open Aiicornia: The City of Everfree

"Th-thanks, i think, um, i think you are the first mare i ever got the pleasure to talk." Mortimer blushed, he couldn't quite believe, a mare liked him. He then started to feel things inside him, then, without even thinking it twice, Mortimer kissed Desertrose.

Quickly after he leaned back, he turned red again, he wondered what might she think about this.

 

Uummm, hewwow, is anyone there? The blimp is like hovering in it's place. Lol. We really cannot continue without you @soullessduck because you have the two main characters that control the bonds of the characters. Hope this continues because i like this RP and it's a very good one, wide diversity of characters and that Melbourne one is quite cool.

Ashwing who had fallen asleep in his sleep woke up slowly when they were slowing in speed ¨wha wait where are we¨ he looked around tiredly from the trip being so slow he snapped into energy flying up ¨do anyone know what the clock is?!¨ he asked daff and mel worried.

Melbourne raised an eyebrow. It appeared that sleeping beauty had risen from his slumber.

"Well squire we're just about to land and judging from the suns position I could safely say it's between midday and 3 o'clock. You do look quite flustered, is something amiss?"

Melbourne gave Ashwing a concerned look.

"Don't worry, you can tell me lad. I'm quite the listener."

¨well, i am assinged to a work in Aiicornia as weather patrol and i think i am late now but i think its nice weather as the other two most have done my work but it will be harder next day for me i think since i missed this day¨ He landed looking out to see Aiicornia's beauty.

Mortimer quickly tried to overrun what just had happened. "Look Desertrose, we are just a couple of minutes from landing" he said in awe as he glanced through the window, he was hoping she didn't hate him for that kiss he gave to her. He walked to his seat and grabbed Shadow's cage and took him to the window so he could see the city. He returned the cage to his seat and approached to Desertrose. "Are you ok?" he whispered.

Desertrose could not believe what had just happened, she was confused, what was this feeling? She felt all dizzy and fluttery. She had never kissed anypony before. In fact she had never had somepony even like her! Well, as far as she was aware of anyway. She blinked and looked up to see Mor getting up. She wondered if she had missed him saying something... Her thoughts were interupted by a thump. The blimp jolted a bit. Desertrose squeaked and fell out of her chair. "The blimp has landed! Y'all can get on out now!""  The obnoxious pilot said loudly through the intercom.

 

Daffodil had just gotten all her stuff together when she felt a slight tremor. "Mares and gentlecolts, I am pleased to inform you that the blimp has successfully landed in Aiicornia. Please make your way out of the blimp at this time. Thank you for riding with us." Daffodil ran over to Ashwing. "Oh my go2h! I can't believe it! Are you excited? I'm 2o excited!" She said fluttering up and down excitedly.

¨daff, dont forget that you should be excited about the life not just excitement itself haha¨ he joked with her as he walked to where his house was supposed to be near daffs ¨you coming, you know our houses are near eachother¨ he continued to walk but walked really slow to let daff come.

"Finally!" Mortimer yelled in excitement, "That was one hell of a slow ride!". Mortimer grabbed his bags and Shadow's cage and started to walk outside of the goddamned blimp. He stopped halfway exiting the blimp and turned around, waiting for Desertrose. "Are you ok Desertrose? Do you need any help with your baggages?"

Daf grinned at her friend and followed after him. "Heck ye2 I'm coming! I want to know where you live 2o I can come over!" She giggled and bounded after him. "I wonder who our other neighbor2 are going to be. Wouldn't it be cool if Mel lived near u2?" She slowed her pace to match his now that she had caught up. She looked around the street. It was a very beautiful town, definately the nicest place she had ever lived or visted.

 

Desertrose stood up quickly, hoping Mor hadn't noticed her clumsyness. She quickly put on her saddlebags and grabbed her cactus ad Merp and put them in outer pockets. She heard Mor offer her help with her luggage. "Oh! No, I'm ok thanks." She smiled shyly at him. "Which street is your house on? Mine is on 102 Vitin street." She hoped Mor lived close to her. Well, super close, since there were only three streets in the entire town she new he would have to be within walking distance.

 

(OOC: Starts working on map at super speeds previously unknown to any map maker xD)

Melbourne rose from his seat and collected his rucksack from the overhead baggage compartment. "Finally." He thought to himself. Although the flight had given insight into the ponies he would be living with, Melbourne at the best of times despised social interaction and as a good rule of thumb would rather spend his time in solitude. He noticed that standing at the door of the other blimp was an Alicorn. "Ah that must be the guardian of this little settlement." Melbourne approached him.

"Greetings sir, my name is Atticus M. Melbourne the Third. One can't help but notice that 'twould appear you're what would appear to be an Alicorn. One must assume you are the guardian of Aiicornia, so might I be the first to say it is an honour to meet you sir."

 

Melbourne smiles and raises his hoof to shake Mortimer's.

"I live in Vitin 110, i think, we'll see, i quite don't remember" he said smiling. He then turned around to what seemed elegance in a stallion. Both colts shook their hoofs, "Thank you. I'm the new guardian of this glorious settlement. My name is Mortimer, i hope you enjoy your stay in this place, i'll make it safe for everybody".

Melbourne smiled.

"I've no doubt you will. Now I would love to continue this conversation but I fear I must be off, house to inspect and what not. Oh but I'm sure we will be talking again shortly."

Melbourne waved his hoof farewell and trotted off down town at a swift rate. He noticed  Daffodil and Ashwing up ahead and quickly trotted up beside them.

"Ah hello friends, 'tis this not a fine little village we find our selves in?"

"Farewell, pal" Mortimer said as Melbourne trotted away. He then turned to Desertrose. "Hey, Desertrose, I'll go with you to your house if you want, then i'll walk to mine, a couple of meters away from yours" Mortimer laughed. "What a nice gentleman Melbourne is, no lack of formal language whatsoever."

Desertrose trotted behind Mor. Her heart was still fluttering. "S-so, um Mor, since you um, kissed me, does that mean you're my special somepony now?" She asked quietly.

 

Daf turned and waved to Mel. "Yeah, isn't it nice?" She noticed he was walking in the same direction as her and Ashwing. "Do you live down on Vitin to?" She yelled to him. She stopped walking suddenly and stared behind Mel in shock. Was that, no it couldn't be, how did SHE get here? She shook her head and continued trooting after Ash, she must have been mistaken she told herself.

She shook her head and continued trooting after Ash, she must have been mistaken she told herself.

 

"Maybe, i don't know, what do you think?" Mortimer asked smiling. As they continued walking he asked Desertrose "Hey Desertrose, who is that mare over there? She seems familiar but i can't recall seeing her before, it looks like she knows you" Mortimer asked.

Melbourne nodded.

"When I last checked yes I do live down Viten, not quite sure which number however. Bah it's of little consequence  I had my house built to specific specifications so I doubt I'll have difficulty finding it." 

Melbourne smiled.

"Ah but perhaps we will have the fortune of being neighbours, us three. Oh but would that not be a happy coincidence?"

Desertrose smiled. "Um, well if its ok with you, I would love to be your mare-friend." She blushed and trotted closer to him. She smiled and trotted on for a bit when she heard Mor ask her about somepony. Desertrose looked over curiously just as the other mare was turning away. Desertrose abruptly stopped in her tracks. She knew that pony anywhere. That was Daffodil, her cousin and only friend. Well, she had been her only friend. "Um, yeah, I know her, thats my cousin Daffodil." Desertrose started trotting again. She wondered why Daf hadn't told her she was going on this trip.

"I'll gladly be your colt-friend" he said smiling, he was indeed happy."You talked me about having a friend on the blimp. Do you want to say "Hi" to her and her friend? I already know Melbourne:" Desertrose's face spoke the opposite. "Do as you may please, my dear".

Desertrose smiled sadly. "Yeah, that's Daf, my only friend. She's normally pretty nice but... Um, anyway, I don't know if we should go see her right now... I don't think she was to happy to see me..." Desertrose teared up and looked at the ground. She trotted on dragging her whooves a bit as she walked.

 

Daf grinned and nodded. "Yeah! That would be awe2ome! And it2 actually pretty likely actually." She looked up the street a bit and noticed something. "Oh my go2h! Look! I can 2ee my hou2e!" She said happily, galloping ahead of Ash and Mel.

Its probably missing somepony ;-; "It2 got me and A2h, so we're all good!" Ugh shoosh Daff! Anyway, just let me know who if anypony has been forgotten xD

"Oh, what a pity, then don't let her bother you, let's go". As the two arrived  Desertrose's house, Mortimer waved goodbye and entered his house. It was a beautiful house, complete with a garden in the back and a pool. It was a 2 story house. Mortimer entered and started to put his things in order.

(OOC: xD Nonono! The square that says river is Rivers house! He hasn't posted in a while, or Lily for that matter. Oh my gosh you just made my day xD)

Desertrose waved goodbye to Mor and continued to her house. She went inside and placed her stuff on the table and started to look around. It was a two story house, with a way up to a deck on the top of the roof and a deck on the second floor looking over the sandy garden place. From the rooftop deck she could see the whole town, including a wierd river. She went back downstairs to her room. There was a good sized bed and a HUGE tank for Merp. She went back out to the kitchen and got Merp. SHe went ahead and pu him in his tank. She the put his toys in the tank, and put her cactus in the greenhouse room upstairs. Desertrose then grabbed her pajamas and blanket and pillow, went up to her room, fed Merp, then fell asleep exhausted.

Rocket Blast woke up from his deep sleep on the blimp just in time to jump off and see the new land. he had got on resally early so he could find a comfortable spot in the back to sleep. he thanked the Blimp driver and walked off, he missed his chance to say hi to anypony and started to walk towards a place he could call home.

Mortimer finished putting some order in his house. He then let Shadow fly out of the cage, he had a big space to fly in the garden, and since he was loyal to Mortimer, he won't fly away.

He trotted to the street and he was really tired to guard the city right now so he flew straight up into the air, with the sun behind him and casted a spell that unleashed a purple flash throughout all Aiicornia, it was a protection spell, since he wasn't going to guard yet he decided that a spell could do his job. He then flew to his bed, put his favourite pijamas (which nobody should know about) and went to bed, even though it was still daylight.

as Rocket was walking home he saw a brilliant flash of purple and smiled
"well now I feel safe" he decided it would be best to go home and, well, get more sleep. luckily his name did make the list for new homes and there was a beautiful quaint house made just for him. he walked through the door, made some food, snuggled up in his new bed, and fell asleep again.
