Princess Celestia stared at him, her mouth dropping open in shock.  Luna waited.  "Y-you-you.  But s-she..." she looked between them.  "Don't you know how much danger you've put her in?!" she screamed in horror.

Mystical Flow left the room.  Angel Feather slowly followed her.  Bright Spark and Electro Dash hurried out as well.

Yavolin hanged his head and didn't speak he was lucky if celestia didn't decide to throw him into the dungeon,  but he was an element of harmony surely celestia wouldn't put him in jail, all he could say was."I..I know". Yavolin didn't feel like getting angry but for Luna's sake he was willing to change.

"Um... Yah... You deal with that... Um.... I'm going to check in at other parts of equestria... Later"

 

Shade left and teleported away with the crystal hart... She appeared outside canterlot castle by a window...

 

"I didn't want to end up here... I guess this hart has some interference with my magic...

 

She looked in the window and saw Celestia freaking out at yavolin...

 

"This I gotta see!"

Princess Celestia put her face in her hooves silently.  Luna stared at her as it slowly sunk in what she had done.  Not only could she not fly, or use magic, but no she could no longer use the powers that the earth ponies had.  She couldn't buck, she could barely run.  She was more vulnerable then ever.

"What are we going to do..." Celestia looked up.

Yavolin looked at Luna. "send her away far away were discord can never find her, I'll look after her until you have need of me". Yavolin knew staying here at canterlot would put her more at risk but he also knew that Luna had a duty to fight discord but what could she do?

Shade teleported inside the castle... But ended up a few feet infront of yavolin

 

* oh Celestia... He's going to attack me.. Stupid crystal hart *

 

Shade turned to Celestia

"So Luna's more open for attack? Thanks for the info... I just may tell discord about this!"

Yavolin saw shade he quickly bucked her before she did anything else. He looked at celestia expecting her to place shade in the canterlot jail cell the anti magic ones that ponies couldn't escape from. Yavolin now really wanted Luna away from here.

"To where," Celestia sighed.  Then she got an idea.  "To Saddle Arabia?"

"But I-I can't go anywhere!" Luna said suddenly.  "I'm a Princess too sister!  I have to help!"

Celestia startled and turned to Shade.  "Can't you leave US ALONE?!" she screamed right in her face.  "Go tell him then, as if we can do anything!" Celestia looked at Yavolin.  "Not Saddle Arabia," she said in annoyance.

Luna blinked at her sister.

Rose Petal looked at North Arrow, annoyed. "Your compass is off. This is the third time we've ended up back at Canterlot. We're supposed to be going to the Crystal Empire, remember?" 

 

North was unabashed. "I can't help it. Everything's getting thrown out of whack. My maps are useless now... Discord's rearranged them personally." The maps had indeed all been reformed, their contents rearranged into creepy smiles. 

 

"Well, what do you suggest we do? Return to Celestia, and disappoint her?" 

 

"Shh." "DON'T SHU---" "Shh." He pointed. Shade seemed to be radiating with some malevolent energy, and was entering the castle. They quietly followed.

Yavolin didn't know were to go , but he looked at Luna."You are unable to defend yourself and your in no condition to fight, so please we need to go and now". Yavolin looked at Luna almost pleading her to come with him somewhere safe , till she is able to defend herself.

Luna looked at Celestia sadly.  Celestia nodded at her.  "G-go on, Luna.  Go now!"

Luna hurriedly grabbed onto Yavolin and nodded at him.

Celestia bit her bottom lip.  "If anything happens Luna...remember that I love you and...and that I'm never going to stop being sorry that...that I sent you to the moon," now Celestia felt tears running down her cheeks.

Celestia looked at Shade.  "Shut up."

Rose smiled. Interfering with her magic, eh? Well, Rose's magic still worked perfectly. She quietly murmured her plan to North. All he had to offer was "Be careful. She knows your power." 

"Thanks," Rose said with a grin. She snuck into the room, North behind her. They were directly behind the halfling... Rose was concentrating on her plan, and North tried to catch somepony's eye, to pass the message of 'keep her occupied'.

Yavolin didn't smile he hurried Luna out the front doors of celestia's castle. Yavolin had no idea were they where going to go but then it hit him, his aunt had a house in trottingham maybe if he went there and stayed a few weeks till the foal is born. Yavolin was still unsure if they would be safe but anywhere is better then here.

Princess Celestia caught North's eye.  She looked back at Shade.  "You and Discord will never win.  I'll make sure of it.  If its the last thing I do," she growled.  She thought maybe the last line would make Shade laugh or say something.  Anything.

Luna hurried with Yavolin.  She didn't ask where they were going, because tears streamed down her face.

Shade backed away from Celestia then gave her a glair

 

"You could have just said that she was in her room... Sheesh.. And I just wanted to give her hart back... Hahaha"

*yes... Il give her her hart back alright! Hahaha*

"When will you stop being so rude princess?"

 

Shade started to trot over to cadence room...

"Shade!  Wait!" Celestia called.  "Do you know what Discord said to me right before I defeated him the first time?!" she said, hurriedly, glancing at North Arrow and Rose Petal.

I have to do this right!  I have to do something!  Without my powers I'm otherwise useless!

Yavolin didn't look back all he did was go forward. he spoke to Luna quietly."were is the nearest train station from canterlot"?  Yavolin wanted to know because they needed to get to trottingham and fast before discord gets wind of what they are trying to do.

"No.  But when I and Luna beat him," Celestia started.  "He told me 'Don't worry, Tia, darling.  Don't worry little Luna.  I'll come back.  And I may not win...but at least if at the end of it, I know I'll succeed at destroying everything you love the most.'" Celestia said, slowly.  "He doesn't think he'll win, Shade.  Even he knows he doesn't stand a chance."

Luna hurriedly gave Yavolin the directions to the train station.

The thorny tendrils, now thick, flung out and wrapped themselves, as they had before, around Shade, and before she had a chance to react, pulled her back through the window into the Royal Gardens, smashing it. There, they started to pull Shade INTO A TREE. A thick-trunked tree, in fact, several pony-lengths in diameter from the Redwood Forests near Los Pegasus, with a Shade-shaped hole in it waiting for her, and if she made it there, would reform over her entire body, leaving only her head emerged. Rose was putting an awful lot of energy into this trap, and if Shade hadn't been expecting it, it should subdue her. 

 

North grabbed the Crystal Heart, and flew with it, following Shade through the window. She was going fast enough, and therefore, he was following fast enough for the Aurora that followed his flight to appear. The plan... The Crystal Heart had, after all, been what had disrupted her powers, right?

Yavolin quickly too her there. Once he was there at the traine station he walked up to the ticket master."two tickets for Trottingham please". Yavolin gave him his bits and began to wait with Luna for there train to show up. He thought about his aunt and how she was holding up.

Shade turned and looked at Celestia "But this time... He has me... And I plan to win, not to..."Shade got a shot of pain in her head and that image of the element appeared again for a short time..."Ug... I'm not a good pony... Stop saying so you stupid... Whatever."Shade turned and started walking to cadence room

 

Just then shade was trapped by a tree..."You think a tree is going to stop me?"Shade teleported out of the trees grip Grabbed the crystal hart,Then a discharge of electricity and chaos came from shade destroying the tree and making the mountain that canterlot stood on yellow..."Just like I said Celestia... I plan to win with discord..."Shade discharged again electrocuting everypony aroundThen teleported into cadence room..* well that was a lucky teleport *" hello cadence. I have a gift for you... And look! I have the crystal hart"

Rose didn't understand it. She wasn't supposed to be able to do that! She'd eavesdropped! The Heart... The Heart... Everything was screaming. The garden.... agony...

 

North looked at the scene with a look of utter dismay on his face. When Rose swayed, he dove, and caught her just before she hit the ground, unconscious. He looked the crowd gathered by the window, confused. "Why didn't it work? The Heart... She said it hindered her magic. She shouldn't have been able to do that."

Celestia gasped as she felt herself get electrocuted.  She shook out her mane.  "She...she has Discord's powers," she said quickly.  And then her face dropped.  "Cadence!" she gasped, making a run for Princess Cadence's room.

Princess Cadence looked up from her book in surprise.  She stepped off of her bed and moved into an attack position, ready to run straight for Shade.  She knew though, she shouldn't try anything.  Shade had the heart.  She couldn't do anything about it.

Quickly, Cadence ran for the window.  She called out the window.  A pegasus guard looked over as Cadence jumped out the window.

Luna was shivering next to Yavolin.  Ponies were staring and muttering at the Princess's lost horn and wings.
