Bronies = cancer of the internet?

When someone refers to something as cancer, I doubt they're meaning it in a way that's good or that makes us sound good. Instead, they're pretty much saying that certain thing is a sickly, disgusting, deathly thing, which the Brony community certainly is not. I understand their viewpoints to an extent, the thought of grown people liking a show targeted for children may be foreign, but comparing the fans of the show to something as drastic and somber as cancer is just plain wrong.

Before i became a brony, and knew in depth about this great community, I thought brony posts and stuff like that were annoying. So i can sympathize.
