"Do I have to make it look like an accident, or does he have enough enemies that a simple gunshot would do the trick for us?" She fired into the target once, ejecting the cartridge and hand-loading another. She did it with a loving stroke of her hoof, without the magic that most normal unicorns used. She eyed the jar, "You ruin my weapon and you're buying the next one. With full-due respect of course, sir."

"No, ze hit squad's out of town, remember? Ve're goink to have to do it ze fun vay. Head-on." Red lit the fuse, hurled the jar, and it exploded near two targets. "Ve're goink to take out ze guards, zen get ze diplomat. Good news is zey're sendink in a Varthog beforehoof to soften it up und give us some cover."

(This is probably going to be somewhat like a fight in CoD without respawns and hopefully with less AR weetods)

(And less stupid, trial-error dying. God, I hate that)

She frowns, "Well, I good always use a spare buck. 300 grand doesn't last long on the black market though." Not when you're buying information. "Who is this poor idiot anyway?" She frowned at the targets, "You'd have a better result if you put metal casings in the jar too, not that I want to be around when you let that firework fry."

(Alright)

"I'll go," she stated, firing another round in the target. She pulled the lever back and put the safety on, letting the empty cartridge fall to the ground. She had lost interest in practicing gunplay, now more interested in acquiring necessary equipment for the mission, "When and where?"

Brushing himself off, Colton looked at Red with amazement.  "Um...  uh...  ok-ay."  He looked at the ground as he stumbled away.

What just happened?  I'm usually so swift and strong and amazing...  He made me look like...  a colt!  What is he thinking?

Stupid old man...  What's his problem?

Red grinned and closed the case of weapons. "Ten minutes. See you at ze helipad." Before Lunar could say anything, he left, closing the door behind him.

Standoff's PDA jingled. He looked down at it and turned to Quinky. "Sorry, I forgot to tell you I was on a job. We'll get back to this when I get back. Go get washed up, and then report to Endgame."

Lovely. They better have food on the plane, or else somepony's death is growing to look like a radical extremist. With a knife. And a whip. You know, I think I'll pack some rope. And with that cheery thought, she left the range at a trot. No time to get into any protective gear, that would have to be done en route. Throwing some in the pack she kept ready, she grabbed a length of rope and a MRE, just in case, and made her way to the helipad.

Quinky noted Standoff's comment. He watched and tried to control his breathing a bit.

"Am I allowed to try knock-downs, sir? I know several defensive moves...and a lot of ways to knock somepony out by strangulation..." Quinky smiled as he remembered the first time he had to use self-defense. Suddenly, the pony Silver Bark strolled into the room with a bored look on her face.

"Mind if I watch? I'm bored to tears out there. Too many young'uns whistling. I wish I were allowed to kick one or two of there butts from time to time..." she said.

"Actually, I kind of have to leave. As in now. I think we talked about that. You too, Bark. We got that diplomat to get rid of, remember? Lots of money? Reputation building for Hailfire? That sort of niceness? Go get your stuff together, we're airborne in ten minutes." And with that, Standoff headed for the armory.

End game was in the armory, grabbing anything that could come remotely useful on the op when Standoff walked in. "So boss, who are we going to kill and what's the plan? It's been a while since I've been in the field, but this should be pretty quick and clean right?"

"I wish. We're removing an Equestrian diplomat, he's got a guard, and there's a summit meeting in two days. We have to get rid of him now, and we're going to have to go in through the front door, so to speak. Now, there's a Warthog going through 30 seconds before we land, and hopefully we can keep the job under an hour." Standoff grabbed a shotgun, his signature tactical shield, and some grenades before he heard a helicopter. "There's our ride."

End game finished connecting wires to a charge. "One ready-made detour coming up. This guy only has one bodyguard? I was hoping for something a bit more difficult. We going to take responsibility for this op, or just going to dump it off on some random terrorist group?" He said as he grabbed himself a PDW and a sidearm on his way to the helipad.

Red joined up with the two on the way to the Osprey. "Ven he says a guard, he means a team of zem. Equestria's best und all zat. Zis'll be messy." "Good of you to join us. We're not going to take responsibility, because then we'll have the entire Equestrian army on our backs. It's between us, Prance, and the wall." They got in, and waited for the others.

She got onto the helicopter without a word and strapped her gear down, pulling out the suit she'd grabbed earlier. Ducking to put on the helmet, she assembled the pieces bit by bit. It did not take her long, and so she sat down with her rifle propped against the wall beside her and a pistol strapped on her thigh. On the other thigh was her knife, and on her chest were two grenades. Her helmet had a yellow visor, and she tapped her ear, checking the communications unit. "So, are we trading snipers now or when we hit the kill zone?" she said into the helmet.

"Wait, hold on...we have to kill somepony? Or just maim them?" Quinky asked.

Silver Bark rolled her eyes.

"And I thought guys caught on fast to situations. Pay attention!" she snapped.

Quinky Bolts shuddered. It was only his first official day, after all. He was just a tad slow, though.

"Yes kid. We do have to kill someone. But if you're too much of a wuss to do it you could always cover our retreat while we do the real work." End game said with a mocking tone. "You'd miss out on all the fireworks though, so I for one will be out on the front lines."

Lunar stood up from the corner of the helicopter and addressed the newbie, "Have you ever killed anypony? Ever seen the look in their eyes, the shot of pain, and then the cold, lifeless release as they hit the ground? Ever felt the soft jerk the body makes as life leaves them, their warmth already beginning to fade?" She eyed him and shook her head, "I would not have a liability, not on the battlefield."

"I personally like zat moment of realization ven you shoot somevone in ze heart. But I digress." Red rapped on the dividing door of the Osprey, and they took off.

Nearing the LZ, they passed a Warthog hightailing it in the other direction, the smoke from the missiles still in the air.

End game glanced up from his radio and said to Red "The advance team is reporting higher than expected resistance. Nevertheless, they got some ordanance in place to wipe out the lead vehicle of the caravan and delay the rest. How good are y'all at firing through bulletproof glass?"

Red grinned, and his mismatched eyes narrowed. "Bulletproof? No such sing." As the VTOL landed, he nabbed Lunar's rifle and got out the back. Standoff voiced over their helmets, "Find him and drop him, you know what to do!" He moved up to a half-destroyed planter, grabbing his custom-painted tactical shield. Red dropped back to a Skybridge overlooking the compound. The crew heard plenty of hoofsteps coming towards them...

End game found an easily overlooked hole to stand in, and waited for the incoming assault. "Alright, detonation in three, two, cover, Detonation!" With a shout he closed the circuit and the lead car of the convoy erupted into flames with a bang, disorienting or killing the soldiers running by it.

Lunar grimaced and grabbed Red's rifle, falling back to the edge of the OZ and began to circle around to a high point. Going prone, she sighted the squad, and slowly scoped their immediate area, bringing down any enemy she saw. "Red, I swear I heard it go pew pew. What is this, the baby sniper of toy bullets?" she asked over the radio.

"Um, I sorta killed somepony. It wasn't all my fault, but technically speaking I have. What can I do?" Quinky gulped. He felt a bit lost. He was better at taking commands than deciding what to do. Suddenly, Silver practically disappeared. She had taken to the sky, good at dodging bullets and manuvering skillfully to take in the battle field.

End game levitated his PDW and started to suppress the remaining enemy soldiers. "Hey newbie! You want to do something? Flank those soldiers, I can't do shit from here while they have cover. Red and I will cover you, just move!" He shouted as he tossed a grenade behind a mound of sandbags.
