"That's not good," murmured Maven under her breath. She crawled over to some of the wounded ponies and sang softly in their ears, trying to heal them up as best as she could. She couldn't heal every little scratch on everypony- she had to spread her energy around to all of the ponies, but she tried to make it so they could be moved, or at least wouldn't die.

 

Nightfall helped relocate a few ponies so that they wouldn't suffer from taking in too much smoke. He couldn't help but feel that he wasn't doing enough. He tried a few spells to clear the smoke, and it worked to a degree, meaning that some of the smoke was gone. He tried harder, but felt like he was losing energy fast. He cursed the pony who had done this under his breath.
