[Flying Ace 142]

Ace nodded at Thunder as he took off then looked at Shining Star. "Well, I guess your going to sleep in my house since its on the ground, and you can't fly, so lets go we have a long, long trip ahead of us." Ace fineshed his cupcake and got up streching his wings with satisfying pops. "Ah that feels good."

[Courageous Thunder Dash 7,824]

After eating, Thunder Dash flew back up to Cloudsdale to find his sister Rainbow Dash packing some of her things. "So...I guess you decided to come along with us." Thunder Dash said. "Yeah, I haven't been on quests since...since you know when." Rainbow Dash replied.

 

"Yeah, well we gotta get some shuteye, for we'll have to get up bright and early tommorow." Thunder Dash said.

 

After Thunder Dash helped Rainbow finish packing her things, they both went to bed.

Shining Star was just stunned that Pinkie Pie heard what she said. "how could this be? how dose she do that. she just dosnt pop up in random places, its as if she knew we where there the entire time, or at least going to be there" The trio of new friends all go to sleep and prep for the 'quest' that is about to unfold.

Thunder Dash woke early with Rainbow Dash and the two headed down to Ponyville. "I wonder how the little filly did last night." I wondered. "I guess she did well since she slept with Ace." He said. "Who's Ace?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Oh, he's a new friend of mine. He's a pegasus as well. Let's go have breakfast at Sugarcube Corner. I bet Pinkie Pie is making pancakes this morning." Thunder Dash said to Rainbow Dash. "Shouldn't we wait for the others?" Rainbow Dash asked. "I guess, but I'll just go let PInkie Pie know to start making them if she isn't." Thunder Dash said. So the two walked over to Sugarcube Corner.

Ace yawned and woke up, "*yawn* Time to get Shining Star and meet Thunder Dash at Suger Cube Corner." Ace got up and walked around the towers of books that was in his living room, he walked into his room to see Shinig Star sleeping soundly in his bed. "Wake up Shining Star, It's time to go."

shining star stretched and walked over to where her cloak was hanging on the wall. some of the 'learning how to use magic and how to fly' moved to the room and opened and on the floor. "if your wondering about what pinkie pie said, just go ahead and ask it, stop looking at me with the confused eyes."

(OOC: being an alicorn she can sense things that others would not normally pick up on)

[Courageous Thunder Dash 7,824]

Thunder Dash greeted Ace and Shining Star. Just then, Pinkie Pie came out with the pancakes. "Here you go." She said with a giggle. 

 

"Let's eat, for we've got a big day ahead of us." Thunder Dash said as he used magic through his electrical abilities to pick up a pancake and start to munch on it. "I tell ya Pinkie Pie is one of the greatest bakers in Ponyville, besides Mr. and Mrs. Cake." Thunder Dash said, continuing to munch on the pancake. 

 

Rainbow Dash had started eating a pancake.

Just as Rainbow Dash took her first bite, Artifact aproached the door to sugar cube corner. There he greeted Pinky,"Hello Pinky I'm here to pick up the order I placed last week, I think it was two dozen bubblegum flavored cupcakes." Then,  Artifact realizing he was not alone, preceded to greet the greet the others. "Hello I don't think we've met before, I'm Artifact"

Shining Star looked at Artifact and tried to hide. "H-Hello" she squeaked. She seeing that she could not hide, she jumped between Thunder Dash and Rainbow dash. Thats when she realized somepony was sitting next to Thunder Dash "W-Who are you?" she asked Rainbow dash

"Well I'm picking up my order" Artifact replied to Thunder Dash " I'm doing some study on ancient artifacts tonight and I need some good eating" Laughed Artifact. Knealing down to the height of shining star, Artifact begins to talk "Don't worry, this pony here has a great reputation in ponyville" Says Artifact pointing towards Rainbow Dash "Although I have not personally met her until know, I'm sure she will be a Brilliant aid in your quest, of course these other ponies are sure to be equally helpful" says Artifact "say you wouldn't mind... If I came along too?"

"I have no memories about my parents nothing I was raised in an orpanage in Cloudsdale, I always told myself my parents are alived and had a good reason to abandoned me, so I know how it feels" Ace said, wanting to change the subject.

Well, what happens is when I flap them, like this..." Thunder began to flap his wings. "This produces enough force for me to rise into the air. "Also, some pegasai, like me, jump before they flap their wings, but for now, just try flapping your wings as hard as you can and you'll get it!" Thunder Dash said.

"I happen To be an alicorn, which gives me the ability to fly, but I'm not very good at it,I prefer magic"Says Artifact pointing at his horn.

"anyway back to my question before, may I join you on this quest?"Asks Arifact, while grabbing his order from Pinky Pie.

But from what i was able to get from the Equestrian Military data base was that they are reported Missing in Action. They are alive out their somewhere and i am going to find them. Even if..." She looses her train of thought as Thunder Dash tells her how to fly. She tears off her cloak and starts flapping her wings hard. "Even if it takes the rest of my life" she finished  suddenly she gains lift and fast causing her to loose control and slam into the wall and sticking in the wall by her horn

"Oh yeah, we could surely use an alicorn's help for this one. Who know's what we'll encounter." Thunder Dash said. 

 

He then continued to explain flying to the little filly. "You'll get it, don't be scared. Once you get it, you'll feel so happy that you can now fly." Thunder Dash said.

"Ouch, that's gotta hurt." Thunder Dash said walking over to help Shining Star. "Control is very important when it comes to flying. You must put almost all of your concentration into it." Thunder Dash said. "Now give it another go." He added, helping the little filly back on to her hooves.

"Heh, even having wings comes with its downfalls." Artifact looks at shining star " Do not worry little one your flying 10 times better than me when I was a filly, you are on a valiant quest and I salute you for your abilitys but remember, You will always need friends to help you through hardships.

She tried again and this time was able to get in the air and hover. She looked around and then the memory of all the pegasi making fun of her for not being able to fly caused her to eep and shoot straight up through the roof and and to the ground about 400 hooves away leaving a smoke trail filled with electricity behind her. shortly later a loud thump followed by glass breaking sound comes into SCC. "HOW WAS THAT? I FEEL DIZZY NOW!" yelled the young filly as bystanders all were running past SCC to see what happened "MY Clothing STORE!"

Artifact quickly rushed towards  the large crater that was emmbebed in Carousel Boutique and helped the filly up "WOW , young one are you okay?That was brilliantly fast! Rainbow Dash what do you think about that, It was truely a stunning spectical" Asks Artifact helping the filly up to her feet.

Rainbow Dash began to sweat. "What, you're not jelous are you." Thunder Dash asked. "You'd better not, for she's just a little filly. Watch that pride of yours." Thunder Dash warned. 

 

Rainbow Dash calmed down and said nothing. Meanwhile Thunder Dash went back to check on Shining Star
