Been doing some reading lately

The Easterlings (the guys you see entering the Black Gate in Two Towers) actually got a handful of mentions in the books: one stating that they use axes and one on how uncharacteristically brave they are for the forces of evil.

And the armor design Weta came up with is just awesome.
