Background stories in season 3?

I heard that season 3 will be full of background stories of the lesser characters like Big Macintosh,Zecora and Spike. I also heard the mane 6 will get background stories but i thought the Cutie Mark Chronicles(se.1 ep.23) was their background stories.

I thought we got a basic background for Spike too in the Cutie Mark Chronicles and from what Twi has told everypony. But if this is true, that'd be awesome! I REALLY want background on Zecora and more on Fluttershy. Plus (I don't know if they'll get around to this) but I want to know about AJ's parents. I also want to know where Scootaloo came from. AJ and Rarity are connected to the CMC through Applebloom and Sweetiebelle (respectively) but Scootaloo is kind of a wild card in their midst. She's not related to any of the mane six unless there's some strange long-lost-sibling stuff going on. So yeah...a bit more background for everypony would be sweet

I read the wikia and supposedly Scootaloo is the younger sister of  Cheerilee the School Teacher, though their parents were never mentioned. or at least i havent heard about them

That's from G3 MLP, before FiM where Scootaloo and Cheerilee were main characters and also sisters. Have you ever seen that Newborn Cuties short? Well then, don't, because it's awful and not FiM related anyhow. G4 MLP however, i could see it being plausible. They both do have magenta hair. That would also make Scootaloo related to an Earth Pony, which due to her lack of flying ability, would make sense. 

 

I don't see what Big Mac's background story would be like. I'd like to see a Zecora episode, but I don't see that happening in the near-future. Season 3 seems to be mostly mane-6 focused primarily because there's only 13 episodes.

ok so at first I was all like WHAAAAAT? but then I did some research and I learned that in G3 there is a character named Scootaloo who is an earth pony and she is the younger sister of a unicorn named Cheerilee who was one of the core 7 in G3. I don't think she is still Scootaloo's sister in the current generation though

Haven't herd of this at all. If this is the then this is going to be one hell of a good episode.

 

You know I always wante to know that story of several characters that we see a lot, but never get enough background info on.

 

Also the last episode of season 3 (which is episode 13) has been confirmed to be only 22 minutes long meaning its not a two-parter. Don't believe me look it up, it was on Equestria Daily. This means we have an episode that we have no idea that the story is about. This can open a lot I episode ideas.

I'm not an expert at MLP. I thought that The 80's version and this version were the only 2 MLP shows. I didnt know there were other generations. I thought that Cherilee originally had wings in the first season.
