[Courageous Thunder Dash 7,824]

Thunder Dash kept flying and looked ahead. He saw the house with the rainbow waterfalls approaching. "We're almost there!" Thunder Dash said excitedly. 

 

Soon, they arrived. Thunder Dash landed on the clouds and took a deep breath in and out. He always remembered that familiar smell when coming into his house. Thunder Dash then went to his room and started to unpack.

Shining Star landed after Thunder-dash and her extra weight caused her to sink slightly into the clouds. "Ok, now i know i over did it on those pancakes." she said while struggling to walk in the cloud layers. "if the flying didnt help, this will surely help burn off the extra pounds." she walks into the house. "Wow, this place is nice."

Thunder Dash sat down and picked up Shining Star and gave her a belly rub. Rainbow Dash went and looked at her bookshelf. She saw all of the "Daring Do" books she owned. She didn't have all of them. There were 20 books in the collection. She only read the first 2. Storm Rush came into his room and unpacked his stuff. As Thunder Dash was rubbing Shining Star's belly, he looked at a picture of his brother, Electra Blitz. He looked like Thunder Dash except the patterns on his coat were slightly different. He was also a bit more silly than Thunder Dash, which would often lead him into getting into all sorts of mischief. "Ugh, he was so much fun to hang around. Although he almost got us in trouble..." Thunder Dash said. "Was?" A voice said from above. Thunder Dash looked up. There he was, his brother. Thunder Dash stopped rubbing Shining Star's belly, put her down on the couch and got up. "No way! Dude! I haven't seen you in forever!" Thunder Dash said as Electra Blitz flew down. "Hey! Blitz! What's up!" Rainbow Dash said getting up. "Rainbow Dash! Look how you've grown! I haven't seen you since you were just a little filly!" Electra Blitz said. "Oh, and this is our daughter, Shining Star. We adopted her a few weeks ago." Thunder Dash said. "Well, it's a pleasure." Electra Blitz said to Shining Star.

Shining Star looked at Electra Blitz and Thunder-Dash like she was seeing double. She then sat down shook her head and looked back at the two ponies standing in front of her. She finally saw the difference and said  "ohhh, OK, so it wasn't the food today. that's good. Hi uncle blitz. Hey mommy? can i go walk around Cloudsdale looking like you were when you were a filly?" she asked with her best impression on the Sweetiebell eyes

 

(I approve of the new OC.  I would make another OC to add, but i just dont have any Ideas)

Rainbow Dash giggled at this question. "Me? No no no of course not!" Rainbow said smiling, picking Shining Star and placing her on her lap. "Since everypony knows me, they would think something bad happened that I got turned into a filly." Rainbow Dash said. 

 

Meanwhile Storm Rush had just flew in. "Sorry I was late, just had to...no way! Electra Blitz! What's up dude?!" Storm Rush asked excitedly walking over to Electra Blitz. "Dude! Storm Rush! How's it going?! Still working at the factory?" Electra-Blitz asked. "Yeah, but the machines are like, way outdated." Storm Rush said. "The machine factories are still being built back in Detrot (OOC: Ponified version of Detroit)." Electra Blitz explained. "All this time? Jeez!" Storm Rush commented.

Shining Star just smiled and said. "Yea, those machines are taking a long long time to build." she then started thinking about why they would take so long and left for the weather factory. When she went in and saw the size of the machines her jaw just hit the ground. A worker spotted her. "Hey, you cant be back here!" he yelled running up to shining star who took off and ran back to the house. "If somepony comes looking for me, im not here!" she yelled flying upstairs

Thunder Dash saw Shining Star dart back in the house. "Ugh, not him again. He won't let anypony except employees come. I've gotta do something about that guy." Thunder Dash said. "What guy?" Electra Blitz asked. "You remember that pegasus pony who would always be there monitoring everything? Well appearently, the company hasn't fired him because everypony has access to the weather factory, and there are certain points that only employees are only able to access. Well since he's there, he's banned ALL access to anything." Thunder Dash said. "They've got to do something." Electra Blitz said. "The only thing to do is to talk to the top dog." Thunder Dash said. "Great idea, he's in his office almost all the time, except when he has special operations." Electra Bliz said. "I'll talk to Shining Star." Thunder Dash said heading upstairs. When he got upstairs, he saw Shining Star. "Ugh, sorry about that guy. He's just sooo I don't know. But by my permission, you CAN go visit the weather factory anytime you want. Just watch out for signs that say "employees only. I'm an employee, so when your with me, I can take you back to those spots, but when I'm not, you can't go back there. As for that pegasus, he has an illegal job. No one hired him. He's just there just to annoy people. He's no worker. If you look at his name-tag, it's fake. His real name isn't Snow Blast. He's a mischievous dark pegasus known as Red Fury." Thunder Dash said. 

 

Suddenly a worker pony came into Thunder Dash's room. "Was that one of your relatives who was back there a few minutes ago?" He asked. "Yes, it was. In fact, it was my daughter." Thunder Dash asked. "Your daughter?! I didn't know you had a daughter." The worker said shocked. "Well, that explains it. But as for that pegasus who stopped her. I will have him reported and fired, for he is a fake, a scammer, who does nothing but create problems." The worker pony said. "Almost like a ponified version of Discord." Thunder Dash said to himself. "Well, good luck with getting rid of him. He should've been banished from Ponyville by now." Thunder Dash said. "Yes, but the Princess doesn't know about it." The worker pony said. "I guess I'll have to go tell her about it...say...do you happen to have a picture of Red Fury without his disguise on?" Thunder Dash asked. "Well..." The worker pony said searching his bag. He then pulled out a picture of Red Fury. "Ah, here you are." The worker pony said. "Thanks a lot. Now, let's get this pony outta here." Thunder Dash said.

"So what your telling me is that i got chased out of he weather factory by a non-employed pony? Wow that is so messed up. But now i know what its taking so long to build those machines. THEY ARE HUGE!!!" Shining star said mad at first, then surprised. She then got up and went back downstairs to see the rest of the house.

The worker pony then said good bye and then left. "Yo Blitz!" Thunder Dash called out. Elecra Blitz flew in. "You called?" He asked. "Yeah, could you maybe fly this picture over to Celestia's castle and tell her about this pegasus pony, Red Fury?" Thunder Dash asked. "Wait a minute, I know that jerk!" Electra Blitz said. "He's the one who almost got me kicked out of flight school. But in end, he got kicked out." Electra Blitz said. "Well, the bad news is he's now in the weather factory, working illegally. He's caused so much trouble in Ponyville. He needs to be banished." Thunder Dash said. "No way! I'm on it!" Electra Blitz said as he took the picture from Thunder Dash and headed over to Canterlot.

 

Thunder Dash then went back downstairs and found Rainbow Dash and Storm Rush playing battlecloud (OOC: ponified version of battleship). Storm Rush had only one mega-cloud left, but Rainbow Dash was able to find it and win the game. "Ugh, come on Rainbow! You win every time!" Storm Rush complained as he facehoofed. "Looks like I still got my perfect streak." Rainbow Dash said with a giggle. "One day, just one day one of us will beat you." Thunder Dash warned.

Shining Star came downstairs. "Ohh, battlecloud, can i play?" she asked walking up to the table that storm and rainbow were sitting at. "I bet i can beat one of you in this game." She notices Rainbows perfect streak sheet. "I bet i can beat you mommy" she said sounding very confident

"Okay, but I'll warn you. I don't play easy." Rainbow Dash said. "Your mother's right. She's like the Queen of battlecloud." Thunder Dash said coming from upstairs. He then went to sit and watch. "Good luck Shining Star." Thunder Dash said. "Hay! Why don't I get a "good luck"?" Rainbow Dash asked sarcastically. "Because you already have it." Thunder Dash returned.

Shining star place her pieces on the game. She then changed to her normal changeling self and waited for Rainbow to put her pieces on the board. With her changeling form now up, she had a very good poker face on.

By time Electra Blitz returned. The game was at a tie. Rainbow Dash was actually sweating a bit. "Oh wow! Could this be it?" Thunder Dash asked. Rainbow Dash was really nervous now. She called her space, but rather with a stutter. "A 7." She said stuttering and sweating.

"miss!" shining Star cheered. She thought hard about her move. In her mind she calculated all her hits and misses. There were only so many spaces on the board and she had almost gotten all the pieces she needed. There was only one space that she needed to hit. she had many options, but only one would get her to victory. "umm, B-9?" she asked but in a way of not sounding unsure and keeping her changeling poker face on

Rainbow Dash stared at the space where her last piece was. The hole that needed to be filled was indeed B-9. She was completely wet with sweat dripping from all over her. "I...I..." She started but stopped. She looked at Thunder Dash, then Electra Blitz, then Storm Rush with a face of fear. She then looked at the hole labeled B-9, where her last hole to be attacked was. "I.......I......lost." Rainbow Dash said in huge disappointment and surprise at the same. "No way!!" Thunder Dash screamed. "You did it Shining Star! You just beat the champion!" He said as he swooped up Shining Star in his arms and twirled her around. Rainbow Dash was about to cry but held it back.

Shining Star walked up to rainbow and gave Rainbow Dash a hug. "Good game mom" She said trying to cheer her up. She knew that rainbow dash was upset being that she was able to feel her wanting to cry. She then stepped back and held out her hoof wanting to shake Rainbows hoof

Rainbow Dash looked up at Shining Star and then the gameboard. She was very upset inside but didn't want to show it, so she decided to shake Shining Stars hoof, pick her up and hug her. She then put her down. 

 

Thunder Dash came and then picked up Rainbow Dash and put her on his lap. Rainbow Dash was a bit hesitant at first and flapped her wings, but she slowly calmed down. "I know how you feel Rainbow, but it's only a game. You sometimes win and you sometimes. Hey, I've lost many games before. Do you think I stay upset? No, it's a game, just let it go and move on. Anytime you see something that reminds you of the loss, forget about it. Force yourself to forget it." Thunder Dash said. "But...but....." Rainbow Dash said with tears coming from her eyes. "How can I forget?" She said starting to cry. Thunder Dash hugged her. "I know it's hard. But hey, there was this one time I had this contest in Cloudsdale. It wasn't the "Best Young Flyer Contest", it was an aerial acrobatics contest. I trained so hard for it. But, in the end, I came in 2nd place after weeks of training. Do you think I felt angry or upset? Of course I did, but only for a split second. I then realized it was only a contest and there will be plenty more to come. But I kinda cheered myself up by making a joke. I was like "Oh well, back to the gym!". Thunder Dash said with a laugh. Rainbow Dash giggled at this. Suddenly it came to her. "You're right! I kinda have been over-possessive of my champion title, which is why I cared so much about the games I play. Maybe that's why I got so upset when I lost..." Rainbow Dash said. "Hey, in my books, you'll always be a champion." Thunder Dash said with honesty. Rainbow Dash looked at Thunder Dash and blushed. She then hugged him.

Shining star put the game away. After she finished putting the game away she went outside for a walk around town. While she walked she looked at all the buildings that had been repaired or rebuilt. She suddenly had visions the battle that took place in Cloudsdale and froze not sure what she was seeing. She remained still on the sidewalk scared. She then had images flash into her memory of when Canterlot and ponyville were attacked, all by changelings. "what did they do?" she asked herself softly.

Thunder Dash noticed Shining Star's disappearance and went to look for her. He saw her looking out at all the buildings. "It has come a long way hasn't it? Memories still nagging you?" Thunder Dash asked as he came closer to Shining Star.

 

Meanwhile Storm Rush was reading the newspaper again and Electra Blitz was eating a sandwich he got from somewhere.

Shining star looked down at the ground. "why can't I remember anything before all this? I found out that you and mom adopted me...who was my parents before all this happened. Did they not want me any more?" Shining star asked getting closer to the verge of crying. She moved closer to thunder dash and buried her face in his wing

Thunder Dash laid down and curled with Shining Star. He then thought about how far he came with Shining Star, all of the adventures they had together. He then thought about Chrysalis, when her heart was filled with hatred and vengance. Suddenly it came to him. Shining Star was supposed to be the Princess of the Changelings, but appearently, that wasn't her destiny according to Chrysalis, because of the bond that formed between her and Thunder Dash. "I've got to talk to Chrysalis about this and pronto." He thought to himself. He then looked at Shining Star. "The truth will soon be revealed." Thunder Dash said softly as he carried Shining Star back into the house.

By the time everypony got to the house Shining Star was silently weeping, having had regained all her memories except for who her real parents were. She had even managed to gain the memories from the attacking changelings at the time. She regained her memory of her being put in the cocoon, but when ever she would try to remember who was outside the cocoon, she would only see a black silhouette. She cried softly. "make it stop, make it stop"

Thunder Dash heard Shining Star's cries. He then looked at her with great compassion. He then remembered a memory spell that makes the memories be tucked away in a place where it is very difficult for them to return. 

 

He then said the rhyme to the spell softly

 

"All the pain inside 

Drives one insane

Be gone bad thoughts and memories

So all the torture and sorrow will cease"

 

When he said these words, there was a small flash of light...

The memories disappeared and shining star stopped crying. She looked around confused and looked at Thunder Dash. "Daddy, why was i crying?" She asked Thunder-dash as she hopped down and stretched her wings and her hooves. She then looked up at Thunder-dash.

"Yeah, you were, but all of that pain is gone now." Thunder Dash said. Electra Blitz suddenly came in. "We got a loose storm out in the factory!" He said frantically out of breath. "I'm on it!" Storm Rush suddenly said as he jumped up and flew out to where the storm was. "Let me know if you need any help!" Thunder Dash said as Storm Rush left the house and towards the weather factory.
