So recently I started playing an online browser based game called Forge of Empires. It's actually a lot of fun! Think Evony but less "HACK SLASH NEIGHBOR STEEL RESOURCES" kind of thing. If you get attacked they can only take resources from certain places. SO it doesn't put you back much. You can be involved in pvp, but it's a choice.

 

Yeah, even though it's free you can pay for 'diamonds' to up production amounts and research faster, but you don't need it at all.

Well, that sounds alright from the small bits I've read. Do you have to be active very often on it? Like, do I have to visit every few hours, or can I leave it alone for a few days without consequence?

Well you could set productions to every couple days so you don't have to check often.

 

And you wouldn't have to worry about having to check. Like I said, when people attack you they can only take certain resources if they're available. And a person can only attack you every 24 hours. SO it's not like other games where they can just send army after army after army after you.

Oh, right. I hate getting steamrolled by huge armies like that.

 

I started playing, got up to the part in the tutorial where I'm asked to build a pottery. Can't right now, since I blew out all my resources earlier on four spearmen and all the slots to upgrade the barracks. Heh, whoops. I like spears.

Yep, I just accepted it. You don't really need to help me out if you don't want to or don't have the resources, but it's all good if you do. Help is nice. I'll probably be going to sleep right now, but I'll probably play this some more when I wake up tomorrow. Whew, pretty cool game though. Just wish that the fighting animations would go by a bit faster. A lot of walking, you know?
