shade paused for a second, "from what i know... both of us had to suffer with all that has happened in a sewer. and knowing myself, i probably keep the roughest moments to myself. so she needs love... i need love too... but im invisible to everyone in my world. do you know how that feels?" shade said.

 

villan remained quiet.

"i have no idea" shade said. "but im hoping that my element can help me... if it dose work in this world, il be able to cause chaos, like making cotton candy clouds rain chocolate milk. and maybe also trick the portal into thinking that 30 moons have past... all i can do is hope that it works." shade continued.

Luna's mouth pulled back and she looked away, feeling ashamed.  "Our Shade has found a family full of love," she said quietly.  "And someday, you will as well."  Luna looked back at her.  "Don't you know anypony named Discord?  I'm sure that must be how it begins for you.  That is how it began for Shade."

Midnight blinked.  "Chaos?  Isn't that bad?"

Discord jumped slightly as light suddenly came into the room as the front door opened and closed.  Discord looked over his shoulder at Celestia.

"How did y---"

"I used my magic," Celestia said.  "I'm tired of looking for things," she said, walking over and sitting next to Discord who proceeded to push her a few feet away.  Celestia didn't protest.

They both stared at the wall for a long moment.

"You're doing so well, Discord," Celestia finally said.

Discord said nothing.

"I know it's difficult for you.  I am not poking fun at all.  You really are doing very well.  You have caused no serious harm since you decided not to.  This is an amazing feat."

Discord ignored her, unamused.

"I'm very proud of you."

This time, Discord looked over at her.

"discord... i only know your discord... but..." shade thought for a moment. she tried to remember if she ever knew anyone named discord in her world. "i think iv heard that name before... but i think when it came up they where talking about a guy in prison..." she said. having a ture family would be awesome she thought. unlike the one in the sewer she had, but a family like thees ponies had.

 

"well that would make sence because our discord was a statue for 1000 years" villan said.

shade smiled as midnight thought about the bad chaos. "yes, chaos is bad... chaos is often thought of destruction or a negative thing. but chaos is actualy an energy. its an energy that is offten abused and looses control., but if it is neutralized and handled with care and positive, the effects of the chaos energy are quit different, it can heal rather than hurt." she explained. "i have made mistakes with chaos before, and it... wasnt good times... but i learned about the positive in chaos and thats why i have this crown. the crown helps with effects of chaos and enhances it." she continued. "i hope this world never has to face the danger that has happened in my world, it put the my world version of you at risk." she said getting carried away again.

Luna smirked.  "Maybe he'll break out and you'll end up preventing him from doing something suicidal," she said.  She couldn't say much else because she didn't know enough about Shade's world.

Midnight didn't quite understand.  "So there's two me's?" he asked.

Celestia smiled at Discord.  She stood up and held out her hoof to him.  "Now come on.  We have to find a way to save Shade and save the world.  If we don't, the only feeling I could ever feel towards you will be hatred and fear."

"Dreadfully boring," Discord said.

"Exactly," Celestia beamed.

Discord took Celestia's hoof and grinned back at her.  He stood up and began tugging her along with him towards the door.

shade just raised her brow. she didnt want to say anything in reply to that statement. "what exactly did i do that was good?" she asked

 

villan didnt say anything. he just looked at luna because he figured she would know more about that

"well... errm... yes... theres this worlds you... then theres my worlds you. just the same as there's this worlds me and my worlds me. the same goes for celestia, your mother luna... and everyone in the world." she explaned now thing that it was a bad idea to start this conversation.

"The other Shade?" Luna said.  "Discord...that...other creature from earlier...he broke free from his prison.  He is a spirit of chaos and wrecked havoc on our world.  We needed help from a group of ponies.  Shade ended up joining Discord.  She helped him.  She became his family."

Luna sighed.  "But in the end, she left him to join our side because she knew it was right.  Discord tried to do something that would make it impossible for anypony to help him.  He was practically killing himself.  But Shade and my sister got through to him.  They stopped him.  Shade saved everypony.  She saved my son.  She saved my sister.  She saved Discord.  She saved Equestria."

Luna smirked, a bit amused about what she was to say next.  "Through friendship and love."

"Oh for Celestia's sake..." King Sombra muttered as Chrysalis rolled her eyes to the sky.

"And chaos," Luna added.

"Oh..." Midnight said slowly.  "That's...cool.   I guess..." he said.  Over half of the adults in the world wouldn't understand this.  The poor kid obviously didn't understand. 

But still.  He was a kid.  He didn't need to understand.  Midnight grinned.  "What do I look like?"

shade took a look at herself... she now knew that coming to this world was a mistake. but she just didnt like her world and the position that she was in, it was hard.

"um..." shade said before walking back towards the school. "follow me... im going to show you something." she said trying to stear away from getting too deep into this subject.

Luna looked away from her and sighed.  She then blinked as she heard a hissing sound and looked towards King Sombra who begun to look translucent.

"Stop him!" Luna yelled, jumping up and readying her magic.

Midnight hurriedly skipped after the girl.  "Okay!"

villan jumped up and readied his magic beside luna... tho he didnt know if his magic would do anything to help... he just wanted to look like he was doing something useful.

 

everything was quiet for shade... she was trying to think about stuff.

shade walked out of the woods and back to being in view of the school. she looked at the element of chaos, "im going to see if i can activate the magic within the crown." she said hoping that it would work. she focoused her energy and tryed to cast a spell just like she did as a pony. the element started to glow... but it glowed faintly. that was all that happened. "its... not strong enough... theres not much energy in this world... hm... do you know anyone named Discord?" she asked.

Chrysalis blinked and reached towards King Sombra.  He gave her a sharp growl, purple colored shadows flowing from his eyes.  Chrysalis jerked back, not wanting to go back to the underground prison.

King Sombra began to phase through the ground.  Luna shot out her magic at him but it passed right through him.  She ran towards him.  "We can't let him escape!" she yelled.

Midnight blinked.  "Discord?" he repeated.  "Oh yeah!  He messed with my mom!  He's in prison now!" Midnight said brightly.

Discord glanced back at Celestia upon hearing Luna's yell on their way to the castle to retrieve Midnight.  They both turned in the direction of it.

"Can I trust no one?" Celestia whispered to herself.

"Apparently not.  I'll get Midnight.  You go...protect your Equestria or whatever," Discord said.

Celestia looked at him and nodded.  She then trotted off as Discord walked calmly towards the castle.

villan tried to shoot a bolt of magic, but it didnt work. he then tried to charge towards sombra, but he ran right through him.

 

shade watched the event... *wow... this place is messed up... i should have just stayed in my world.* she thought to herself.

shade smacked her hand to her face... "that figures... i guess im gonna have to find another source of power." she said...

Luna ran up to him.  She concentrated her magic on both herself and on him and tried to grab him just as he slipped through the dirt.  Her magic worked.  When she touched her, her magic fused together with his and Luna phased right through the dirt as well, falling through it along with him.

Chrysalis stared at the empty space.

"Well that is just lovely isn't it?" she said.

Midnight nodded.  He didn't know any other sources of power.

"very" villan said... he wasnt sure what to do now. he suppose he should just watch shade until something more happens. 

 

shade didnt know what just happened. but she didnt think of it too hard.

shade took some time to think... what was a source of power that she could use that was easy to find? then it hit her. "love... thats what i need... love is also a source of power that can power up chaos!" she said

Celestia arrived at the scene a few moments later.  She took in the absence of the ruler of shadows and the princess of the night and smacked her hoof to her face.

Midnight blinked.  He didn't know where she would find that.  He rubbed his neck, glancing off somewhere else with no way to help her.

"Hello."

Midnight jumped, flashing into his changeling form for a second.  He turned to look up at Discord who beamed down at him,

"Leave me alone!" Midnight said, touching the mirror as if to protect it.

Discord sat down beside Midnight and shrugged a shoulder.  "You're just going to sit here?"

"I'm waiting for a sign of Shade to help her!" Midnight exclaimed, not removing his hooves from the mirror.

villan looked at celestia... "sombra escaped and luna went after him." he said.

shade knew that it would be hard to find love... and midnight looked like he wasnt able to help her with that... "now... where can i find... oh i know!" she said knowing that luna loved midnight and thinking that she could probably absorbe some of that love to power up the element of chaos. "midnight... come with me." she said walking towards the school.

Celestia stared at him for a long moment and then sighed.  "Everypony go to the castle and find Discord.  From there, you must figure out your next move," she said, turning around.  "But I'm afraid that I have to go back to Canterlot and protect Equestria as much as I can from there.  Equestria cannot lose all their princesses."

"And what about Luna?" Chrysalis asked, raising an eyebrow.

Celestia paused.  "Luna...Luna must live her own mistakes, if a mistake at all."

And then she was gone.

Midnight hurried after her.  "Okay!  Where're we going?"

villan nodded and started walking towards the castle holding shade with his magic. shade was idly floating and being carried towards the castle. villan knew that equestria relied on them and they must not fail at protecting what was left of equestria.

shade looked at midnight, "i think i know where i can find what i need. but for that, we need to see your mother." she said.

Celestia appeared in her castle.  Immediately, she closed her eyes and rose her face to the sky.  Her horn began to glow as she concentrated very bit of her magic on creating a shield across all of Equestria, excluding the crystal empire.  She grunted as she felt all of her magic drain from her and into her horn.  The magic exploded out of it, sending Celestia falling to the floor.

Midnight whined.  "Awh...why her?  Isn't there anyone else?"

villan made it to the castle and made with way to the storage room where the magic mirror was. he saw midnight and discord there. he put shade down and clapsed onto the crystal floor. he was worn out from the whole day.

"i know you would rather be anywhere but with your mother... but its all i can think of that will give me power as soon as possible." she said

Discord glanced over as Villan flopped to the floor.  He looked at Midnight beside and then at the mirror.

"You're my grandson, you know," Discord said randomly.

"You're old," Midnight retorted.

"Older than Celestia," Discord said, believing this to be a good thing.

"Celestia doesn't look old."

"I feel as if you are trying to say something.  I choose to ignore that something," Discord said.

Celestia pushed herself up from the floor as the shield spread out across Equestria.  She stumbled to her throne and slumped down onto it, breathing heavily.  She would not be able to keep this up for very long.  She may be able to keep it up as long as Cadence had with the Crystal Empire.  Even if Equestria was big, Celestia was a very powerful alicorn.

"Fine," Midnight pouted, continuing to follow her despite his unwillingness.

shade raised her eyebrow as discord spoke to midnight. it confused her so she didnt bother to listen. she knew she would find out in her world sometime soon.

 

villan looked up at midnight and discord. he didnt know if he should say something so he stayed quiet.

shade continued to walk keeping a close eye on midnight in case he decided to make a run for it. she made it to the front steps of the school. "dont worry midnight, il let you free after this, all i need is your mother to show some love to you so i can go home." she said.

"So...where is Celestia anyway?" Discord asked.  "And the moon princess?"

Midnight looked a bit sad.  "So then you'll leave me..." he said, disappointed that he may have to lose his new friend.  No pony else was like her.

Or magic.  He didn't have any magical friends either.

villan shrugged, "i dont know where luna is... but she went after sombra when he disappeared. as for celestia, she went back to canterlot to protect equestria from there. as for us... we need to find a way to get shade back." he said. "discord, dont you think you can use some sort of magic to open the portal to the other world?" he asked.

shade hesitated with what to say. "who said il leave you? all i need is to is go back to my world and do some thing... il come back." she said walking into the school to look for luna.

Midnight looked over as his mother was mentioned.  Frustrated, he put his hooves on his head and groaned, slamming his head onto the floor.  Before he could do it a second time, the hard floor had been replaced with a giant marshmellow.

Discord raised an eyebrow at Midnight.  "Don't do that.  You'll end up like me."

Discord turned back to Villan.  "I'm not sure.  I never tried anything like that, obviously.  I could try though!" he said, saying 'try' in a perky voice, mocking a certain element of magic that was no longer around to hear it.

"Really?!" Midnight said, perking up and rushing after her.  "Maybe I can go with you to your world too!  Even if only for a little while!" he said.  "And my mom's office is over there!" he added, pointing down a hall to the door on the end.  Above the door was a paper mache cresent moon.

 

(Everyone else seemed to have given up on it except for us xD

shade didnt know what to say at this point, she really didnt want to disappoint him. "um... yes... maybe... someday il take you to my world." she said. she looked at the door to lunas office and walked towards it, then knocked on the door. 

 

(meh... whatever... seems like we are the only two who stay loyal to an RP XD... let me know if ya start up another RP.)
