gaming The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

So I had never heard of The Witcher series until today when I was looking at the new issue of gameinformer earlier today. What drew me in was the super detailed pictures/screenshots/concept drawings that kind of reminded me of Skyrim. I haven't really read the article yet, but what I've gotten so far is that it follows the story of an adventurer(?) who is looking for a lost love and hunts monsters for both fun and profit.

 

The most information I could get about the release date was that it was sometime next year. 

 

But basically I was wondering if anyone could give me more information on the game itself (mainly the first 2 in the series). 

 

I'm definitely keeping my eye on this and I'm super excited for it to come out, I encourage everyone to look into it.
