visual art First Attempt at Pixel Art

I'm trying to get into pixel art, and I adore zebras, so here's a pixel zebra. I know it's kinda shitty, but I don't think it's too bad for a first try.

I have never tried pixel art (or, honestly, digital art at all), but I think it´s really hard to do...

noone would probably be able to guess what I wanted to make if I tried first time

Thanks so much~ I can't vector or digitally draw anything, but I think pixel art is rather easy once you get used to it! I used GraphicsGale and it took me about a half hour to this. Time well wasted.
