the glowing rock in his pocket, he rose his scythe in front of him and the blade glew red and green, before fading out. "I don't know about you, but i'm ready, let the game begin!"

"I think I shall take this challenge alone." He replied. He quickly spotted and ran towards the woods nearby, wanting to get the advantage from a forest's stealth capabilities and survival items output. He used Decepti0n to make sure nobody would follow him.

Striker waited a few seconds then went in the same direction of Zer0, he knew that Zer0 had a scanner on him that could tell if someone was following him, why else would he sit right next to the person who was supposed to kill him? as he entered the forested area he cast a small spell on his close so they would match the terrain no matter where he was, then he cast a spell on himself so that any sensor waves would pick him up as a tree, then using knowledge of the forest, he was born in one anyhow, he climbed up a tree and then pursued Zer0 from the branches, but he was not going to fight him, at least... not yet.

(We aren't in the arena yet... Well, now we are. Just pretend the two posts above me happened after I posted this)

 

"THE FOUR MINUTES ARE OVER, ALL BEGINNING COMBATANTS WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO THE ARENA!" the announcer yelled out from the loudspeaker.

 

The Rake felt a tingling feeling inside of him, as he was transported to the arena. He tried to move but he was frozen in place. He looked around him and saw the others a couple of yards away from him.

 

"You will all not be able to move until the count down is finished" the announcer said. "Count down begins... Now"

 

"Sixty... Fifty-Nine..."

 

A sword suddenly appeared in the Rake's hand. It was the weapon he chose. The other combatants had their chosen weapons as well.

 

"Twenty-Four..."

 

The Rake looked for a area he would go to... Perhaps the south? He could smell meat there.

 

"Ten... Nine... Eight..."

 

A chill ran down the Rake's spine and he prepared to run to the south.

 

"Five... Four... Three... Two... One..."

 

"GO!"

 

The Rake started running at full speed towards the south, not paying attention to the other combatants at the moment.

 

The games have begun.

[That One Techpriest You Used To Know 2,286]

Chaos Breaker warped to the top of the mountian, and began searching for his Soul Gems. He needed all seven of them to escape this demonic prison. He looked... and there! One of the two he was missing... he smiled. This might turn out well, anyways.

 

He warped... but found he could only warp to the edge of the forest. Hmm...

On foot then...

Simon took out the glowing rock from his pocket and stared at it while he was running towards Zer0, there was something alive about it, something he liked, but he did not know it was one of Chaos'es soul gems, he thought it was a cool glowing rock that made a great sharpening stone, he wondered what would happen if he put some of his magic through the rock, he tried and the rock actually denied his magic to go through, "thats never happened before, i am able to warp any material with my magic." Simon put the stone back in his pocket.

After twenty minutes of running, The Rake came to a clearing, in the clearing was a large lake.

 

"Hmm... Maybe I should stay here until tomorrow." he thought to himself "There's water, places to hide, and plenty of deer around here"

 

He paced around for a bit longer, then spotted a deer. He pounced on it, and easily ripped it in half. "I thought my power would be decreased at the beginning... Maybe this only happens when I am facing another combatant..."

 

(You can use your full natural power against wild animals)

 

After devouring the deer, the rake looked at the sky. "It's almost night time... I'll find some shelter"

Kaldr was already out and about, not worried much about hunting, more around staying hidden and laying traps. The game states that you must eat (?) something to keep you sustained. Since Kaldr was made of ice, he stuck to freezing ponds and absorbing the ice to make him stronger and keep him fed.

He used some of the ice to lay traps, mostly around where animals grazed, so if anyone went hunting near there they would set it off.

He went for the mountains first, it was colder up there and usually more places to hide. He set up a small wall of ice in a cave he found to block off anyone that wanted in, it would hold for a while. There was a small steady stream of water running along the bottom of it, heading towards the exit. The cave would be too small to fit a bear, but luckily Kaldr was only a quarter the size of a bear.

Zer0 ran on, as he turned on Decepti0n for the 10th time in an effort to try to get everyone off his trail, he noticed a human following him from behind. For whatever reason though, Decepti0n picked him up as a jumping tree. "Hah, Nice trick Mr. Simon, now please leave my presence." He noticed a bird flying through the air and put a ">" emote on his visor, he continually jumped towards bird, as if he was infinitely double jumping, making a fast escape.

Simon stopped chasing Zer0 because he saw a deer run by, Simon looked at the deer for a few seconds then stood up tall on the branch he was on, a blur of movement went from the branch to the deer, so fast the deer never knew it died. A few minutes later simon had cut slices of the deer and had cooked it from the fire he produced from his magic controlling the flame and heat so as not to be seen, about 3 minutes later Simon had a good amount of cooked Deer in his pack. after packing up everything he got up and closed his eyes, the bird he had summoned had done its job and was now leading Zer0 right back to Simon, Simon put some roast deer out for Zer0 and sat next to the bottom of a tree, there he started meditating and concentrating on everything around him.

Arena Update:

It is now fully night time.

The weather is cloudy.

 

A new area has been added to the arena at the west. It is a large canyon, with multiple crags, containing a total of five "pockets". There are large cave systems on the lower parts and a waterfall to the north.

 

The first monsters have been placed into the arena; Giant Ants.

 

Though easy to kill, they can do a lot of damage in numbers. There are currently thirty in the arena.

 

Twenty in the crag, and the other ten are scattered around the original arena.

Zer0 followed the bird until he was sure he had gotten rid of Simon and landed, only to see Simon meters away from him. "Are you a siren? / Mystical being you are. / Or is this magic?" He questioned, confused by this new foe. He decided after getting an answer, he would finally get rid of this foe.
