private The Luna Chronicles

(Ever since she left, nothing has been the same, thanks for trying to start this up again)

Luna and Sombra had been talking for awhile now, and eventually, she convinced him to come up and help, and live with them. Sure it would be hard, and it would take awhile to get used to it, but it was the only choice if they were to have peace in Equestria. They were at the entrance to the castle.

"Look, I know it can be hard, but you can at least give it a try? You might even like it!" Sombra tossed at the idea. "Fine"

(Now I'll be looking for parts for Sombra, and Cadence. I also started a new roleplay "Taking Back" that you should check out here. It's open for now. http://mlpforums.com/topic/63848-taking-back/)

Shinning looked up at Cadence and twitched. "C... Cad...." he shuddered, trying to maintain his composure. "You're... needed...." he huffed and sprawled out on the floor, desperately struggling against the crazy madness that battled for control of his mind. "Bad things... happening." The stallion shook his head, thankful that his magic had been checked. Without that, he had no idea what he would be doing to the ponies he cared about. He had already downed Wick. This had to stop.

Celestia teleported to the front of the castle where Luna and Sombra are, she appeared, surprising both. Celestia has a somewhat angry look on her face. She then glanced towards Luna. "I assume you have a good reason for bringing him back here." She snapped.

"Look sister, he's sorry and he won't do it again. I'm stressed enough as it is. Just give him a chance." Celestia thought about. "You let Discord in, and we all know how you feel about him" They always had spare rooms floating around. Mostly for the ponies that didn't have a home yet and were searching, or for traveling students. However, Luna thought that one of the rooms would have to be a permanent one for Sombra.

"Words cannot heal old wounds, i've learned that better than anypony." Celestia sighed, "Do what you will little sister, but there are no words that can be said to make me think that this is a good idea." Celestia walked off back into the castle, to check on Wick. He was unconscious when she got there. After the events of that day she was very tired, so she decided to have a rest, she removed the glamour and lay down in her bed.

Wick groaned and opened his eyes. He drew in a breath slowly, taking his time to remember his surroundings. He was still in Celestia's chamber, and the idea of occupying space in her room left him feeling more queasy than he wished. He turned his head and saw that the princess had passed out on her bed. It was a side that he was certain few ponies in Equestria had seen, and it left him feeling a swell of empathetic sadness.

"Didn't even have time to pull the blanket up," he muttered quietly. It made him feel even worse. She protected everypony but couldn't even manage to pull the blanket over her flank. Wick inched himself towards the edge of the bed. He was not going to let something so ridiculous stand. He still had two good legs. He'd use them. Carefully, the injured pegasus made his way over to the royal. He propped himself up with whatever he could: nightstand, chair, footboard... until he finally had the edge of her blanket in hoof. He pulled it over the princess and grimaced before slumping down to the floor. "S'all I got..." he grunted with a satisfied smile emerging on his muzzle. "Sleep well, Celestia."

There was something haunting Celestia, it always came to her in a dream, threatening to destroy all that she held close to her, most important of all of them being her sister, though the years since their parents died had shaped Celestia into the mother-figure she now was. She couldn't fix what had happened between her and Luna, but she could try to make up for lost time.

-2 hours later-

Celestia awoke slowly, feelong warmth over her, not at all a familiar feeling, she looked around and saw Wick on the floor.
"Oh goodness." She rushed to her hooves and levitated Wick into the bed instead of her. "You need the rest more than i do." Celestia whispered, walking over to a small bookcase.

"You should be taking care of yourself," Wick replied after he was placed into the bed. The stallion has a look of shock on his face that he was not sure he could disguise. "You didn't even get under the covers, Princess. You look after everypony. It was just my turn to look after you." He stopped and winced. He felt a lot better than he did earlier in the day, but certain wounds were still quite painful.

Celestia's head lowered, the sadness clear even without looking at her face. "I couldn't look after everypony." She was of course referring to trapping Luna on the moon, and forcing Luna to assist her in banishing Sombra to the Arctic north. "I'm no hero Wick, i am undeserving of your admiration." She sighed and gained a happy expression. "I have a kingdom to run, there's no rest for the wicked as they always say."

Wick sighed. "Nopony succeeds all the time, Your Highness. Failure is bound to happen to everypony. It's not the failure that matters; it's what you do afterwards that defines the mark of a good leader. I said it before, and I'll say it again: I trust you and your sister. If I didn't, then I wouldn't be in this bed..." He stopped and huffed lightly. "Which ... admittedly ... feels a little awkward. It's not really... my place to be in here."

((It seems as though no-one else is posting.))

"Right now, you just need to worry about getting better, i'll go check on the situation with Shining Armor." Celestia said before leaving.

-1 hour earlier-

Cadence charged up her love spell, it should work, it had to. Shining Armor's eyes went blank for a bit but afterwards, he seemed fine.

"Hello Sweetie." Cadence said.
