Doctor hooves and derpy spinoff series!

If I had to choose one thing to make a spinoff series from mlp, it would be, THE DOCTOR AND DERPY! I don't know about you, but I would PAY to see a canon spinoff series with them, anypony else feel the same way?

Seems really promising. First few episodes might be a little slow to start off the series but yeah, I'd pay some money to see it. Seems like a really good idea, hope someone important reads this and contacts you soon.

When I read the title, I thought it was an official Derpy and the Doctor spin-off. You should tweak the title a bit.

Honestly I'm not too keen on that premise. The Doctor and Derpy are already a big fanfic cliche that's been done hundreds of times, a spin-off about them would be kinda stupid.

 

Also The Doctor already has his own series, in case you forgot. Watch that if you like him so much.

But as much of a fan of them as I am, a spinoff would be pointless and a bit redundant. There's already a show about the Doctor, and it's awesome. Mostly. When Steve Moffat isn't forcing Matt Smith to be angsty and writing stories that can only be resolved by "restarting time"...

 

Also, while the idea of the Doctor being turned into a cartoon horse but still going around in the TARDIS is funny (and Clockwise Whooves is awesome), I wouldn't think Time Turner would literally be the Tenth Doctor.

 Eh.  Appealing an idea as that initially sounds, realistically it'd never happen.  Don't get me wrong, Derpy and the Doctor are hands down my favorite ship and favorite background ponies, but that ship originated in and belongs in the fandom and fan-canon; Derpy's only had a couple of lines (and we all know how that turned out ) and the Doctor himself has had about just as many, so really there'd be no reason to create a spin-off series of those two.

 

The most likely spin-off series they'd ever create (and I still wouldn't want it, because personally I think the role they play in the show as it is is fine, and a spin-off would quickly get redundant) would be a CMC spin-off series.

We already have Doctor Whooves and Assistant. That's good enough for me. Do we need a spin off? No, not really. It would be nice, but I think we can do without.

Eh, I really don't care for Doctor Who or Doctor Hooves. But I do love Derpy Hooves. I wouldn't pay to see a spin-off of these two characters. However, I would pay for them to put a Derpy Hooves reference in the actual Doctor Who TV show. Would be pretty cool, even though I don't watch that show.

I would also love to see a Princess Luna and Princess Celestia spin-off, or even some sort of mini series, perhaps looking at their past or their childhood. It would be totally awesome, though I have feel that something like this would need Lauren Faust.

 

Also, Octavia and Vinyl Scratch spin-off... yes, hilarities will ensue.
