Hey Guys, so it took me a while to get this out there because I have had music block for about a month.

This song is an interesting attempt to remix a country/folk song as a hardcore techno thing. Honestly it doesn't work too well for me, especially all the tone changes in the samples. If you maintained the original melody I think I would like it better, but this isn't something I'd go back to a lot.

 

However it is very technically sound and well composed. Even if it's not my thing it's a good final product nonetheless.

 

BTW, I know about you through Jastrian. xD   Great musician. We're interviewing him on our show tomorrow night.

Well you definitely did something different with it. In some ways i do like the retro elements (the drums and the effects on the vocals) but it just didn't seem to go far enough and carry a lot of energy that it could have gone for.  It ends up being an interesting fusion of styles but i wish it just gelled a bit better.  Sorry about the music block mate, although congrats on the 1000 subs! You are officially now a pegasus.

Thanks for the tips guys, I do agree it isn't a very good song by me, but was an expirement to get me out of my block.

 

My newest song represents my style alot better.
