OverTheStars 294 April 4 Share April 4 It depends. I like when it has creative concepts and decent writing. If you can find an interesting way to explore dark and creepy topics, I'll usually like it, but it starts to feel a bit boring or played out when it's just endless gore without any reason or plot. "I'm an evil crazy pony who is going to be evil and torture other ponies" might have been interesting the the first few times, but now it just feels repetitive. Do something unique! Like even though a lot of the "infection AUs" started to become popular and more were made, it was cool seeing all the different art styles and everyone's ideas for viruses and infections with different symptoms and results. Crypty Scribbles 5,690 April 4 Share April 4 (edited) I was a big fan of Warhammer 40K. You know it's about endless war in grimdark future. I was... until life around got grimdark itself. Broken lives, unmotivated hatred, pointless massacre. Future is fragile and hope is evasive. It's hard to enjoy such things to let you know. I appreciate and enjoy the innocence, good vibes and fluffiness etc. Definitely not my cup of tea Same here, I watch My Little Pony FIM for the innocence of the show and the character development that comes with learning how relationships work. If I wanted to watch a horror show, it would not be something as whimsical as this. And seeing a beautiful world like Equestria get trashed and turned dystopian because of some bloodthirsty dictator, would be too creepy for me. Rainbow Factory and Little Ms Rarity have to be about the most disturbing fan fictions I know about from MLP so far, unless you're talking about Stockholm one, which from what I hear, is as bad if not worse, they all involve extreme cruelty.
