Being new, I was in your shoes, heck, I didn't even find these forums until I had watched every episode that had aired.  Just dive into the community, I'm sure you'll find your way.

Welcome, Krimson!  Glad you decided to take the plunge.    I was originally introduced to MLP:FiM by a close female friend and, at the time, I thought "Nice cartoon, but I'll never get hooked."  But unlike you, it only took me a month or two to become a full fledged Brony.  How did you manage to remain a casual fan for so long?!

 

And just wondering:  Is your girlfriend a member too?  If not, the more, the merrier!

I was able to stay casual just through sheer force of will. It was easy until I reconnected with a childhood friend. He was a brony and I guess it became guard from there. I don't believe she is but I'll get her in.
