So I made a couple of MLP - Sleipnir Mashups, and I need opinions.

So I did a couple of Sleipnir-MLP mashups...

  1. 1. Would you buy a tee shirt with either of these designs on (for $10) ?

Constructive criticism on either picture will be taken into account, either as art or as tee designs. I am always willing to learn and improve, and I am certainly not an expert.

I'm trying to work as a designer for various tee-shirt companies on the internet - you know, the ones that do one shirt for $10 (or thereabouts) for 24 hours only. Only one shirt can be printed, and I've had positive reactions about both, so I'm leaving this up to the brony communities, since if anyone would actually buy them it's you guys - would you wear either of these on a tee-shirt?

What do you think?

Bother, I've posted this in the wrong place (curse you tabbed browsing!)

Reposted in the right place, now how do I delete this one?

The ponyfied one, for sure. After all, you still have "My Little... " in the title. To have a regular Sleipnir doesn't make much sense. Plus it doesn't look as good over all.

Haha, ol' Slippy!  I love it when Norse mythology and MLP collide!

Both designs are hella fantastic.  The shading and lighting is very well done, and it feels natural, especially in the mane of the realistic version.  I like that you incorporated some of that yellow to accent the design, but you didn't do that with the ponified version.  Why's that?  I think it is a good addition.

If anything, my only real gripe (if you can even call it that) is the mouth of the ponified version seems a bit too off.  Perhaps a single curved line instead of the mouth being slightly open?  Either way, the whole piece is wonderful, and it's definitely something to be proud of!  Good job!

Thanks! I can't actually remember why I didn't accent the pony version, probably something about attempting to stick with the flatter show style.

I will try shutting the mouth, as you can probably guess I took a few shortcuts of drawing things the way that was easier after trying the normal look and it coming out supremely derpy. The other example is the realistic one's eyes.
