[Courageous Thunder Dash 7,824]

"Okay." Thunder Dash said as he turned into a changeling and put Shining Star on his back. He then started to vibrate but did it softer than usual because of Shining Star's stomach. When he was vibrating his wings, he could hear the various sounds coming from Shining Star's stomach.

(ooc: Role Playing Game PARTY!!!! Anyways, wow. that is good. Things are starting to get better with my life)

 

Shining Star didn't giggle and laugh like she always did and just tuned out all the sounds. The vibrating was working like it always did, and soon shining star was asleep on Thunder-Dashes back. In her dream distant voice tormented Star about her. "​ Their not your parents. Your parents are either dead or banished by the SIX! *evil laugh*" Before star could begin to show signs of having a nightmare, Princess Luna quickly swooped in her dream and, with out being seen by star, barricaded the bad away from her and star started having nice dreams again, maininly of her having a swimming pool of white chocolate and jello.

Thunder Dash continued to vibrate his wings and noticed Shining Star sleeping. Before long, he fell asleep as well. Storm Rush noticed the two sleeping and put a blanket over Shining Star. Thunder Dash was still in his changeling form.

Shining Star felt the blanket get placed on her and she stirred a little, opened her eyes and looked up at Storm Rush. She then laid her head back down and drifted off to sleep where Luna was still watching over her making sure that little shining star would not be bothered by any nightmares, even if they were from her subconsciousness

A couple hours later, Thunder Dash woke and gently put Shining Star in her bed. He then transformed back into his pony form. He then went downstairs to find Rainbow Dash laughing like crazy. "What the hay's up with you?" He asked. She tried to say something over her laughter. "That...epic...scare...was..." before she could say the word "hilarious", she was back into a giant laughing fit. He then noticed his laptop sitting on the table and decided to have a look. It was that one prank where these ponies hid in a place, jumped out and scared  unsuspecting ponies. Thunder Dash looked at it. When it came to the scare, he burst out laughing. It was too much for him. Thunder Dash laughed loudly.

Shining Star began to dream again, and another nightmare broke free of Lunas protection spell. "You really think that these ponies are your parents. look at yourself. your parents were taken out by a great evil or by the ponies that you call family" Shining Star looked around looking for the source of the voice. "your...Your wrong. They are my parents, and they love me.  "They are not your parents. Chrysalis and Sombra were your parents. These ponies have lied to you and deceived you. They even erased your memories of events that have played out." Shining star awoke with a start, and with a heavy heart she laid her head back on the pillow and just looked at the ceiling. She could hear Thunder-Dash laughing downstairs. A tear rolled down her right eye, and she repositioned herself so as the pillow was now covering her eye

Thunder Dash finally calmed down and went back to check on Shining Star. He then delved into her thoughts and saw the chaos that was happening. In her thoughts, he saw the figure who was tricking her. He then looked for Luna. But there was no sign of her. "How could this figure have broke through?" He asked himself. He then cast a protection spell of his own. He then saw Luna. He asked Luna if she knew of that black figure. She had never seen him before. Thunder Dash and Luna concluded that the figure was trying to trick Shining Star and make her leave her own family. He then came back to reality.

Shining star dream returned to that of a happy and peaceful dream. She dreamed that her and the family were having a good time. The only thing that was different was that shining star was a younger filly. She was very happy and seemed like she didn't have a care in the world.

 

Later Luna sent a scroll to thunder-dash explaining that the figure might bee her subconscious

Thunder Dash read the scroll. He then thought about it for a second. "The subconscious mind is a completely separate thing. But thoughts can enter the subconscious mind subconsciously. Maybe since we adopted Shining Star, thoughts of this have formulated in her subconscious, which caused that black figure to appear. Dreams appear subconsciously, but..." Thunder Dash thought to himself.

Shining Star woke up several hours later, and went to take a bath. She didn't remember the dreams she had, and seemed very happy. After taking a 1.5 hour bath, she shook herself dry and pruned her wings. Once done, she went downstairs and got herself some breakfast and said morning to her parnets

"Well well, morning Shining Star." Thunder Dash said as he caught a piece of toast that flew out of the toaster. But it was hot and he began to juggle it around in his hooves trying not to get burned. He finally put it on a plate and put butter on it. "Want some toast?" He asked Shining Star.

Shining Star laughed at this and said. "I hope its going to be that piece." She commented while still laughing. She was feeling very good this morning, and seemed to not be affected by the nightmare from the night before

He then placed the plate of toast in front of Shining Star and proceeded to fix another for himself. Once he did, he then sat with Shining Star and ate. Rainbow Dash then came downstairs with her mane all frazzled up due to the night. "Ugh Rainbow, can't you remember to brush your mane as soon as you get up. It looks messy." Thunder Dash said. Rainbow Dash then went to look in the mirror. She giggled at the sight. "I'll fix it." She said as she went back upstairs and brushed her mane. She then came back down and fixed herself some toast.

Shining Star ate her breakfast and then ran upstairs trying to avoid her first day of homeschool. She then came back downstairs and ran off out the door heading for the park. At the Park she got on the swings and started swinging, sometimes going for the tire swing

(OOC: I wasn't planning to do the homeschool thing but anyway)

 

Thunder Dash noticed Shining Star left. He then envisioned her at the park. He hadn't gone to the park in a while and wanted to go back. Yet he was way too big to fit on the swings. Therefore he performed an age regression transformation. He gathered some electricity and circulated it throughout his body. His horn began to glow. There was a beam of light. Thunder Dash was revealed as his younger self without a horn. However, he could go back to his adult form using the same method, just with out the horn. He then flew out to the park, and went on the swing next to Shining Star.

She looked at Thunder-Dash. "Daddy?" She said confused, as if she was not sure if he was really there or if she was just imagining things. She hopped off the swing and walked up the Thunder-Dash, brought her hoof up and poked him in the shoulder. Only after determining that he really was there did she say. "How did you become a colt again?"

"Age spell on myself. Don't worry, I can go back. But it just feels...so good to be a colt again. Ugh, just reliving that day when I got my electric abilities...that was the day that changed my life...forever." Thunder Dash said looking up to the sky and letting out a sigh of content.

"so, your a colt again... is that a good sigh or a bad sigh?" She asked after carefully studying Thunder Dash for a few minutes. After asking this question, she started pushing herself of the swing again, but her mind was no longer on having fun, but remembering what the dreams were telling her

"Well, I can go back if I want to, but I'd rather stay like this for a while. I just hope nopony thinks something bad happened to me." Thunder Dash said as he continued to swing next to Shining Star. He then swung a little harder and went a bit higher.

Shining star just remained silent, her gaze fixed on one location deep in thought. ​"what does it all mean, why do i keep having these nightmare...I just don't understand it" she thought to herself, and without really thinking,put up a mind barrier so that no pony could be able to get into her mind. "if im going to figure this out, i may have to get to the bottom of it (looks in the direction of the everfree forest) *gulp* and it starts in there."

Thunder Dash suddenly noticed Shining Star deep in thought. He then delved into her thoughts and realized she was thinking about the nightmares and dreams she had for the past few nights. "Only Luna would know from here on." He said to himself slowing down on his swing and soon coming to a complete stop.

Shining Star gets up off the swing and starts heading for the Everfree Forest. She was deep in thought as well as lost in thought. The dreams confusing her more and more about who she was, who her parents were, and she started weeping as she entered the forest

Thunder Dash followed behind. He then reverted to his older self. He then gently picked up Shining Star and hugged her, for he knew the mental pain she was suffering, trying to figure out who she really, truly was. "I'm gonna have to seek Luna ASAP 'cause this must deal with Shining Star's past, yet, I don't know anything about her past." Thunder Dash thought.

Shining Star hugged thunder dash tightly and sniffed. She was just so confused on who she was, why she was so different from all the other ponies of ponyville, and was so tired of being picked on for it. She soon ended up crying herself to sleep in Thunder-Dashes hooves

ooc: Well, im finally back, i had to go back to training, it was so sudden that i had no chance to alert anyone nor did i bring anything with. it was worth the boredom in the barracks, i got paid active duty pay for it

Thunder Dash flew back up to Cloudsdale and rested for a while. He then woke up and continued to stroke Shining Star. "Even though the changelings are living in harmony, Shining Star is still the one who's not equal. It just doesn't feel right. There's got to be a way to fix this." Thunder Dash thought. He then continued to stroke Shining Star.
