My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic EndGame

I know a lot of people on the forum have probably been thinking this in the back of their minds, but don’t really want to speak of it. There comes a time in TV shows [mainly animations] where writers simply run out of ideas (quality ones). Most modern cartoons (not the classics) usually last three or four seasons and then end. It’s not that they are bad it’s really just that people (writers) run out of ideas.

Unfortunately MLP:FiM is not immune to what I said in the paragraph above. I am not trying to say that season four will not be good. I’m telling you fellow bronies to expect big things out of season four and possibly a grand finale [of the show not the season]. I could be wrong and season four will come and go than season five will come and who knows for how long it could last.

Realistically though MLP:FiM probably will have a great fourth season and maybe it will get a fifth season too. However I wouldn't hope for much more than that. The writers of the show can only make so many high quality episodes. I know some people will bring up spinoffs and think that they are the savior… maybe they will be? However this is about the main show not spinoffs.

If you want ignore what I have to say... just prepare for a not so far off rude awakening...

I know this has hit some of you hard and made you feel bad. So take a look at this and feel better or perish!

Well yeah thats a true and depressing reality really, I'm going to be so sad when S4 ends, because I have this gut feeling that its going to be the last season.. I don't even know what I'm going to do after that ends, but I'd rather not think about it much.

I just hope S4 can be great atleast and satisfy me a bit, even if a S5 isn't likely, and even if it does come it may not be any good.

I can always hope for the writers to be really good at coming up with ideas and somehow have enough for a S5, maybe even S6(That are good of course,)But I don't have the highest hopes for it.

I mostly just kinda try to ignore the thought, its kinda depressing, and yeah I don't like being depressed really.

Atleast we will know that MLP was a great show, and infact its one of the only shows left on TV I really care for to be honest.

Twilight reflects many years later on her friendships and gives a narrated epilogue to the story lines. In the final frames, either she remembers her friends standing together, she sees a picture of them, or she is with them all (despite their age) and they smile. Then, the book shown in the first frames of the pilot closes. Roll credits. [\show]

@@Zygen,

Life marchs forward. Nothing lasts forever, but I'm sure there will be a fifth generation. There is profit to be made so you can bet Hasbro will be around to catch it.

I love you Hasbro <3

@,

Thank you for pointing that out? I guess...

I try not to think about the show ending, though I have a wriggling feeling that bronies are going to found an animation company to continue the show after it does. Lord knows, we have more than enough animators, writers, and VAs to do so.

Normally I would just brush this off and think you were joking. However after seeing some animations on YouTube and other fan works I don't think I'd be too shocked to see that happen.

Not joking. It probably won't be 26 episodes a year, but if Double Rainboom happened, then it's very likely that fans will continue the show in some form or another.

When the end comes...

We will live through it together as a community.

Never have I seen a show that has brought so many people together.

And look at us.

We have achieve so much.

Why should we stop?

Why should we end when the show ends?

When the show ends, it will be the end of the series, but for me and many others it will not be the end.

When is a show considered dead?

When it no longer makes new episodeds?

When it stops running?

No

None of the above

A show is truly dead when it has been forgotten.

When it has been locked up in the vaults, never to be heard from again. When no one remembers it or even cares anymore.

That's when a show is truly dead.

This show has made such an impact on so many people that it will live on for a long time.

I know that the community will live on.

I can see it.

Still fans making videos.

Still fans making art work.

Still conventions being made.

It may not be as huge or now in its prime, but it will be there no less.

And why not?

I've said it before

Star Wars fans are still there. They are still going at it years after the original movies and the prequels ended.

Star Trek

Still fans exist after the last voyage ended and still conventions are being made.

Why shoud the brony fandom be different?

Those who are afraid of the end, are afraid of the road to that end.

I have had wonderful experiences with this fandom, and so have others. I see no reason to fear the end of this wonderful series.

When the series ends

It will be glorious

And all of us will be there watching

Reminiscing on how it all started

How we started

How we meet each other

How we made it to where we are

And in the end

It will be great

In the end we will be fine

For in our heart it will live on

We will make sure this does not end

We will keep it alive

Because one thing I know is that there will be people like us who dispite what people tell us, continue to do and watch what we love best.

I used to wonder what friendship could be

Until you all shared it's magic with me

Big adventures

Tons of fun

A beautiful heart

Faithful and strong

Sharing kindness

It's an easy feat

And magic makes it all compete

My little pony

Did you know you are my very best friends?

Thank you everypony

I agree with what you are saying and I think that our fandom will not die once the show ends either.

For the length issue simply use spoiler tags...

[sspoiler][/sspoiler]

Remove the extra "s" from "sspoiler" and then you get this...

Yeah I know, I just don't really like the thought at all, no garenteed that G5 will be any good either.

Oh well I think atleast the fandom will stick around for a long while after the end of the show, which is good.

I've been reading the "possible change to the mane six" thread and now that I think about it they may not be too far off. Maybe a new charcter (a new mane one) could keep it alive?

I don't really know for sure, but like I said MLP:FiM is in its "End Game" phase so we'll see what happens...

Your new mane character idea intrigued me because it's what other I talked to have thought of. Many have said that it may seem unnecessary some like this idea. Then there are those that say it's unlikely, but I see this as a possibilty. Thought the more I think about it, it may be forced instead of put in for the show.

Hasbro is in it to make money and so far this series had made them millions, they are going to want to keep I going till the last drop. Anyways making a new character to be in the mane six has its business advantages. You can sell new toys, and people with the mane six may want to add this character to complete there set.

The addition of a new character may extend the life of this show as well, which will help them out.

Now I'm not saying this is whats going on in there heads, but you never know.

Besides even if a new character is forced apoun it is likly that the writers will be able to make this new character work.

Anyways the point in tryin to make that it isn't as far fetched of an idea as it seems, but we also don't know if it will happen.

Only time will tell.
