So the almighty google led me here, as I was looking for a nice MLP community.

 

What to say? Let's just say I'm a brony since quite a time now, I didn't come to it by someone telling me to watch something or by accident it was rather foreseeable as I am somewhat active in the internetz and you know you cannot avoid ponies if you are using google images from time to time, right?

 

So eventually I came across that phenomen and like with all interesting internet phenomens I investigated, was slightly annoyed (me gusta), investigated further, watched the show, liked it, decided to be part of the fandom. Yes right, I decided to become part of it, I didn't just "do it".

Because I think it's a nice thing to be fan of. There is no real negative point against it and most of the traits ponies have or teach in the show are what a lot of humans lack - maybe not love, but tolerance.

 

Enough about my brony story.

 

What I am doing here? Well, talk about the show and meet alot of other bronies. I think it's a good thing to find people who are interested in the same things than you.

 

I wish I could be more original in my avatar choice, but no... I need my creativity elsewhere ^^

also if you have any talents that you can integrate in pony, be sure to post on here, they will all give honest and good  feedback.

If I had a cutie mark it would probably be related to design. I am specialized in that area, not solely by schooling/education but also by talent. That sounds a bit over-confident, but I know I am very good when it comes to designing things so they are:

• Aesthetik
• Easy to use
• Optimized for their purpose
• Without unnecessary bells and whistles

I do indeed have many more talents, but I think that one stands out. I came to that conclusion very recently and I am sure it will shape where my live goes more than most of my conclusions.

Maybe you will see chairs designed by me in the future? Maybe even a show like MLP? Or I could still become a scientist. As much as I wish for a glance into the future - uncertainity can be comforting sometimes.

A fellow lover of design? A brohoof to you, my good sir. I'm not sure exactly how talented I am at it, but I do appreciate good design when I see it. Did you make that cutie mark? It looks very nice.

 

Welcome to the forums. If English isn't your first language, you seem to be quite fluent in it.

No that cutie mark is the offical cutie mark of Spitfire and I chose that because it fulfills it's design purposes. For a cutie mark it's very good. It is simple enough but uses enough complexity to be special and beautiful.

 

A funny fact: As much as I do love design I don't like Rarity that much. I prefer Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy.

 

As far as pony goes my strength lies more in character design. I can create a very well-rounded character, even with cliches, but he/she would still not end up as a stereotype. Fixing other peoples characters if they wish is even easier, a few small changes are mostly enough, even for the most stereotypical characters.
