  1. Hmm. For someone who had no idea this had been leaked until this morning I kinda figured it all out right away. Thankfully it was quite enjoyable for the Scooby Doo homage it was, because some of the writing was a bit off. Though I may have to watch it again later. Sometimes the hype messes it up for me. That may be the first time I enjoyed Angel's attitude, though.
  2. Yup. It was a bit horsier than I would expect.
  3. I've been coming up with all sorts of ponies lately and I decided I wanted one that loves space. When I was younger I always wanted to lean to paint nebulae and galaxies and while remembering that Nova was created.
  4. It's been my experience that Netflix never gets any of it's suggestions correct. They don't have most of their movies categorized properly and some of the descriptions are so horribly incorrect I don't think that they've even heard of the show/movie prior to writing the description. I usually just laugh at it.
  5. Did you figure it out? You might need to open the picture in a paint program and save it as a jpeg. Perhaps it doesn't like png files.
  6. In the pony creator just find a picture of what you want and upload it into the program. You can also just not add it to the picture and just describe it in the profile.
  7. I would be happy to help. I've been wanting a pony project.
  8. YAY!!!! Thank you so much, They're awesome! (Sorry for the late reply, my internet was out for a few days. Mediacom must be the worst internet provider ever.)
  9. Wonderful! I don't suppose I could get an image of them in those costumes? I'm quite fond of both MLP and Mario. Amusing that I didn't even realize I made Fluttershy Yoshi when they are both my favorites.
  10. Welcome! SugarBlast, hmmmm, that sounds like my kind of pony. *eyes stash of pixie stix, tootsie rolls, cotton candy, skittles, and starbursts* Not sure why, though.
  11. Welcome!!! We're very happy to have you here! I'm sure we'd love to be guinea pigs for your first pony related tune
  12. That is BEAUTIFUL! Bonus points for it being Fluttershy I was thinking of doing the elements of harmony though I suppose I'd be spending the majority of my pumpkin budget on that. I'm nowhere near as good as you, though. I haven't gotten the hang of shaving it for the extra detail. Amazing work!
  13. Rarity as Princess Peach and Spike as Mario. Fluttershy as Yoshi Rainbow Dash as an invincibility Star (Super Star) Applejack as a Fire Flower Pinkie a 1-Up Mushroom Twilight as Toadsworth Bonus: Opal as a Goomba
  14. *offers curry of life*

  15. Actually, after reading this thread I'm fairly intrigued to know what everyone here thinks of the term "cold war". I assume Fluttershy wouldn't care because most of the animals would be hibernating so they'd be safe. (Because I'm pretty sure most of them would take the word "cold" literally). I must admit that ice cream was my first thought, too. Pinkie would be all over that.
  16. Hahaha, yeah, it usually does start out slow. I usually set the time back 1 week before creating my town so I can get all that out of the way before I start playing appropriately. I know, I'm bad, but I hate starting out with nothing. It is, however, wonderful!
  17. Yeah, I can't exactly see how someone can critique art by saying it isn't a particular style. I think it's really good. I wouldn't have known that it was her turning evil if you hadn't said but it is obviously full of emotion. My only critique is that it seems SLIGHTLY off balance. I don't know if it's because the white touches the edge on the right side so putting it on a white background (post background) makes it feel like there is more white space than their actually is, or what. Otherwise It's beautiful.
  18. I enjoy the bowls now and then, though most of the nong shim have beef fat in them so once I went veggie I had to find something else. I get Sapporo Ichiban. I often get the Miso flavor of the brick type, and the soy sauce flavor of the bowl type. With those I cook them precisely as instructed on the package. When I get Top Ramen (either oriental or chili) I often microwave them. Just put the noodles in a ziplock bowl, add water, nuke, add seasoning packet, enjoy. I also get a "chow mein" style where you take two cups of water and boil the noodles but let them soak up the water. Then toss them on a plate, add seasoning packet and seawead packet and enjoy! I have a variety of chopsticks and fancy bowls but I am no stranger to the ziplock bowl and plastic fork as well. I have a recipe for home made ramen I want to try at some point.
  19. Do you have migraines? I do and I've had a headache for 5 days now. When I was 16 I had multiple migraines over a short period of time which caused a "vascular spasm" in my left eye. Basically the blood flow was cut off to my eyelid and I couldn't open it. They thought I had a stroke and I had to stay in the hospital for the first time ever. So, yeah, I feel your pain. Mine is finding out that a candy I like is made with some sort of animal biproduct and I can no longer eat it (I'm a vegetarian.) Also, when my parents or customers eat a really good ice cream in front of me knowing full well that I have a whey protein allergy and can't have any. I miss ice cream so bad! It's my favorite food! I have my own set of words I tend to use in place of swear words, sometimes without realizing it. Fluffernutters-pretty much any possible "f" word variation. Frijoles - (same thing) Criminetly - (no idea how to spell this, got it off Robin Hood when I was a kid).(Takes the place of the S word most often. I had been saying "crap" and I guess it evolved from there.) Dag nabbit. (I'm sure you can figure that one out). Con sarnit (same thing) And I've started saying "bloody hell" though I have no idea why. I didn't even realize I was doing it until my brother pointed it out. I've got no problem with swearing and I believe it helps in certain situations, but typically it just makes a person look stupid and lazy. There are so many words out there that picking the swear words to use all the time seems like a cop out.
  20. Thank you, I wont sleep tonight. I hate them all but there is a clown or two i can tollerate, and "dummy" kinds seems vague to me. I had to go with wax figure. Those things freak me out, they are too realistic. I have always been afraid of non-human things that resemble humans. I suppose it's because my brothers told me that things like that come to life and eat you at night. I still remember falling asleep staring at my barbie dolls. I'd close my eyes and think "Oh no, they're going to get me!" So I'd open my eyes really fast and try to tell if any of them had moved. Take a clown and a doll and mix them together and you probably have one of the scariest things I can think of. I saw poltergeist when I was little. Fast forward to when I was 9 and my stepmother bought my little brother a clown doll. It was musical and when the music played it would rock it's head in a circle like a person trying to get a crick out of their neck. I hated it so much. I used to hide it and throw it into places where I figured it "couldn't get out" and she'd find it and set it up on top of the TV again. *shiver* Ventrilloquist dummies (I just realized that's probably what you meant, so I should have picked that) and Marianettes are pretty high on my list too. Pinochio was not a fun movie for me. Oh crud. Now I'm thinking about clown wax figurines and clown marrianettes.
  21. This, exactly. I only know a little Japanese but I know enough to realize the subs are simplistic and not always accurate. To a fluent japanese speaker I'm sure they are just as epic as the english ones are to us. Also, I love both of them and I think the voices they chose are PERFECT. Are you judging that based on the way it sounded or the translation? I thought it sounded perfect. I'll agree the translation doesn't flow as well, but the Japanese aren't going to be seeing the subs.
  22. It (and the white version) say things like "My hair is beautiful!" and "I love it when you brush my hair!" "My barrettes are pretty!" "Flying is fun!" It is so bad that I just told my mother, who doesn't watch the show, and her eyes bugged out of her head. I said, "Here they have this wonderful Dumbledore like character teaching wonderful lessons and her toy says "My hair is beautiful". *imagines Dumbledore doll saying "brush my fluffy white beard"* ...
  23. But....flying IS so much fun! Ugggg.... It's like on the Simpsons where the Malibu Stacy doll says, "Don't ask me, I'm just a girl! *stupid giggle*" They might not be putting it quite so plain, but they seriously aren't trying very hard not to. You know, I also find it sad when there are so few decent versios of the Malibu Stacy episode on You Tube. Mlibu Stacy For a little background for those too young to remember, back in 1992 Matel released a talking Barbie. That's what the Simpson's episode is a reference to. The Barbie doll said "Math class is tough". Considering the stereotype of girls being bad at math, and how so many women are pushed away from academics due to such stereotypes and being taught that science and math are for boys it's understandable that people were outraged. My concern is that they only seem to care about the obvious phrases. I doubt the majority of parents who don't watch the show would even notice or care. (though to be fair I just told my mom about it and her eyes about bugged out of her head, lol.) It's these little phrases that no one pays attention to that sets our girls back, makes them think it's more important to be pretty than to be smart, and that worrying about hair and makeup is more important than homework. Celestia has so many wonderful lessons to teach our girls. Every parent should be outraged by this, not just those of us who like FiM ourselves.
  24. The discussion of the Pink Celestia toy and what both versions of the toy say when their voice feature is activated got me thinking. Like Lisa Simpson in Lisa vs. Malibu Stacy, I think it would be a good idea to come up with more appropriate and true to character phrases for Celestia to say. Sure, we can't run out and make our own talking Celestia, but it would still be fun to think of more appropriate phrases. Myself, I would love a few simple quotes like "Would you accept my friendship?" or "You have a very special gift." I want to think of some others but I'm sure everyone here will have some great ones.
