"Come on princess! I wanted to give you a gift! And you run away? Gee just take this rock already."

Yavolin spoke softly to Luna."Once we get to trottingham we'll be safe at least for awhile". Yavolin wondered when their train will come he hoped that the train to trottingham wasn't canceled because the last place they wanted to go is his house or cottage.

"N-no!" Princess Cadence said, backing away.  The royal guard pegasus flew up to the window quickly, having seen what happened.  "I don't want it!" Cadence said, expecting a trap.

Princess Celestia burst into the room and ran straight for Shade.  Cadence hurried back to the window and grabbed onto the royal guard.

Luna looked around at the other ponies.  She was used to ponies staring, but not like this.  "Turn thou attention away from we, subjects!" Luna said quickly, her voice loud.  The ponies immediately turned away.

Shade surounded cadences and the guard with green fire and teleported them and herself away...

 

They ended up in a big underground city that had green goo lights and changeling all around...

 

"Not exactly where I wanted to end up... But close enough"

Yavolin sighed his ears got blasted by the royal voice."Will i can tell you and grandpa Fred are going to fight over the sports". Yavolin said it jokingly but he knew it wasn't the time to be kiding about the royal voice but he just wanted Luna to feel better.

Cadence grabs onto the guard again.  The guard flies up into the air quickly.  Cadence glances at Shade and growls under he breathe at her.  Cadence tries to hide under his wings, not wanting to be seen by the changeling.

They apparently never liked her as it is.

North looked up. There was a commotion brewing inside a window, just up there. He heard Shade's voice emanating from in that room. He was so angry... He had stopped Rose Petal from killing her. He had saved her life. And... She repays him... And Celestia's kindness... with this? He couldn't stand for it. He started to fly up to the window, when he looked back at the inert form of Rose Petal. He couldn't just leave her there.... 

 

Taking a deep breath, he landed back on the ground, and took aim at the window with his slingshot. He'd stay by her side. He wouldn't let any of the elements be harmed, and he could act just as well from here...

Luna paused and then smiled softly at Yavolin.  She nodded at him.

Mystical Flow went outside, looking annoyed.  "I leave for ten minutes and stuff happens," she growls.  "What happened?" she demands.  "Did Celestia kill Yavolin?"

Angel Feather, who was following behind her shoots her a look.  Electro Dash and Bright Spark appeared as well.

Yavolin saw the train from trottingham pull into it's station. Yavolin took Luna by the hoof and lead her to the train  , he hoped that at least now that they will be safe in trottingham and away from discord at least for awhile till celestia has need of him.

Luna followed Yavolin into the train.  The ponies in the train car they entered, hurried into the other cars.  One of the perks of being a princess.  You have your own train car.  Luna sat down and looked out the window, seeming disturbed.  "I'm so useless," she whispered.

Shade yelled at the changeling

 

"SECURE THE GUARD AND BRING ME CADENCE"

 

The changeling reacted fast as they shot goo at the guard and tied him to the ground...

 

Shade got ahold of cadences, "oh come on princess... I thought you wanted to see shining armor again... And why don't you want the crystal hart? "

Yavolin sat down next to her, he heard what she said about being useless."Hy, don't say that Luna, you aren't useless tell you that much". Yavolin waited for the train to head out to trottingham but he knew that it would at least take a few days to get there.

Cadence breathed heavily, glaring at Shade.  "Do your changeling friends know you're a halfling?" she growled, wanting, needing, something to use against Shade.  She had nothing else.

Luna looked sad.  "I am.  Without my horn, without my wings.  That's all that made me worth something.  And now I don't have that."

Yavolin looked at Luna."That's not true and you know it, you have me isn't that something"? Yavolin flet the train move , he knew it was heading back to trottingham but he had to get Luna to stop feeling sorry for herself. Yavolin remembered that he had to get married and soon before the foal comes.

Luna's mouth twitched into a small smile.  "Y-yes.  I have you," she said, softly.  "And I have our foal," she added, touching her stomach gently, trying not to think about how she didn't know a thing about foals and how to take care of them.  In or out.  Luna pursed her lips together.

"The minions do know that in only a halfling... But since I'm in position of the crystal hart... They'll still obey me. Now come along princess... I have something to talk to Chrysalice about"

 

Shade dragged cadence to a big castle...

 

Then into the throne room

 

"You have nerve coming here shade, but it appears that you have the crystal hart"

 

"Yes, and an old friend of yours... You remember cadence?"

 

"Don't remind me... Now what is it that you want shade?"

Yavolin smiled."Well lay back, Luna it's going to be awhile before we get to trottingham, but is there anything you want to know about my family before you meet them"? Yavolin didn't feel like taking about his step dad because his dad was mean and he drinked a lot.

"Well... I'm prepared to make a trade with you crysalice, il give you the crystal hart for shining armor"

Said shade

 

"Hm... Sounds like an unfare trade"

Said crysalice

 

"Is it? An unlimited source of love for a simple servent, I think I have the downside if you ask me"

Said shade

 

"Very well... But I don't want to see your flank here till you prove your a full changeling"

 

 

Shade handed over the crystal hart to crysalice and draged cadence back outside the castle

Luna laid down, taking up two seats and reached up to brush his mane back.  "Tell me whatever you're willing to tell," she said softly.

Cadence felt confused as she was dragged back out of the castle.  She bit her bottom lip in thought.  Why would Shade want Shining Armor?  What is this about?  A trick most likely.  Maybe she'll pretend to be me, or feed off of our love.

Yavolin smiled but he did say anything about his family because he was tried.  so he closed his eyes and went to sleep with Luna right besides him, he began to hear ponies talk about Luna and him. Yavolin didn't know for a fact if they will be safe there but he had to try.

Luna understood.  But she didn't go to sleep.  She stared up at the ceiling of the train car.  She turned her head to look at the window at the passing scenery.  She thought she saw a flash of Discord, but there wasn't any pony there.

She had to stay safe for four ponies now.  Tia, Yavolin, herself...and now her foal.

Yavolin spoke to Luna about their foal."So what should we name him/her? I was thinking if was a boy we should call him Greg , whats your thoughts on this"? Yavolin still had his eyes closed as he waited for answer from Luna but one thing bothered him , what if Discord finds out about him and Luna, he couldn't take that chance so he'll ask her to change her name once they are in trottingham.

Shade continued to drag cadence... They finally went into a building... It was a jail.

 

She dragged cadence and then stoped infront of one cell, in that cell was a green eyed mindless shining armor.

 

She opened the cell...

 

"Well... Here he is... Now use your love to turn him back to normal"

Luna smiled thoughtfully for a moment.  "I was thinking...Midnight..." she said, softly.

Cadence stumbled into the jail cell.  She looked at Shining Armor immediately.  She hurried towards him.  "Shining?" she said hopefully.  She sat down in front of him and took his face in her hooves.  "Shining?" she said again.

"He's under Chrysalice's spell... You need to break that spell, and will you make it quick, I don't have all day"

Shade stood there waiting for shining to be normal
