Shade looked at discord. "Yes... We found out that there's a crystal fare tomorrow." She said looking at the sun on the horizon. "We should get some info from the cretures when they wake up." She said.

Gulp* villan swallowed and stepped back from the mirror... Then he charged at the mirror to enter the other world.

Discord nodded as Midnight turned to look at the sun rising.

Celestia watched him and then took a deep breathe.  She followed after Villan and into the magical mirror, disappearing into it.

King Sombra turned away from the shaking form on the floor, obviously bored with her for the time being.  He went towards a wall and pressed a stone in, a secret doorway opening.

Chrysalis raised her head.  "Whose there?"

King Sombra went upstairs, closing the door behind him.

Luna glanced around.  "No!  Celestia, don't leave me here alone!" she cried out, despite not using telepathic communication.

A maid slowly pushed the door to Luna's room open.  Luna swung towards her.  The maid blushed and hide slightly behind the door.  "Princess...are you alright?  Would you like any company."

Luna breathed heavily for a long moment.  She took a deep breathe and exhaled slowly to calm herself.  Then, she nodded.

Shade sat on a bench and waited for some of the creatures to walk by.

After feeling warm and spun and stretched... Villan opened his eyes he looked around and saw a big building... He looked at the statue, "that must be the way back to equestria." He said. "Now how to go about finding discord..." He wondered.

Discord sat beside her and rapped his nails against the arm rest of the bench as the time went by.

"So...hows..." he stopped speaking for a few moments.  "What...happened?" he asked casually, referring to her little incident of turning herself to stone.

Celestia blinked and opened her eyes.  She sat up and touched her head self-consciously.  She glanced at the creature next to her and jumped back quickly.  It only took her a few seconds to realize that it was Villan.  She glanced down at herself before shaking her head and pushing herself to her hands and knees.  She looked at her feet.  Perhaps she was supposed to stand on those, otherwise they seemed useless. 

She did this, unsteadily.

"Wow," she said quietly, not trusting her voice at first.  "Well then," she said louder.  "I suppose we need to look for some clues to where he's been."

Luna sighed as the maid entered and respectfully bowed before sitting on the floor.  Luna gestured her hoof to indicate that she could sit beside her on the bed.  The maid complied.

They stared at each other for a moment.

Then Luna burst into tears and the maid let the emotionally distraught princess sob into her shoulder.

Shade shrugged not knowing what discord was asking about, then she looked at discord, "I... Found... Her." She said uneasily... "Then the darkness inside of me tried to escape... I had to cast some dangerous spells to keep it from escaping... Then I had to turn into stone to keep myself contained..." She said thinking about the bad that could have happened... But also feeling guilty that she was locked away for 2 years. "What did I miss while I was... Stoned?" She asked.

Villan turned around and saw a creture that looked like celestia, he looked at her then... Bursted into laughter... "This is hilarious... You look so... Dragon." He said laughing.

Discord looked away from her.  "Well...not much," he said quietly.  In fact, two years had a lot in it to miss.  Whether significant or not.  He then beamed at her.  "Happy that you're back though."

Celestia looked at him and then down at herself again.  "Dragon?" she repeated.  The corners of her mouth pulled up into a smile and she shook her head, chuckling.

"Now, now I'm all alone!  They've all gone!  Tia obviously thinks I can't handle it!" Luna sobbed.

Actually, Celestia knew Luna couldn't handle it.  Luna was simply the kind of pony who was extremely affected by emotions.  She had become Nightmare Moon from her emotions, she was sobbing hysterically because of her emotions.  Luna had to face the fact that she was emotionally unstable and she may be that way for the rest of her immortal life.

But it didn't mean she couldn't help out well enough.

"I have to go there!" Luna burst.

Shade sighed and still felt guilty for missing 2 years. Especially 2 years of midnights life.

Villan was still laughing... Then he stopped... He looked at himself and saw that he looked like a dragon too... He laughed some more then grew tired of laughing... "Ok... Now where should we start looking?" He asked.

Discord frowned when she sighed.  "Cheer up..." he said.  He glanced around, trying to find something that would be able to cheer her up. 

Maybe he'd find cotton candy at the fair for her.

Midnight rubbed his eyes, trying to wake up a bit.

Celestia smiled at him and glanced around.  "Well...I suppose we could always look inside of this building here first," she said.  "They might have gone inside of there."

She went towards it and as she reached the doors, something touched her arm.  Celestia looked at the guard.

"Excuse me, Miss but you---" he started.  "Oh!  Miss Celestia.  Forgive me.  You may go in."

Celestia stared at him for a moment.  She looked at Villan, her eyes puzzled.

"What?" the maid said as Luna jumped up and moved away.  "Princess, is that a good idea?"

Luna shrugged her shoulders and looked at the maid.  "It isn't.  But it is not a bad idea either."

"But...where will you go?"

"The crystal empire."

King Sombra flew as a shadow across the ground, searching for the intruders.  He could not seem to find them.  He growled and slipped into the castle, deciding to search there.  He slithered across the ground for a few minutes before passing by an open door.  He turned into in.

He saw the mirror.

He smiled.

Shade looked around as the cretures started to come out of the buildings and walk all over the place. She wanted to walk up to one of them and ask about the crystal hart, but... She felt intimidated and scared.

Villan was confused too. "Don't question it... Just go with it" he said quietly to celestia as he walked into the building.

Discord glanced at Shade, wondering why she wasn't approaching any of the creatures.  Shade looked frightened.  Discord stood up immediately.  "I'll handle it," he said.

Discord walked up to a random creature.  "Excuse me kind sir, but would you happen to know anything about a crystal heart?"

The man looked at him.  "Crystal heart?  No...no, I don't think so," he said before walking right away without another word.

Discord made a face and turned to another creature as she walked by.  "Ma'am.  Do you know a---"

"No."

"I..." Discord said as she went off.  "I didn't even ask yet..."

Discord sighed and threw his arm out in front of couple of younger creatures as they went by.  The two stopped and gave him a look.  Discord raised his head and glared at them.  "Know anything about a crystal heart?"

One of them perked up.  "Oh, oh, the one their giving out at the fair?"

Discord raised his eyebrows.

Celestia put a smile onto her face.  "That is quite alright, sir.  And he is with me," Celestia said, referring to Villan as she went into the building and looked around and the large room. 

"Hm," she said, beginning to look around.

King Sombra turned to his normal pony form and went towards the mirror.

"Hm, a mistake Princess," he smiled.  "A complete mistake."

Sombra picked up a hammer in his magic from the floor in the corner.  He raised it towards the mirror.

"Don't you know the power I have over you when you're inside of a mirror..."

Shade sunck as discord went around asking about the crystal hart... But then, one of the cretures sounded like they knew about it. Shade walked up beside discord. "Giving out? Know anything about the give out?" She asked.

Villan looked around at the place, he went to one of the trophy desplays and looked at them. He saw pictures of some girls with crowns on there heads... One of the crowns looked strangely like the element of magic. "Hey celestia... Is that a picture of the element of magic?" He asked.

"Well...not so much giving out," the girl's friend shrugged.  "Its a prize you can win if you win this competition thing."

"Yeah," the other girl agreed. 

"Oh?" Discord said.  "So...what's this competition?"

Celestia looked over.  "Hm?" she said, coming over to look at the pictures.  She noticed a few pictures of a very familiar looking creature.  She looked like Sunset Shimmer.  And she probably was.

"Oh," Celestia said quietly, seeing Twilight's picture and smiling softly.  "Well, that one on that purple one is.  The others are not," she said.

King Sombra lowered the hammer at great speed to smash the mirror to pieces when he got knocked over and onto his side, the hammer sliding across the floor.  He looked up at Luna, furious.

(Errm... Sisterhoof social?... Jousting?... Fashion?... Random draw?... Auction?... Shade just finds a way to steal it? Idk...)

 

"Ok then... Thanks..." Shade said. Looking at some tents being set up... "That must be where the fare is taking place" she said walking towards the crystal fare.

Villan noded, "ok... So the element of magic was here... But I don't see any pictures of the crystal hart." He said.

Discord followed her.  Midnight jumped off of the bench and rushed after them.

Celestia sighed and nodded.  "I don't either.  Or any signs of where Discord could have gone.  He possibly could have gone after Shade," she said.  "But I don't know if he would have found her or if we could find her."

"Don't you dare trap my sister in that world!" Luna yelled.

"Oh, pretty little Luna," King Sombra smiled, slowly turning back into shadows.  "Was it such a good idea to come here all alone?"

"I didn't come alone."

King Sombra's face fell slightly.

"I brought the night guards."

(Yah... Like some race... Or something... Shade and midnight = bro and sis.... Or what?)

 

Shade looked at all the tends being set up and all the food being prepared, then all the games being set up... It didn't seem like they where ready, so shade sat down on another bench and watched as the cretures set up for the crystal fare.

"I wonder how equestria is doing without us." She wondered.

Villan looked at the other side of the hallway. It had a flyer on the wall with a blue heart. Villan quickly ran to it and read it. "Crystal fare at crystal university. Lots of games and activities... That must be where shade is... How do we get to the crystal university from here?" He asked.

(Or a family thing.  Then all three could play.  It could be like...they could have a race and some other things)

 

Discord folded his arms across his chest and watched.  He snorted at Shade's question.  To be honest, he thought they'd be doing quite horribly without him.

Er...without all of them.  Yes.

Midnight sat down beside Shade and kicked his feet back and forth.

Celestia came over and looked at the flier, reading it carefully two times.  "Well...I'm not quite sure how things work here.  But I'm sure we could ask somepony," she said, using the term 'somepony' without realizing it.  She looked up and suddenly stepped back.

"Oh my..." she whispered.

She stared up at the picture of...of well, herself.  Herself as a human.  With Luna's picture right below hers. 

Wait...the creature earlier had called her principle.  Principle Celestia.

Aw, dang it.

"We have to go," Celestia said.  "Now."

Sombra stared at her for a long moment and then began to laugh.  "The night guards?"

Luna smiled.  "Oh, yes."

King Sombra smiled at her and his eyes began to glow as he began to rise shadows up from the ground outside to grab at any of the ponies...that...

Where were the ponies?

Luna shot a blast of magic at him.  "Oh, forgive us!" she said, her language returning to the language she used in the old days.  "We seemed to have lied to thou!"

Shade sighed and continued to watch the cretures set up for the crystal fare. Seemed like they where close to starting so shade got up and walked around and looked at all the tents to see what they where offering, but more importantly, to find somemore info on the crystal hart.

Villan blinked and looked at celestia... He didn't question it... He just started towards the door.

Discord watched her walk off.  He sighed and looked at Midnight.  "You want to hang out with your grandfather?"

Midnight made a face.  He jumped up and ran after Shade without a word.  Discord shrugged and went off by himself to check out some of the tents that seemed to be set up already.

Celestia went towards the door as well.  She pushed it open just as another creature pushed the other door open from the other side to enter.  Celestia glanced at her and saw exactly who she expected to see.

Herself.

Celestia turned away and lowered her head, jumping off the steps and slipping under them, breathing heavily.  She didn't know what would happen if they both saw each other.

The other Celestia raised her head, confused.  Seeing only Villan, she spoke to him.  "Young man, what are you doing at school this early?"

Princess Celestia whispered an apology as she hid underneath the metal steps.

Shade looked back and saw midnight running after her. She waited for him to catch up, then started walking again. She made her way around the fare until she saw at the corner of her eye, the crystal hart. One if the cretures was caring it in a glass case. She ran up to the guy that had the crystal hart. "Excuse me... But what's that?" She asked.

"This is the first place prize for the family race that's happening later today." The creture said then walked into a room that said staff only.

 

"So it a prize for some family race hm?" Shade said.

Villan blinked with confusion,.. Then freaked out "I... Well... Errm,.." He said before jumping off the stairs and running away, then jumping through the statue back to equestria...

Midnight beamed.  "A family race!" he said.  "That sounds like fun!  And we can win the crystal heart!"

Discord saw a tent selling treats.  He went up to it and pointed at the cotton candy.  "I'd like to b..."  He began to drag the word as he turned around.  "...but I don't have money," he remembered.

"On the house."

"What?" Discord said, turning back around.

The woman smiled.  "On the house."

"Why?"

"Who?" the woman grinned.

"Where?" Discord said, the corners of his mouth turning upwards in a smile.

"When?"

"How?" Discord finished, taking the cotton candy.

"Good enough a reason for ya?" the woman smirked as Discord turned away.

"Yes.  Yes it is," Discord said, going to find Shade.

 

(well, I don't know what that was)

Principle Celestia watched him bound off and then pretty much disappear into a statue.  "W-wha..." she stuttered.

Princess Celestia smacked her palm against her face quietly.

King Sombra dodged and snapped a shadowy tentacle at her.  Luna dodged as well, flying off of the floor and shooting another blast at him.

Villan found himself back in equestria in his good ol changeling forum... He smiled about the fact that he was back to being a pony... Then his brain just crashed when he realized what he had just done... "Well that was stupid." He said to himself.

Midnight nodded.  "Awh, we can try!" he smiled.

Discord appeared behind him almost by magic.  "Hi."

Midnight screamed.  He looked up at Discord and glared.

"I gots some pony cotton candy!" Discord said, holding it out in front of Shade from behind her.

Principle Celestia turned to the statue, staring at it for a moment.  She blinked and stepped back, pushing through the doors and going into the building, confused and wondering if she had seen things.

Princess Celestia stood quietly underneath the steps, wondering what to do.

King Sombra and Luna swung around to face Villan.

shade looked and the cotton candy and blinked... she pushed it out of her way and made her way around the fare to see if she can get an idea of what the race is going to be like.

villan didnt notice that luna and sombra where behind him at first... then he turned around and froze... "um..." he said pannicing again and charging towards the mirror again.

"Awh, come on," Discord said, walking after her.  "Don't be so serious all the time, you'll turn into Celestia."

"Go away," Midnight said almost sadly.

As Luna stared at the mirror, a shadowy tentacle grabbed her by the horn and pulled her head to face Sombra.  Luna gasped.  King Sombra smiled at her and grabbed her hooves with more shadows.  Luna screamed.

"Stop!"

shade found an info boot and went towards it. she asked the creture running it. "um... whats the deal with the family race and whats with the... blue hart rock?" she asked.

 

(im sorry... but i have no idea what the race should be like.)

villan looked back for a second before entering the mirror... he was shot out of the statue and he looked around fast to find princess celestia... he wanted to yell for her but she didnt want to alert the other celestia...
