Crossbreed, that how the other dragons used to call him I the tribe, felt another disgusting power being used. His eyes opened to the spirit world and one of his feathers of light he catched what was, a few second ago, Shadowheart.

 

“I could crush you in an instant, but I want your master to feel all my rage”. As he was saying, the light form the feather turned into a chain linking Shadowheart to Discord and enabeling his spirit to do a single moove.

“You wanted to feel the power of Discord ? You are now as a spectator as him as a statue, excepted that you’ll remain like this for ever, unable to talk, use magic, or influence him".

 

This action only took an instant, o the guards around him, it seemed that the pony in front of them had just dissolved into a thin wisp of shadow.

Panic gripped what was left of Shadowheart's spirit. That thing had destroyed his link with Discord. He could no longer speak to him, but only experience what he was experiencing. His only hope is that Harmonic would be able to convince the draconequus to free him.

The dark orb erupted, revealing a truly disturbing creature, it appeared to have the shape of a pony, but the skeletons that were pulled in were formed into an exoskeleton, some kind of bone-like armor.

 

"Blasphemy!? Me!? You fool! I've had enough of meddling with you Voyage, I have an appointment with Royalty." He said, smirking. The horn then glowed, and he teleported. His destination was obvious and disturbing.

The teleportation occured in a blink of an eye, but still Crossbreed managed to appear before Harmonic.

 

"You are not A blasphemy, you're the worst insult your sily pony kind has ever done to magic my mother, and in her name I shoul rip your existence of this world, as I rip your bones of your corrupted body".

 

His wings took the shape of a circle, and an unlimited quantity of pure energy began to flow through it, like a reversed black hole, absorbing everything that's evil. And Harmonic was facing it.

The teleportation occured in a blink of an eye, but still Crossbreed managed to appear before Harmonic.

 

"You are not A blasphemy, you're the worst insult your sily pony kind has ever done to magic my mother, and in her name I shoul rip your existence of this world, as I rip your bones of your corrupted body".

"I will not bow before you, filth!" Harmonic said, energy started to flow from his horn. He was not alone, Luna was also shooting energy at Voyage, trying to disrupt him. The hole was sucking the energy in. But it slowly started to glow, the portal was over loading, as was such the only way to close such a portal. Suddenly the portal imploded, sending energy inwards.

 

"Hahaha, Voyage, you tool. You thought you could kill me!? Hahahahaha! You were the only reason I could become this, your energy is MINE!" he shouted.

 

"I should thank you. I couldn't do this without you! You have done the ultimate service to mother Luna." Harmonic said. Luna herself let out a smile at this statement. Harmonic was Luna's champion, the very embodiment of Eternal Night. The last time the Doom-Bringer was summoned, Celestia weilded the Elements of Harmony against them, but even that only held them for one hundred years. The Order's destruction was the only thing that stopped them from coming back.

 

"Voyage, you were always on my side, whether willingly or not." Luna said, she had a grin spread across her face.

 

"Without your magic in the sanctuary Harmonic would be dead right now." She said.

 

"Hey, Doom-Bringer." A voice echoed from behind. Harmonic turned, and saw six mares walk in the room. He smiled.

 

"You rang? Let me guess, more of the tyrant's puppets, no?" Harmonic said.

Shadowheart concentrated. His link with Discord was broken, and he was trapped in the mind of the draconequus until somepony freed him. Then, with glee, he remembered where he was. Discord was looking at the throne, where Celestia was absent. The throne room. Where Mother Luna was bound to return. She would save him.

 

Discord was thinking. That throne was just sitting there, representing that Celestia was higher on the royalty scale than he ever would be, in this version of Equestria. Perhaps that voice, that 'Servant', was speaking the truth. Had he really let himself go like this, just because he was too soft to risk loosing his only friend? But that Servant was a friend. He wasn't in stone anymore. He could feel Equestria, knew that he had the power to turn the entire world upside-down.

 

Shadowheart heard Discord's thoughts inside his head. Everything was going according to plan, although becoming a mere thought was a bit of a setback. Discord would claim his rightful place on the throne, and with Mother Luna by his side, they would be able to defeat Celestia, and the Elements of Harmony.

Harmonic was still waiting for a response. He recognized some of these mares. They all lived in Ponyville.

 

"I know you, the Elements of Harmony, right? How cute." Harmonic said, he was not amused.

 

"Celestia if you were going to surrender you could have just told me that." He said with an over-confident grin.

“My power is yours evil creature, my power is yours corrupted princess.”

He raised his hooves.

“You creature of darkness, take every drop of my shining holy power.

As he said those words, Luna and Harmonic realized their mistakes.

They feel their dark powers turning into light, the power they absorbed was turning every bit of their own power, into the energy they feared the most.

 

 Luna felt into coma, as the evil spirit of nightmare moon was hold back once more.

Fate was less kind with Harmonic. His bone, his skin, his very soul began to burn, the light energy poured from every inch of his body, destroying it from the inside.

 

They were nothing left, not even a pile of dust. Crossbreed assure himself, looked into the physical, spirit and magic world. They were no trace, he was obliterated.

“Killed by his own greed”

As he said this, Crossbreed disapeared.

To the 6 mare's eyes and the princess' one he was never there.

"Just as I expected." the black and sanguine dragon said to himself.

 

"It's all falling into place, one princess is gone. How about the other one?" He said to himself. Niger Draco, or Black Dragon as those who were less well-versed referred to him, smiled to himself. Now that the leader of the Order was dead, no one could stop him. Luna being gone and her order were part of his plan.

 

"Voyage, thank you for lending me your very mind." He snapped his fingers, and Voyage flinched.

 

"I have no further use for you, for now." He mused to himself. Sitting atop his throne in the underworld.

 

"I suppose that Shadowheart will want revenge." he said to himself. He snapped his fingers once more, and Shadowheart's control of his body returned once more. He was himself again. Black Dragon appeared before him quickly.

 

"You know what transpired in your absence? Don't you? The fall of mother Luna, and the Order. At the hands of the Elements of Harmony. A pity really. I can understand your anger," He said, he had a legitimately sorrowful looking face.

 

"I have the means to help you restore the order and kill the Elements of Harmony. You just have to do a little something for me in return."

Shadowheart felt the rush and returned to his body. Before him was standing a huge dragon, that was for the most part jet black besides sanguine scales and ruby-colored eyes. It was truly a site to behold. The dragon made his offer after explaining what had happened.

Shadowheart's mind was in chaos. The Order, Mother Luna, fallen? By those six ponies? They were nothing. But he didn't know what this dragon's angle was. "I've had just about enough of dragons today." he said coolly. "And I already have a plan that I've been working on for months that will kill those ponies and restore The Order. What is your request?"

Shadowheart's mind was in chaos. The Order, Mother Luna, fallen? By those six ponies? They were nothing. But he didn't know what this dragon's angle was. "I've had just about enough of dragons today." he said coolly. "And I already have a plan that I've been working on for months that will kill those ponies and restore The Order. What is your request?"

"You...dispose...of Princess Celestia after you restore the order. After all, she did cause this." The dragon says.

 

"In exchange, I might be able to retrieve your precious mother and leader....and possibly save you. Considering both those ponies now reside with me, in the Underworld." The dragon adds. He could do this but he needed to make sure that the pony would help him first.

 

"And I'll help you kill all of the Elements of Harmony. Deal?"

Shadowheart was not impressed. "You are fully aware that I was going to kill the Tyrant myself. Now, stop telling me lies. What's the catch? You wouldn't do any of that without trying to take the throne yourself, or something at least that drastic. Tell me, who are you?"

"Very well, I am Niger Draco, or Black Dragon to those less familiar. I run the Underworld. I'm old and wise enough to know that you can't face the tyrant without without my help. I just wanted to give you the illusion of choice." He said, musing to himself.

 

"And what do i want? What could I possibly be getting? I just need the Elements Of Harmony to be here in the Underworld with me, it's no cost on your end. Besides, you can't win until they're no longer in the overworld, so why not give them to me?"

Shadowheart stuck out his hoof. "You have yourself a deal. Now, bring back Mother Luna and Harmonic."

 

He would have to remain cautious. This Dragon seemed to be the leader of the underworld, but why would he want the Elements of Harmony down there with him?

"Alright then," The dragon extended his hand and shook the hoof firmly.

 

The Dragon stepped back, and a ring of fire formed, opening a portal. The Underworld was visible, it was the most horrifying sight one could behold, even a necromancer has not seen anything so foul. Suddenly out of the portal, Harmonic and Luna were shot out. They both stood up.

 

"Brother Shadowheart, what has happened? How did you free mother and I?" Harmonic said. He truly thought he was dead the moment Voyage vanquished him.

 

Luna simply looked distraught.

 

"Now you are indebted to me. I'll be back in ten days, by then, I expect my repayment." The dragon said. He flew through the portal, and it closed behind him.

The wielders of the Elements of Harmony had never made it to the center, where he knew the entrance to the Sanctuary was located. His horn glowing, he teleported to the corridor right next to the middle. Prying at the brambles and creating a small hole to look through, he saw a strange purple force-field surrounding the ancient gate.

 

He activated the communication spell. "The captain of the royal guard has cast one of his protection spells around the sanctuary. We must eliminate Shining Armor."

 Shadowheart nodded, and teleported away. He appeared in the Canterlot gardens. Removing his cloak to remain more inconspicuous, he trotted casually to the hedge maze. The wielders of the Elements of Harmony had never made it to the center, where he knew the entrance to the Sanctuary was located. His horn glowing, he teleported to the corridor right next to the middle. "Very well, the grief from losing a brother will make it harder for the Purple Unicorn to fight back, I'm sure of it." Harmonic communicated back. He was fairly confident with his plan. He was slightly disheartened that the sanctuary would take a bit longer to get up and running but enough to cause him any reluctance.

Jack looked around and saw nothing suspicious. I guess i will have to try again some other day. He thought to himself as he started putting his things back into his sack. He then decided he would set up camp at a different spot and try again later.

Shadowheart took a deep breath and concentrated. He would need a lot of power to break through that frocefield. He summoned all of the shadows around him, circled them around him once, and sent a bolt of concentrated shadow straight at the forcefied.
