Star frowned slightly. "I...You suppose ?" She asked, once again taking her head off his shoulder.

She felt slightly unsure if he really did mind or not. *He sounded a little...disappointed...well of course he did.* She thought, feeling slightly worried that she may have upset him. "I really do want too." She said, in a reassuring tone.

 

"I know you do. But you must do what you must do. If you need to stay in Ponyville for a couple more years, that's ok. I mean, I'll be able to handle whatever decision you make."

He smiled at her.

"Well played. Now you just gotta wait for her final decision, assuming she hasn't made it already..."

Star smiled and nuzzled him. "Just give me a while to think on it." She said, smiling. "I'm gonna go grab another drink...do you want anything ?" She asked, standing up and waiting for a reply before she trotted off to the kitchen to grab them both a couple drinks.

"You got one for her, so she must feel that she ought to pay you back... maybe that's another reason why she doesn't want to move into Canterlot..."

Minath saw Rambler walking around, so she walked up next to him "HEY! Star and Nightfall are really hitting it off, huh?." She said. Minath briefly wondered how he would react with her bringing up Nightfall and all. Reservation for Awkward, party of two.

"Yeah, I'm glad he found someone. I mean, after you... I can't help but feel like it was partly my fault, you know? So it's good to see that he's with somepony else now. I think they make a great couple. But nowhere near as great as us." He chuckled at this last part

Minath chuckled, then took a sip of her drink. For some reason, her brain started playing P.L.U.R. By Blood On The Dance Floor. At least this party hadn't become a rave like that band is all about.

Rambler took a pull from his flask and shrugged.

 

"Besides the new lovebirds? I don't know, not a whole lot that I've noticed. You would probably know better than I would."

 

He stood there, not really knowing what else to say. He decided to go with an old standby.

Star nodded and trotted off to grab to drinks. She flew back over to the couch, sat down next to Nightfall and gave him his drink. "Here you go." She said, smiling and sipping her own glass of punch.

Minath still blushed like mad (OOC: I notice i say 'like mad' alot. Random comment) whenever Rambler called her beautiful. She stared at her hoof and spun it in circles, then looked up, and then down again, blushing more at her thoughts. She wanted to say something back, but was pulling a mental blank. Totally social.

Rambler saw her blushing and staring at the ground. He could tell she was really uncomfortable. He tried to think of something he could say to help.

"Well, think about this. I go to Ponyville for only long enough to visit Blaze. I work double shift at work basically everyday, and the people at work is the Guard, who I yell at. I don't really talk to ponies." Minath said. She took a sip of her drink, hoping to look casual but failing miserably.

Rambler couldn't help but chuckle a little at that.

 

"Yeah, I guess that would explain it. But I can assure you, even if the guards don't feel comfortable saying it, they must definitely be thinking it. They'd have to be blind not to realize how amazing you are."

Minath full out laughed at that. "I'm pretty sure they loose all feelings of attration when I open my mouth. I would invite you to watch training one day, but it might scare you." Minath chuckled. Minath yelled with extreme strength, and could take down all of the male guards in combat.

Rambler laughed.

 

"Well, maybe they're afraid to say it, but I think that actually makes you even more attractive. You're not afraid to take charge when you have to, and that carries another sort of attractiveness with it. At least, I think so, but then again, I don't think it's even possible for you to seem any more attractive to me."

 

He chuckled and nuzzled against her neck.

Minath chuckled with him and nuzzled back.

 

"Come with me." Minath said, guiding Rambler to her room, and put on her silver armor she wore, the whole set. It went with her coat nicely, and she put her goggles from her neck to her face.

 

"If I looked like this and started yelling at you, are you sure you would find that attractive?"

Rambler followed her and watched her put on her armor. Maybe it was the alcohol, but he couldn't help but laugh a little bit.

 

"Well, those goggles really bring out your eyes, and you fill out that armor like nopony's business. At the very least, I certainly wouldn't find you any less attractive. I guess I might be biassed, though."

"Very biassed." Minath said, and set about taking off her armor. Thank goodness she had magic, she had no idea how regular pegasi got in and out of these things.

 

"And besides, you know what's underneath. The only times the othe Guards see me without my armor is when I'm staying at my room in the castle." Minath pointed out.

He couldn't help himself and leaned over and kissed her, wrapping his forelegs around her and pulling her close.

He wanted to get closer to her, but he didn't know if she wanted a fast relationship. She had, of course, turned down his suggestion for her to come live with him in Canterlot. But he really did like her a lot.

Star nodded. "Its no problem." She said, sipping her drink, placing it on the table, then curling up next to Nightfall, bringing her hooves off the floor and onto the couch. "So what do you want to do now ?" She asked, nuzzling his arm and looking up into his eyes, smiling.

He hugged her back, holding her, trying not to hold her too tightly.

Then...after a moment, she turned the nuzzle into a kiss...on the lips. But this time she tried something new...she brought her tongue into the kiss, hoping Nightfall wouldn't mind.

He wasn't too surprised when she kissed him, but her straightforwardness did surprise him slightly. But he didn't even want it to end. He didn't mind her tongue dancing around with his, hers taking the lead part. He just closed his eyes and held her tighter.
