"W-well...something...unusual...I...I'll just say it. Sweetie, I...I...I have a crush on you. I'm attracted to you....I...I don't normally feel this way...I...I like mares...b-but...you're so nice...and cute...I like you a lot...I don't mean to scare you, but...I just thought I should tell you, Sweet Chirp." He looked down at Sweet Chirp, blushing. "S-so...w-what do you think?"

 

Chirp's eyes widened and...even though he knew what Mel was about to say, his heart skipped a beat. He slowly looked up and opened his mouth...but it took a minute for sound to come out. "M-Mel...I...I like..." He stopped as his eyes closed and he fell to the ground, unconscious.

Chirp's eyes widened and...even though he knew what Mel was about to say, his heart skipped a beat. He slowly looked up and opened his mouth...but it took a minute for sound to come out. "M-Mel...I...I like..." He stopped as his eyes closed and he fell to the ground, unconscious.

"Oh, Celestia!" Mel exclaimed, getting down to Chirp. "Sweet Chirp! Sweetie! Are you okay?" When he got no response, he picked up the little stallion, placing him on the couch. He then ran over to Benjamin's place. Maybe he had something to wake him up?

 

"Benny! Benny!" he yelled, knocking on the door. "Sweet Chirp passed out! I need your help!"

Benjamin's eyes fixated on Dusk. 

"Maybe you got too relaxed?" He suggested with a slight chuckle.

"Don't worry it happens to all of us. Do you need anything?" He then heard a knock on his door.

Benjamin noticed that Chirp and Mel were gone and assumed it was them.

He then got up, excusing himself from Dusk, and made his way to the door. He then opened it to see a lifeless Chirp and a distraught Mel.

"Come inside, lay him on the floor and hold his head."

Mel laid Sweet Chirp down. "H-he just passed out! C-can you wake him up? Can you help him? Oh Celestia! This is all my fault! Sweetie!" he stuttered in a massive panic. "Y-you know about scents and herbs and stuff! Please do something!" he exclaimed. He was so worried Why did he have to tell him!?

Benjamin blew gently on Mel.

"Be calmed by the winds of my soul. He will be fine...He just needs to rest up. Actually, can you tell me what you two were doing before he passed out?" He asked.

Benjamin turned around and trotted to a corner of his room. He pulled out a white box and a white bag.

"huh...yeah I...I guess I did" Dusk replied before hearing a knock at the door. Seeing Chirp lay on the floor of the apartment, Dusk didn't really know what to do, so he just sat there and minded his own business for a moment. "Is...is he going to be okay?" he asked with a concerned tone. He could feel that he was starting to get a little more nervous again, for whatever reason.

Mel wrinkled his nose. Whatever Benjamin did calmed him down about, but he was still panicing. He REALLY didn't want to tell Benjamin what exactly they were doing. "Um...we were...we were just...talking...you know...nothing unusual...." he said, nervously. He hoped Benjamin wouldn't make him say it.

Benjamin got a white colored incense stick and lit it. He place the stick near Chirp and place his head on a towel.

"He will be fine, but I really need to know what you were doing. Do not worry, If you were doing that then there is no need to be embarrassed  We are all mature Stallions here." He said as he looked at both stallions.

"Dusk, I need you to get some water from the kitchen. Can you do that for me?"

"I...I told him...I liked him...I...I had a crush on him, and h-he was saying something and..." Mel looked at the unconscious stallion. "He passed out..."

"Oh...i just thought that you were doing the horiz.....never mind." He said as he cleared his throat.

"Judging by his previous actions and the way the bird seemed to be the dominant one I'd say was over-whelmed. Though, I don't know if he has had any previous medical problems. For now, let him rest and let the calming air do its trick." He said referring to the incense stick that was giving off a whiter smoke then most.

"Y-yeah, sure..." Dusk nodded as he shuffled out of his seat, and headed towards the kitchen. He opened a few cupboards, looking around for a suitable container until he found where Ben must keep his glasses. Taking one out and filling it with water, he hurried back and placed it on the table beside the three stallions. "Here, I didn't know what else to put it in, sorry" he said as he sat back down, shuffling his hooves awkwardly.

Chirp was still unconscious...but something was missing...that usual lump on his head was gone.

That's when Chirp started coming too. He groaned and put a hoof to his head. A moment later he realized where he was...and what had happened. The blush that had faded when he fainted returned and he went back to rubbing his hooves together nervously. "Wh-What happened?"

"Sure I'd love to hang out for a while. I was busy setteling in so I haven't a clue what everypony else is up to. Also sorry I ran off on you earlier i'm unsure of what came over me back there." Auburn rubbed the back of his head with his hoof he hoped Stratos didn't notice the light blush plastered on his face.

Mel remained silent for a minute. "Sweetie, I'm sorry if I shocked you. I never meant to ever hurt you...I...I should never have...I should never have told you that." Mel moved in and hugged Sweet Chirp warmly. "I promise never to bug you about that again, if it makes you so upset."

Chirp hugged Mel back...rather tightly. His mind was full of different kinds of emotions...but the only words that managed to come from his mouth were. "I like you too." He said, in his usual barely audible voice.

His heart skipped a beat and he quickly let go of Mel. "I mean...only if...I just...if you like...Me...back...."

"Well this was a nice ending. Guess i dont need to splash your face with water. Actually, drink this water. you might need it after your ordeal." He said as he hoofed Chirp the water."Dont do any heavy lifting for a while." He added

This was...very surprising to Chirp...he had never done anything like this before...ever. His eyes widened and he...just kinda stood there. As awkward as it was, he had to admit...it was quite nice.

Sunny...got even more angry and poked Mel as hard as she could with her beak
