"Well, as much as it pains me (she hands luna a bag of bits) i was wrong, i would have though the changelings would have done something first, maybe something small as get in a hoof fight, but i was wrong. But that still dose not tell me why i am drug out of my bed at 3:30 in the morning. Luna What else am i missing?"

"The reason why I dragged you out, was to show you the faces of the criminals. You have charged Filthy Rich for a crime before, but this is his second. Only you can make the initial charge. I can make an arrest, but since you're slightly above me, you make the charge." Luna stated. 

 

"Ugh, I'm gonna go back to bed now. I got a big day tomorrow, as I'm performing piano at a talent show tomorrow. I also have to meet up with Sweetie Belle around 10am for a rehearsal session." Thunder Dash said. "Thank you your highness." He said as he bowed as walked away. Storm Rush also bowed and walked away back to the tunnels. 

 

When they arrived back at the tunnels, they immediately fell back to sleep.

With the legal papers signed and Shining Star now officially adopted Chrysalis leaves as well as Princess Luna and Princess Celestia after having given her two cents on the topic. "10 years dungeon. And that is me being nice."

 

In the dream shining star got tired and set herself back onto the ground.

Soon it was morning and Thunder Dash got all ready and headed out to meet Sweetie Belle. 

 

Rainbow Dash headed to Applebucks to have breakfast with the Wonderbolts. Storm Rush stayed back and organized his papers while keeping an eye on the still sleeping Shining Star.

Shining Star ended up waking around noonish and started pruning her wings trying to get feathers back into where they were suppose to go. She then felt the bump on her head from when she fell in the middle of the night. She got into the kitchen and began to pour some cereal. The three changelings however had woken up very early and went out to Los Pegasus to have a nice little vacation.

At the rehearsal place, Thunder Dash and Sweetie Belle were prepping for the talent show. Little did Sweetie Belle know was that this was going to plant a seed in her destiny. Sweetie Belle and Thunder Dash practiced long, for about 2 hours, until Sweetie Belle got tired and wanted to stop for the day.

 

Thunder Dash returned to the tunnels to find the praetorians gone. "Hm, I wonder where the praetorians went?" Thunder Dash asked. He then noticed Shining Star finishing her breakfast. "Morning Shining Star." Thunder Dash said. "Hey Rainbow." He added. "Hey." Rainbow Dash returned. "Where's Storm Rush?" Thunder Dash asked. "He's up in Cloudsdale." Rainbow Dash answered.

"morning daddy. Silver fang asked me to tell you that the went on vacation and that they will be back in two months time." Shining star said as she finished her breakfast and washed her dishes. "how was the piano rehearsals?" She asked when she was done with the dishes

"It went well, Sweetie Belle's just about ready. Let's hope she keeps her current attitude up, 'cause this'll be her first time performing in front of anypony." Thunder Dash said. "And, oh, I hope all goes well with them and they don't get into any mishaps. I've always wanted to go to Los Pegasus, but we'll plan that later. And oh yeah, Storm Rush is up in Cloudsdale. He said he was going there for some "competition". He said it wasn't the "Best Young Flyer Contest", but hey, you could probably enter that. That is, with the proper training." Thunder Dash said scratching the back of his head.

Shining star flattens her ears. "I-i don't think I will be able to keep up with any of the other ponies. Plus I don't think they would allow an-an.... They wouldn't allow an alicorn to be entered in the best young flyers competition. I'm sure they will they anything to keep me out of it." She sadly added

"Ah, don't worry. I'm sure they've let alicorns in "Best Young Flyer Contests" in the past. Twilight Sparkle can enter one now. Come on, it's worth a try." Thunder Dash said.

 

Up in Cloudsdale, Storm Rush was watching young pegasus train for the "Best Young Flyer Contest".

Shining stars ears remain flat, but she nods in agreement. and walks up beside Thunder-Dash. "Is mommy going to be coming with us to the competition?" she asked still feeling down. "I knew i should have learned how to fly better. now i am going to make a fool of myself in-front of everypony up there." shining star thinks

[Courageous Thunder Dash 7,824]

"I'll train you. We have two weeks before the competition. Our training starts tommorow. First, we will start with the basics, then we will go through intermediate maneuvers, finally, we will go through some of the advanced techniques." Thunder Dash said. 

 

Storm Rush then suddenly came in. "Oh man, that competition was awesome! That race around Cloudsdale was tough!" Storm Rush said trying to catch his breath. "Jeez, that must've wiped you out." Thunder Dash commented. "Sure did." Storm Rush said.

Shining Star squeaks a little at this and tries to hide behind the chair. "how-how tough is it?" She asked clearly nervous about the race. her mind was swimming with questions, but none of them just seemed to want to come out. She then looks at Thunder-dash. "What time dose the training start?"

"It's not a race. It's a competition where they judge you by your flying skills, your handling, variance in maneuvers and other characteristics. Training starts tomorrow. There's an open field I've found, that's perfect for our training. Get plenty of sleep tonight. We will be up at 9am starting from tomorrow. It won't last all day. We will try to get in 3 hours of training per day. On the last week however, we will work on a routine." Thunder Dash explained.

Shining Star perks up at this and leaves the room to go outside and play. She ends up going to the park and jumps on the swing. She is having a good time when Silver spoon comes up to her and starts bulling her. Shining Star returns home a few hours later and runs to her room crying because of the bulling.

"Wh-wh what happened?" Thunder Dash asked as he embraced Shining Star while she was in tears.

 

Meanwhile Rainbow Dash was pruning her wings. Storm Rush had gone out to the town square to chill out with his friends. "Next time, I'm gonna take Shining Star to the park, Silver Spoon ain't gonna get away with this..." He thought to himself. The more he thought about it, the angrier he got. Silver Spoon was not gonna get away with bullying his daughter.

"Sil-silver spo-spoon w-w-w-w-was bulling me" she started while crying. "she pushed m-me off the swing and-and kicked dirt into my face. She said that it w-w-w-was my fault that diamond tiara father was arrested. Then diamond t-t-tiara joined in and they both threw me into the river s-s-s-saying thats where i belonged" she blabbed

Thunder Dash was angry. "Next time, I'm going to park with you. Those two don't know who's daughter their messing with..." Thunder Dash said. He then turned into a changeling, put Shining Star in between his wings and vibrated them to calm her down. 

 

Storm Rush came in to see the crying Shining Star. "Whoa, rough day huh?" Storm Rush asked. Thunder Dash nodded yes. "She was bullied by those two jerks Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon. I swear to celestia nopony's gonna treat my daughter my that." Thunder Dash said as he continued to vibrate his wings and calm Shining Star down.

After a while Shining star cheered up with the vibrating of the wings. she then started giggling from the vibrations tickling her. "Daddy? If Diamond Tiara was involved in the ponynappings, why was she released from custody? Why was she the only one that got off the hook? That's just teaching her that she can get away with anything." She said

"Because she's still a filly, fillies can't go to jail because they're underage. But that doesn't mean I can still do something about it. I  gotta teach you about being assertive. That'll certainly come in handy when you're in one of those situations. Did I ever tell you the story of Babs Seed? I guess not. Well, she had come to visit Applejack's little sister Applebloom. When she came, she was a bit shy. However, the evil Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon interfered just as she was about to become a Cutie Mark Crusader. Instead, Babs became a ferocious bully. But, here's the thing, the Cutie Mark Crusaders grew angry and decided to go for revenge. it wasn't until they realized they were the bullies and saved Babs from the float that was gonna go into the river during a parade. In the end, Babs became a Cutie Mark Crusader and fended off Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon by asserting herself." Thunder Dash said. "But watch out, Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon know how to counter-assert themselves and continue bullying. That's a tactic bullies use. All they try to do is scare you. You gotta scare them twice as hard. This way, they won't even think about messing with you if they encounter you a second time after the first." Thunder Dash said continuing to vibrate his wings but slightly softer.

Shining Star agrees. "Ok. But when i learn to be assertive, can i go to the park alone and try and protect myself? that way they will not have anything to use against me when i try and be more assertive." she asked giving you the applebloom and sweetybell puppy eyes.

"Maybe, it depends. I'll take care of them this once. I'll accompany you to the park, but I won't help. Watch carefully. Develop your own words off of mine. If you copy mine exactly, they'll know. Make up your own phrases." Thunder Dash said. "But our training for the Best Young Flyer Contest starts tommorow. After our 3 hour training, I'll take you to the park." Thunder Dash said.

"Ok" shining star chirped happily, but then realized that meant she had to go to bed. "dang" she said as she went to the wash room to wash up and brush her teeth. After she finished she put on her wonder-bolts pajamas that Rainbow got her for her b-day and went to bed very exited about what the next day was going to bring.

Thunder Dash went to wash up and decided to go talk to Rainbow Dash. 

 

Storm Rush had already went to bed. Thunder Dash soon went to bed, thinking about all of the stuff he would teach Shining Star in the morning.

 

Morning finally arrived. "Wake up Shining Star. Get some cereal and toast 'cause it's the first day of training!" Thunder Dash said.

Shining Star awoke, looked at the clock and had to do a double take at how early it was. She went into he bathroom and brushed her teeth. She then went downstairs still very tired and sat down at the breakfast table. "Morning dad. Whats for breakfast?" she asked
