     Hey everybody! I'm Jimmy (not really, of course). Uhhh... let's see here... I guess I'll start off with how I came to love the ponies. I first caught wind of the show not long after it began through an acquaintance at school. I just laughed and went on with my life (he's kinda one of "those guys", so I took it pretty in-stride). I first watched it almost exactly a year ago. It was about 7:00 A.M. on a Wednesday and there was nothing else on TV. Since I had heard several of my buddies speak highly of it, I just decided "Ah, screw it!" and flipped it over. Instantly fell in love with it, Watched the series in it's (then) entirety in under a week. I've never really let myself get too "into it" as far as community goes. I don't read the fanfics, listen to the songs (that do not appear in the show), or look at much of the art. I used to try to keep my enjoyment of the show really low key, but as of late, I've grown bolder, doing things like putting a sticker of Vinyl Scratch on my truck. That one sparked a few awkward questions from some of my family members, I tell you what...

     Okay, let's see, other stuff... The only other currently running show I really watch is Doctor Who, I love classic American cars (1963 Lincoln Continental is my favorite), I drive a 1999 Chevrolet S10 with a 4.3 liter V6. I spend most of my free time doing one of three things, watching old TV shows on Netflix, derping around on the internet, or playing Forza Motorsports 4 (I really don't get out much, not much of a people person), the only sport I play is disc golf. I listen to predominantly classic rock, I'm quick with a joke - or to light up your smoke - but there's some place that I'd rather be...

 

     My favorite pony is Rainbow Dash, Applejack is a fairly close second. If I had to pick the one that I'm most like, I would probably have to say Twilight.

 

So yeah, that's about all there is to know about me... I'm looking forward to this experience.

Welcome! Glad you made it, and I just wanna say Dark Side of the Moon is awwwweeeeesome!! Somehow though it only completely blows me away when I listen to it on vinyl. Any other medium and it's demoted to the rank of "One of the best albums of all time". Still mind blowing, but.... it doesn't give me goosebumps. Righto, anyway, welcome welcome!

Yeah, most of it's because I just don't like any of them. I'll try something new every now and again, but I never find anything enjoyable. I find most of the stories... *tries to find a word other than stupid, can't, gives up, hopes he didn't offend anyone*. None of the songs are really my style, and as for art and animation, it's pretty hit or miss.

Nice cars too! I'm currently lucky enough to be driving a dodge charger with a 6.1l hemi. I'm also restoring a 1970 firebird!
