She turned to face Crimson. She didn't know about Snowdream but she was willing to give him a chance. "Ok, where do you like to go?" She hoped someplace warm. It was awfully cold outside and she did not favor going back out there. Starshy was also tired and felt like relaxing.

As they made it into his room, Blaze jumped off his back and flew to take a seat on the couch. He trotted past her and made way towards the bathroom. "Relax for a while, we can talk once I'm all cleaned up okay?" He said before leaving to the bathroom.

 

"Sure thing!" she just said and laid down on the couch which was warm and fluffy. She relaxed abit as she heard he water flowing within he bathroom and she thought a bit about this unicorn she saw earlier in he dining hall. He sure was lucky to not have a cutie mark, but he seemed to want one that badly. She sighed and thought again how she got her own mark. The fire tornado she created back then was just like a monster, destroying and burning everything she liked, not controlable and just like a monster. She would like to have an abilitiy that was more useful, or talent she could use for her work. But her cutie mark had nothing to do with her work at all.

 

She rolled over the couch and switched sides. Chocolate sure took his time... or perhaps she was just impatient, and she played a bit with her wings, cleaning the feathers and stretching the muscles. Perhaps Chocolate wanted to do another activity that included to interact with the other guests where trapped within this resort. It would be more fun to know some more ponies. As Chocolate left the bathroom, she lay on her back on the couch and looking at him upside down, her mane ruffled a bit.

Crimson breathed out a sigh of relief when Snowdream agreed to head back to the resort with them. He could see the same look on Starshy's face as they all turned and trotted back through the snow. Crimson decided it would be best to stay quiet the remainder of the trip rather than try to talk to the emotionally distraught mares. It seemed all three of them had lost someone special to them. Maybe what they shared in common could bring them closer together as friends? Much like the cutie mark crusaders he had heard about sometime ago. Once they all arrived back at the resort the unicorn finally worked up the courage to speak to them again. "Would you guys like to hang out or something? I feel like I should make up for what I did to both of you."

"Why not, what they hay! maybe we could all become friends? i mean we all have stuff incommon, we have all been left by our special someponies in this resort!" Snowdream said, answering his question. "Where do you want to go? cause i have absolutly no idea!" she said unhelpfully

Night Song was still fighting back, but then she stopped when she heard Mask. "Mask! Thank goodness you're here!" she said, almost wanting to cry. She then felt the hold around her loosen(I'm assuming Crimson let her go?), so she took that opportunity to break free. She galloped up to Mask and threw her hooves around him.

Mask's ears shot up when Night Song shouted his name and expressed her gratitude. Mask grinned and wallowed in his temporarily boosted ego for a moment. He was about to chime in and explain part of the moral to the lunatic "Yeah, you can't-" Mask was unexpectedly cut off by Night Song's embrace. Mask shared the hug with Night.

"Why not, what they hay! maybe we could all become friends? i mean we all have stuff incommon, we have all been left by our special someponies in this resort!" Snowdream said, answering his question. "Where do you want to go? cause i have absolutly no idea!" she said unhelpfully

 Crimson smiled for the first time since he had been on the resort as the other mares agreed to spend sometime together. He brightened up and kicked his hooves up in excitement. "Alright! How about we go for a sleigh ride? You think they have those around here?" He asked. "I could pull it and..." He could see the disapproving look Starshy had for the idea of going back out into the cold. "...Or maybe we could set up a nice get together for everypony here. I could fix up the main lobby and decorate, somepony else could help make a meal for everypony, and such. What do you guys think?"

 

 

 

 

As Chocolate left the bathroom, she lay on her back on the couch and looking at him upside down, her mane ruffled a bit." 

Chocolate came out of the shower in a cloud of steam and smiled when he saw Blaze looking at him upside down. "Are you ready to go out for a little while? Starshy glanced at Snowdream. It was hard to tell whether she was begin sarcastic or not. She didn't seem to happy about hanging out with Crimson. If she really did not want to, why not say so?

Chocolate came out of the shower in a cloud of steam and smiled when he saw Blaze looking at him upside down. "Are you ready to go out for a little while? I know you've been wanting to stretch your wings." He said still drying his mane off.

 

"Yes, i am ready to go out! I´ll just follow you big guy!" she smiled. Finally the could do something interesting together, perhaps he would introduce her to some new ponies, or he knew a good activity they could do. Or maybe he knew a unicorn who could get him her vision to feel the free flying as she said earlier.

 

 

"...Oh, was there something you wanted to talk about first?"

 

Blaze didn´t expect him to ask further things so she was caught by surprise. "Oh... um... what? Naa... i ... um... i don´t think that i´ll... don´t mind it. It´s nothing important, really." she said, shaking her head. She wasn´t sure what to tell him because he might not understand. She had told him the other day that she didn´t like her cutie mark, but perhaps he had already forgotten about that.

"I didn't think you would her me and come down. Thanks, Mask," she said, almost glowing with relief and love. Then she realized that he was hugging her!

Crimson smiled and his horn started to glow a little as he levitated a couple of flowers and gently placed them into each of the mare's manes. "There, it's not much but this is the first part of my apology. I only hope I can redeem myself and make the other ponies like me as well..." He said thinking about the last thing he had done to them.

 

"Well then, we had better get started! Which one of you two can cook? And who feels better decorating?" He asked looking at the slightly fixed but still damaged lobby.

He said hoping to get her to speak honestly with him. "If this is about that other unicorn you shouldn't think too much about it." He said trying to cheer her up. "You told me that you had gotten your cutie mark as a result of a mishap that endangered those important to you." He said looking down into her eyes. "Sometimes there are things in our past we wish to forget but..." He put his hoof over her and rested his head on hers. "You can't escape your past can you?" He asked sadly.

Starshy felt like crying, when he put a flower in her mane. It would be like something that Storm might have done for her. She suddenly didn't want to start decorating for a party or doing anything. She had to put on a front though, because Crimson may snap at her if he knew the reason. He had already snapped at Snowdream for a similar reason. She could not deal with that again.

 

"I can do the cooking." She said softly.

Chocolate?" she asked, but then the stallion spoke up telling her that she should not think about the unicorn that much and that she got her cutie mark because of a mishap. She sat down and looked a bit depressed on the ground. "No i... i cannot escape my past... I have to look at it everytime a pony tells about his or her cutie mark and it reminds me of the tornado..." she said with a more silent voice. "I wished to have control of this ability but.... i don´t have it. I just want... i don´t know... proud of my cutie mark or... maybe to have something to tell everypony to make them smile if they hear how i got it... But i cannot..." she said, sniveling a bit. She got reminded of these horrible pictures of the nearly unstoppable inferno she created and she dropped some tears. She remained like this for some moments and looked to chocolate. "I don´t want my cutie mark..."

Not willing to wait for an answer, she sped off toward the hotel. Gosh, everything just happened so suddenly! First, I get grabbed by this totally insane pony! Then Mask comes when I called out. Gosh, wonder what's next...

Crimson noticed the two mares had two different reactions to his flower gift, Starshy seemed to visibly stirred by it. Perhaps she was touched by his show of generosity? While Snowdream seemed to enjoy it. As they both agreed to cook and decorate, Crimson smiled and stomped his hooves in excitement. "Alright! This is going to be great, just you guys wait and see!" He said looking over his shoulder and spotting Night Song who was heading to her room. "I'll go get the other ponies and see if they'll come and join us. But I'll be right back once I'm done." He said before galloping after Night song.

He said sitting beside her. "I want to help you in whatever way I can. You may not have control of your powers now but just imagine what will happen when you do." He said letting her lean on him. "Your power could even be the key to getting all the snow outside melted so everypony can leave."

Night Song heard the voice behind and landed on the ground. She didn't recognize the voice, but it oddly sounded familiar. It made her want to run away right now to escape it. She squinted her eyes and tried to look through the snow to locate the source of the call.

Starshy wandered off to start cooking, asking very politely of the waiter she had met before if she could use the kitchen. He agreed, as thanks for helping with Crimson and getting that whole situation under control. If it hadn't been for her and the other ponies, they may still be in that whole mess. 

 

She went into the kitchen of the restaurant, levitating various things and getting a few dishes started. She had to get her mind off Storm, otherwise she was going to end up being the mess instead.

Chocolate listened to her and said nothing, she had brought up many good points but he saw things differently then she did. "Don't say that, Blaze." He said when she admitted to not wanting her cutie mark. He used his large hoof to wipe from under her eyes and made her look up into his face. "It's not like you to be sad like this." He said sitting beside her. "I want to help you in whatever way I can. You may not have control of your powers now but just imagine what will happen when you do." He said letting her lean on him. "Your power could even be the key to getting all the snow outside melted so everypony can leave."

 

"My power to... melt the snow?" she repeated what Chocolate just said. She had so little control to these fiercy flames and she really didn´t know if this was the best decision. After all if the flames got out of control she would endanger many ponies that were living at the ressort now. She didn´t want to be a danger ot anypony, and she didn´t trust her own skills so far to give it a try. "I don´t think... that this would work that easily... I could hurt someponies..." she said to the giant stallion who still blocked her way. Perhaps it would be easier for her to control this thing if she had some magic wielding unicorn that could help her in some way. But because she knew little about wind-based magic, she didn´t know a spell that could help her.
