What's up everypony?

 

     My name's Alex, I'm a 22 year old college student from the US. I actually got into MLP about a year ago and was kind of a closet brony until recently so I decided that I needed to finally be an actual part of the community rather than sitting on the sidelines, better feel included in something right? So yeah I'm here because from everything I've heard there's a pretty great community here which souds pretty awesome to me. I'm hoping to make some friends I can relate to about this part of my life since all of my friends I currently have are kind of...well anti-MLP is putting it too strongly but something similar lol, kind of difficult to express that side of myself around them (they make fun of my Derpy hoodie...something's wrong with them because Derpy's awesome) needless to say some people aren't exactly accepting of bronies. So I'm looking forward to hearing from you and I hope to make some great friends!

Hmm, a good chunk of my friends are anti-mlp. One of them actually drew RD being decapitated by a Care Bear for my birthday...

Though, they actually don't bother me much. Well, not in anyway that actually bothers me. And I'm pretty open about it around them. Ok, very open.

 

Derpy hoodie? I'm so jelly of you right now. I'd LOVE to have a Derpy hoodie! She's best pony, btw. (Tied with AJ, of course.) ;3

 

I'm sure you'll be able to make a lot of friends here while your out and about in the main forums. Just be yourself! Though, you won't see me out there too much. I can always be found in the local General Chat Thread though.

Decapitating Dash, that's just cruel lol. But if I had to place a bet between Dash and a carebear for who would win that fight I'd say the Dash for sure lol.  My friends don't usually bother me too much, aside from my friend Justin....serious hater there. :/ Guess I'm gonna have to get used to dealing with haters sometimes. Lol I agree with you about Derpy though, she's awesome. Definitely my favorite pony. I love my hoodie so I'm gonna keep wearing it when with them no matter what my friends say.    I was actually planning on ordering another one but I'm having trouble picking...it was hard to pick one out of them last time, so many awesome clothes. I don't doubt I'll make some friends, everyone has made me feel really welcome and it's kind of nice to be able to be myself without worrying about being ridiculed, it's still gonna take me some time to come out of my shell though.    I actually want to thank everyone for being so awesome lol.

Hmmm, I think he should come around and at least become neutral eventually. Mine that don't care for it eventually just started slowing down in messing with me about it unless I just brought it up myself.

Yeah he'll most likely come around, he's kinda iffy about it. I think he's worried what people will think like I was at first but you get to a point where you don't really care what people think and express yourself however you'd like. Yeah my friends generally aren't too bad about messing with me, at lest most don't, except for when I wear pony clothes lol. 

 

I order them from a site called redbubble.com that has some pretty good stuff on it, it's hard to choose what to buy sometimes lol.

 

So far I've had a great experience talking to everyone on here, the more I post the more convinced I am that this is a great place full of great people.

 

As for hobbies, well I can play some instruments, I can paint, umm the only animation I can do would be a stick figure flip book lol, I like gaming, movies and the like, reading, and I have no clue what Hardcore Dragon bayonet jousting is but I suddenly want nothing more than to do it O.O lol. I'm voting that best sport ever made, once we start doing that we won't need any other sports, it'll probably solve world hunger or something.
