OC Drawing

This is a request drawing I did for mylittlefluttershy of his OC to welcome him here to the forums

 

I tried to make his hair less like Vinyl and more masculine without changing it' s essential shape. I think I did a good job. MLF, if you want anything changed or added, just pm me.

Oh and just another note: the eyes are green because red is my favorite color and green is the complementary color to red so they pop out more and it looks brilliant!

That's a really good oc there, I'm sure there going to love it, the mane looks brilliant green really does the eyes justice, it's just an all round good pic ( and I'm not just saying that ).

This is actually very good. I hope MyLittleFluttershy is happy with it! I'm going to critique it, okay? Hope that doesn't bother you.

 

The Bad:

-The head is too big

-Tail is too small

-Horn is too small

-Ear is too big

-You can only see one ear (you're supposed to see two)

-Flank is not round enough - it looks too flat

 

The Good:

-The hair (you did a good job not making it Vinyl-like, but keeping it in its original shape

-The eyes (I like the detail)

-The shading - I don't know if it's correct or not, because I don't know how you wanted it to look, but I like the way you didn't over-shade the pony

 

All in all, good drawing. I have a question: did you draw it on paper then scan it and digitalize it, or did you draw it on your laptop/computer/tablet?
