Derpy + Muffin

Well I guess I'm just fiddling around with Paint tool SAI and just making quick doodles like this, I don't have the attention span to do one project for a day... so I do little ones ^^

I think I'll critique this, if you don't mind, sir/ma'am.

 

The Bad:

• Derpy's head doesn't look like a MLP pony head. It needs to be more circular and round, and her nose needs to be shorter. 
• The grass needs to be one style. Either you make all of it blades of grass (like the top), or you make all of it one solid color like you did on the bottom. 
• The top of the mane is a bit too large. 
• The ears are too long.
• The body is off: the neck is thick, then the rest of the body gets thinner as it moves towards the flank.
• Derpy could do with some shading here and there, though it doesn't really matter, because some people just can't shade/are too lazy to. 

The Good:

• I like her mane. Seriously. Although it's big towards the front, it's nicely shaded and ruffled, like Derpy's. 
• You've got her expression correct. She looks very concentrated on the muffin. Nicely done. 
• The shading on the clouds is detailed and perfect.
• Her legs are good: not too thick and not too thin!
• The wing is just like in the show!
• The grass has a lot of detail, which makes it look more realistic.

Thank you on the Critisism, I really didn't make it look like the show because I drew the sketch in just a few min. ^^ (In hindsight it isn't the best way to go about it.) But the whole look wasn't really supposed to look too canon, just kinda puttin' a new spin on it. 

We'll see where the next sketch goes then

I agree with rainbow dashy most of the time but personaly I think he doesn't look derpy enough if you know what I mean his eyes look to the same direction for example

and thus still looks like a normal pony to me but
He doesn't look bad it's just not derpy in my eyes

Very nice for a quick doodle. The only big thing I notice is that her snout is a little far out, which makes her chin longer. Other than that, everything looks great! Keep drawing and you'll make better proportions in no time.
