Dox could tell she was tired. He moved and put her onto his back, letting her lie down on him. "Are you comfortable?" He asked, slowly walking so he didn't accidentally bump and hurt her. He smiled, feeling warm as she laid there on his back. He continued on to camp.

Electro Dash climbed into her tent to get a feel of it. She always got a tent one larger than she ever needed, simply for that little bit of space, and she believed a 2 pony tent was an average size for such a camping trip. So it felt wierd having a tent for 3 ponies when there would only be her. She went back to Gears.

"hey. How is he coming along?" she looked at the robot.

Gears looked over to her and quickly shook the ash off and reattached the goggles to his hat. He smiled.

Dashie looked at him, a little concerned. "Bleeding? Where are you bleeding? Is it bad?" She began checking him for any major wounds until she realised how over-protective shevwas being and began to blush. "sorry" She gave him a kiss before hearing the robot talk. "it thinks... I'm his mother?" She whisperd to Gears. "what do I say i mean are you ok with this?"

Gears smiled, and then looked over to Dolan.

"That's strange. That never happened with Rhonda. Well, I suppose if its anything like Rhonda, it won't ever stop calling you mother. But, just react however you wish."

Gears kissed her again, and Dolan turned his head to the side.

Dashie looked back at the robot before making her desicion. "Now now sweetie! You do not call anypony an "it", even a robot. Robots have feelings too after all!" She went over to the robot. "Hello! Shade smiled, " yes, I'm fine" she said, she practically fell asleep on doxes back... But she coudent get that changeling out of her mind... She dreamed about it, why would a changeling be under the ruens? Why was it away from its pack? Shade was full of questions, but lost them in sleep.

Dox smiled as she fell asleep, her breath tickling the hairs on the back of his neck. He continued on for a while, coming to a little stream. He gently laid Shade on a comfortable section of ground, then proceeded to get a drink from the stream. He wiped his mouth and laid next to Shade.

Shade opened her eyes to the sound of water, it was soothing. She looked at dox and smiled. She closes her eyes and laid her head back down... "I love you" she said.

 

Shade thought that she shoudent have said that, but she was too tired to care. She felt like she could do anything with dox... Anything! And it made her feel good.

Dox smiled. "I love you, too, sugarcube." He winked at her, then gave her a loving kiss on the forehead. He snuggled in close and started drifting off to sleep, sighing happily as he did. "You make me so happy, Shade..." He finally started to sleep and gently snore.

Dolan stared at her. It looked her up and down and soon grabbed her and hugged her.

Dolan stared at her. It looked her up and down and soon grabbed her and hugged her.

Next morning, shade woke up beside dox, she felt full of love, and it was one strange feeling to her, it was new... And she had never felt it before.

 

She kisses dox and, "you awake yet?" She said very quietly. She didnt want to wake him, she just wanted to see if he was awake, if not she would just lie beside him untill he wakes up.

Paradox was still asleep in his dreamland, dreaming of all the adventures he could have with Shade, like sailing the seas, or exploring caves, or having her turn into somepony else and pranking everypony, or just being together forever. He smiled, not wanting to wake up just yet.

She had no real idea as to what she should say. She didnt want him to feel too dissapointed yet this was pushing things. In the end she just began to whimper slightly. "I love you..."

He was a bit irritated that she had changed th subject, but rather grateful at the same time.

She stayed like this for a few minuted before making a desision. "You know what? Yes!" she jumped up and hugged him. "I am TOTALLY OK with this! But, not right now cause its still early noon. We have at least a few hours."

Dashie pulled away to tilt her head and look at him. "umm. No. No i don't. There isn't enough time to explore a cave. And there isn't really anything to do so... Oh well! See you tonight "sugar pie" She began to giggle as she headed to her own tent.

Gears smiled as she walked away, but it dawned upon him that he had absolutely no idea what he was doing. His smiled dropped and he started to panic.

Gears gulped and walked over to her tent. He "knocked" on her tent entrance.
