Star didn't notice the note as the appointment ended and they walked out of the room. The doctor said it may take a few minutes to figure it out or not but he was pretty sure they would be having a foal...but as happy as Star was, she couldn't stop worrying about what had happened earlier that day...

(Nightfall did not see the note, and I will give you one more chance; saying I saw the note without giving me a chance to decide whether or not I want to see it is godmodding.)

 

Nightfall wondered what th doctor was hiding; he hadn't seen the note. But he was wheeled out of the room, happy.

Okay. This is boring. Time to make my own entertainment.)

At that moment, there was a shadow at the window (making the assumption that this is ground-floor, if not, there was a building), followed by it smashing, with a police pegasus coming through it, followed closely by the blue pony from the market. He looked around at the stunned ponies, winked at Nightfall (good time for a complete remembrance flashback or something), and calmly snapped the officer's neck. He checked the position of the varied doctors and patients, said to them, "Sorry. I don't let the police see me" and left the way he came in.

Star shook her head. "I'm...I'm happy but i'm just worried about what happened earlier...why would somepony want to do that, we were just getting pie and...i'm scared Nightfall." She said, walking up next to him and looking down towards the ground. "I'm really happy because we're gonna have a foal but I don't want that to happen again Nightfall."

((EEK, I almost forgot about Ocean.))

 

 

Ocean had only gotten two customers that day so she was rather grumpy as she started closing up the shop.

She flipped the open sign to closed then trotted out, locking the door behind her.

She trotted down the street towards her apartment.

"Yeah, I'll say... Hey, Lite? Can we get some food later?"

"What? Why do you think that? You're thinking that now you're a pony, that you can just do whatever you want, you buffoon?"

 

Oril seemed a little sad, and just ran off from her. "Hmmph. Idiot...", she said under her breath.

Frost watched as his friend was taken to the hospital on a stretcher. Why hadn't he done anything? Surely pegasus speed could have been a big help in that situation...

 

A thought struck him. Did he just-

 

His eyes grew wide as he spun around and searched the area that he had come from. The cobalt mare was nowhere to be found. "Argh, it happened again..."

 

Not this time. With another burst of energy from his feathered wings, he headed back towards the food court. Searching the crowd, he caught site of the mare again, this time minus her companion. What had happened since he had bolted off? He settled back next to her and sighed. "Sorry about bolting off like that, Lite. A friend of mine got in a fight over in the market and...argh." Today was not going well at all.

Frost watched as his friend was taken to the hospital on a stretcher. Why hadn't he done anything? Surely pegasus speed could have been a big help in that situation...

After Frost had came back, she smiled.

 

"Oh, it's quite all right, Arctic. Friends come first, don't they?"

 

Meanwhile, Oril was tearing a little, running through the market, just wanting to get away from everyone.

Oril dried up his small tears to see that he had ran into a pony reading a book. He picked it up for her, looking away a little.

 

"I'm sorry... I didn't see you there, ma'am... I hope that you could forgive me... and not punish me."

Oril finally got to calming down, and moved over to where he was sitting next to Ocean.

 

"My name... is Oril. And this portal... It's a magic portal that we use to go to different places through the shadows. It's also where Lite keeps the bad shadows... I don't wanna be a bad shadow... I just asked if we were going to get food, then she lashed out her words, and... I ran..."

 

"Is there any way you can get away from her ? Because to me...she seem's like a bit of an ass." She said, matter of factly "If you don't like her...than just leave her." She said, standing up and picking up her bags. "Why don't you join me for some tea. My name is Ocean Wind by the way."

Oril was following her, stumbling a little as he walked into the cafe, and walked up to the barista. He orders a chai tea, and places a few bits on the counter. "This is to pay for her also.", he says to the barista, pointing over at Ocean, as he turns to her. "I was told to do that for a mare... Well... Mainly for Lite... She makes me do that all the time, and I guess it goes for the habit..."

 

"Um...thank you." She looked past Oril to the mare behind the counter. "The usual." She said. The mare nodded and walked off to get their tea. She sat down at a table and gestured for Oril to sit down across from her. "So...she gets angry at you when you ask for food...she punishes you when you do something wrong...and she makes you pay for her food and drinks ? Yea...you need to get away from her...she seem's like a total ass...back in Trottingham there was this group of mares who always used to pick on me...until I pushed them all into the river." She chuckled slightly but quickly went back to her usual serious self.

I just don't want to be like Night Shimmer and--" He threw a hoof to his mouth, realizing he had talked too much.

Now that he mentioned it, wasn't that dark blue warpony that he ran into before in the crowd as well? He shook his head, sighing. "I'm probably going to end up visiting him soon. "Um... No, I wasn't planning on anything else. Oril is fine off by himself. He shouldn't cause problems.", Lite said to Arctic, looking straight at him.
