Just some sketch cards

These are a few sketch cards I've been working on. I'll probably be adding some OC in the next week or so.

 

All are done in colored pencil and ink.

These are really great! Almost look like the trading cards that they sell. Really great coloring, poses, and you got the character just right.

 

I give this a 10/10.

That's some good stuff you have there. The colors aside, they look very show accurate! Applebloom looks a little to tall however. Just keep drawing, and it'll look even better!

Thanks for the compliments. I'll try and get one done for you next week. I need to get some more cards and better pencils. I haven't really drawn anything in years but just started getting back into it.

Yeah the colors can be tough with pencils sometimes. I really need to invest in some better materials. I yend to do these at work so.sometimes they can be a little rushed. Thank you for the input. I appreciate it.

I agree with Modphase, Applebloom seems a tad bit taller. Also, as stated before, the coloring is also slightly off. Although, these are all minor errors and can be easily worked on in the ear future!--Here, have my brohoof!

Wow, very nice job on these, hb!

 

I don't mean to rehash what the others said, but other than Apple Bloom being a tad bit too tall and the colors being a bit off on some of them, these are excellent looking, and do in fact make me think of trading cards!

Hopefully I'll be able to get a chance to sit down this weekend and do some more.

I have to say after not having done any art in years it feels good to get back into ot. Plus my 3 year old daughter really likes them. (It's fun listening to her try and sing smile, smile, smile with pinkie pie
