My first OC!

ok fillies and gentelcolts, i passed out watching the military channel again and had some pretty awesome dreams! me and a friend from this forum were in pony form in post apocalyptic equestria (i know....i know...but i live a preppers life, and play with guns and draw ponies all day, living in post apocalyptic equestria is a dream for me). in the dream he kept call me sketch for what ever reason so thats this little guys name, SKETCH. it must be a subconscious thing due to my love of sketching ponies. it not up to my usual standards but i rocked this out in about 45 mins, i can refine him when im more awake.

his name is sketch, hes a closet prepper who hordes food, batterys,medical supplies and anything else of use during the end times. he is completely convinced that the world as we know it will end in our life time and trys to spread the word to his friends but they dismiss him as crazy. his cutie mark (drawing later) is a pencil and piece of parchment because of his love for drawing. he learned is extra special talent on day in class while doodling in the margins on his test paper. when he handed it in the teacher could see his tallent and challenged him to enter a local art competition. he entered and won first prize for his drawing of his teacher moping at her desk after a long day. he lost his left eye when he was young in a house fire.

 

(thats the best i can do while half asleep, i will rewrite this atleast a billion times until it all fits right!

start rough and end clean bro. i have 4 pencils, each has its own job to do, shading,bold lines,sketching,fine lines and 3 black magic erasers that i have taken a knife to to allow me to erase in minenute detail. idk it works for me...

Very, very impressive drawing. Simplistic in style, but I'd say that's actually a good thing as this picture is wholly and absolutely flawless. As for specific things that I love about this, I really like HIS MANE! :3 his eyes.

 

...actually i do really like his mane though. The fiery kind of style with the individual wisps of hair looks quite awesome.

(\ i love me some brohoof! thats for the complement bro! not that i have a basis i can really rock out a badass oc drawing and have my bud on  MM vector it for me! ima try and redraw him in a better light on thursday if work is slow enough, i would do it sooner but im starting to get requests for drawing and im having way to much fun!
