Your mom says "COFEE IZ BAYD FER YOUOU MANG" because the caffeine inside of it can be addicting if you drink too much. Still, the ooccasional cup of coffee for the caffeine rush is nice. (caffeine is actually a drug, like weed and cocaine. Just more common, and not as unhealthy. It gets you high, but people are too damn attatched to it to realize it) If you put milk, sugar, and maybe some coffee creamer in it, it's delicious. Still has the aftertaste (I don't mind the aftertaste, as long as it's a sharp kinda taste instead of the dull, stale one it gives off sometimes) though.

Most forums use BBC instead of HTML because using HTML makes it easier to have large scripts and unwanted data packaging on a forum post. Unless a forum is entirely text-based (like Gamefaqs, for example) a malicious user or bot can create HTML that points people to a virus. That's what I've heard at least. I'm a programmer but don't much work with HTML. I work more in the backend side.

 

BBC is typed out relatively the same as HTML, though it doesn't necessarily have all the same functions and it depends on what code is enabled in the website, but it's defined with brackets [ ] as opposed to greater than or less than < >

 

So [ i. ] [ /. i ] is the same as <i></i> just take out the spaces and periods.

 

As for caffeine, it's just as harmful to drink a bunch of soda as it is to drink coffee. You have to mediate or you become addicted. And by "addicted" that doesn't mean "OMG I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT IT" necessarily so much as your body will go into withdrawals without it. I've known people who drink soda every hour of every day to stop themselves from having headaches. Those headaches are a clear sign that your body is addicted to it. Try cutting yourself off from caffeine for a few days and if you start getting headaches or extremely tired you've probably developed a slight addiction to the caffeine and/or sugar in it.

 

You'll see me most often posting in the Media board in the Everfree Forest section of the board since I'm a gamer above anything else. Right now I'm working as an intern at a small company named Loopfuse (you won't have heard of it unless you are a small enterprise business) as a web developer. I work mainly in the Python programming language but also work with SQL (using MySQL platform) some Java as well. (Note there is a difference between Java and Javascript)

 

I became a brony just before the beginning of season 2. I am a bit quirky so I never actually hated the show or the people in it but when I was introduced to it I wasn't sure if I'd like it or not. Sure enough as soon as I watched it I fell in love. I don't think there's a single episode I don't like. Season 3's finale really felt like they should have put it into a movie or something with the way it was presented but overall I felt they put a lot of work into it.

You got alot of text in there. O_O But anhway. I think I know how to us BBC. ^-^ I'm not really much of a coding person, but I usually know the basics to stuff. The forum website in which I usually participate in uses HTML though, so I thought the MLP forums would too. XD Oh well. I'm sorry if I'm not writing big text like you. I'm not a very good person when it comes to big text. My friend sent me an email once of why she thought I as her best friend and I just kind of told her that I loved her too, and how I'm not good at talking formally and formality is my enemy. :I So excuse me, while I try my best to use formal language but fail. -_-

 

And meh, I'm not addicted to soda or coffee. I like soda on those certain days where it's really hot, or those days when we have pizza and pizza is really nice with cola. But on normal days, it's usually just water. My mother asks me if I want some cola and I'm like.. "I don't really feel like cola.".. And whenever I do drink cola I'll have to drink another, like, five cups. Is that bad? XD I think so.

 

I'm a gmer too, but since my brother hogs the computer all the time, I can't really play. TF2 is fun, but people would call me a newb because like.. -coughcough- I started just yesterday. So I'm probably really bad at it. -.- Actually, I am bad at it. I'm more of a Minecrafter. You know, all the Minecraft stuff? My favourite Minecraft youtuber/s is the Yogscast. The BlueXephos channel, cause' they're just so dayum funny. >.< Anyway, I'm sorry if I bore you or think I'm annoying by claiming to be a gamer. =_= And no, I have not heard of that company. XD

 

I just recently became a brony. I actually never really minded My Little Pony because it never airs in Australia, so I just never had a thought about it. Maybe before that, my 23 year old cousin would make my baby brother watch My Little Pony FiM, and I think I made a little reminder to watch it because it was cute, but just forgot.

 

Last year, since we have iPad's in our class, my classmate he downloaded MLP FiM episodes and kept watching it in the middle of the class with earphones in, totally not listening. So I just decided to watch from then on. The first time I watched it I was so weirded out like.. "Oh my gosh. Why am I watching this? I could be watching anime. I could be doing something totally better with my life." And a few episodes later I fell in love with the show. XD

 

I think I may have actually been a brony before that because I had a bunch of MLP Toys, but I'm not sure what generation it was. :S I vowed myself to find them, but got lazy. Lol. But I think I was more of a Care Bears person back then, then a My Little Pony girl. :I I even collected all the volumes of Care Bears. -facehoof- But this isn't a Care Bears forum. XD

 

Season 3's finale felt like five minutes. :/ I think the reason why it felt so compressed because there was so much songs in the one episode. And I feel like they could have made it into a two part episode if they showed how they got their cutie marks back. Like, how Pinkie Pie was about to lose the Apple Farm, they could have made that into a plot. RD taking care of animals, Flutters trying to make people laugh, AJ trying to make dresses, Rarity trying to control weather. I think they could have all made that longer too.

I am of the opinion that one should never skimp on how much they type just because they think others won't wanna read it. I'm big on grammar, though I'm only a Grammar Nazi towards myself, and I refuse to "tl;dr" anyone. If you don't wanna take the time to read what I said then too bad for you, there is no shorter version.

 

Everyone's a gamer as long as they consider themselves one so don't worry about what defines a gamer. I tend to be more of the RPG type of gamer but I play most anything. Never played Minecraft though.

 

Seems you unwittingly ended up typing as much as I did though. I have that effect on people.

 

I liked all of the songs in the finale myself but they definitely tried to cram too much into one episode. Definitely would have been better as a movie. Normally I'd go with two-parter but the way the episode was presented it had more of a movie feel to me.

I play a few RPG games, I played WoW for a day and oathed to play it more with my best friend. After that day, we never touched WoW again. I can't play LoL either because the computer I have is a mac. -.- Stupid macs. Be compatible with games, dammit. Minecraft is practically legos but in first person, and in surviving through the world. (But if you're in creative mode thats a bit different) There,s a bunch of Mods and Adventure Maps. I would play FPS games but I only have a bunch of broken nintendos, a Play Station 2 and a Wii. I wish I could trade my PS2 for a PS3. :/

 

I loved all the songs in the last episode as well, and I had 'A friend in need' stuck in my head for two days as well as the 'Cutie mark switch' song. 'Good morning ponyville' I had to keep whistling the tune of and that 'Why' song that Twilight sans that lasted for like 30 songs was supremely sad. :/ The colours were all dull and stuff. I think it should have been a two parter as well. But whatever Hasbro, play it your way. XD

Allow me to point out two things like the a-hole that I am.

-On your profile you say "matureness" and aren't sure if that's a word but maturity is the right word.

 

As a fellow grammarian I felt the need to point that out. Feel free to pigeonhole my post in response, I'm not perfect and have issues with punctuation usually.

They don't produce them anymore and the PS3 that can play PS2 games stopped being made years ago and if you want any decent size in your HDD you'd be getting the non-PS2 compatible ones. Besides, there's FPS' to be had on the PS2 such as Timesplitters!

 

I really think the "Why" song was like....radio material. It wasn't just a showstopping number, it really had emotion and feeling to it. There was so much quality in the music of that episode.

Hello! I know, I love Pinkamena too. 8DI I spam my other online brony friends with ERMERGER. I HAVE CUPCAKES. I bought them from a Pinkamena Diane Pie. And their all like.. uhhhh.. no thanks. XD Everyone doesn't like her and thinks she's a creeper das a nice everything you have there, be a shame if something were to happen to it creepy. But I think she's pretty. :3 I started influencing some of them with my Pinkamena-ness. Meh? I have this thing for grammar too. But some typos happen, so meh. You also didn't capitalize your I's. And grammar nazi shouldn't be in capital letters. >.< I write too much emoticons, so sometimes the forums blocks me from typing them. T.T

Lol, sometimes I play MMO's as well and it's always really lonely and everypony is in their guilds, and with their mates to hang out with and I'm just frolicking doing quests like the loner I am. So yeah, MMO's do get boring sometimes because of lack of people to play with. -.- Minecraft is nice, but it kind of gets boring when playing alone. Frustrations get held out when a creeper explodes your house, and if you do get someone to play with, it kind of takes a really long time to get on a lonesome server. :/ The other servers are usually full or have so much people it lags so much. And you dont really need to 'make a level' in Minecraft, you could vent out on adventure maps and mini games like the survival games and the walls. But meh, you don't need to.

 

O.O Okay, I shall keep my PS2 then. Really? I thought PS3's could play PS2 games, because my PS2 can play PS1 games. And alright, I shall keep that game in mind. ^3^ Lol, I feel like this paragraph I made is too short. O_o Oh, yeah.. and everybody that has PS3's make fun of me because I have a PS2. :/ Well, actually, they made fun of my friend who had a PS2 and I was just like.. "I have a PS2." while interrupting their conversation. Yeah, I don't think they heard me. But one of my hacker friends said there's this disk at this place that's like a two hour drive away that can play PS3 games on PS2 and I was like.. nah brah. Not possible. O_o But it's like the illegal market of the century so meh, maybe.

 

I know. It was a really sad song, and it looked so much more depressing because they made the colours all grey and dull, and her body language was all upsetting, and even Spike looked a little bit sad. I loved all the songs there. :3 And Princess Celestia sang too. ^-^

The PS3 could play PS2 games when it first launched but in later models they took that out and now put a few (see: very few) PS2 games on Playstation Network. There's some good ones like Odin Sphere, Maximo and Persona 3 FES though so even if it doesn't have some of the bigger games (Final Fantasy X is getting a remake and it's taking them forever to finish it lol) it's got a decent collection.

 

Honestly? Don't let it bother you that people make fun of your for not owning a PS3. Most real gamers would say the PS2 is the only console anyone will ever need because it literally has more games on it than any other console. (Sans maybe the NES)

 

It also has an amazing library of many different genres. There isn't a genre that can't be found on PS2 I don't think (that didn't only surface in the last couple years like Tower Defense games such as Plants vs. Zombies)

 

Right now I'm playing Wild Arms 3 because I'm a huge Wild Arms fan and didn't have a PS2 until a few years ago so I missed out on everything after the second game which was the last on PS1.

 

The Playstation 4 that was just announced MAY play PS1, 2 and 3 games but I'm still unsure of the details and most people don't seem to have confidence in it being very good.

 

If Minecraft isn't just about the creation than I may give it a shot but it's not high on my list. I'm an RPG gamer, tried and true. There is no other genre that gives me the feelgoods as much as RPGs.
