"Well, what is it?" Thunder Dash asked as he came closer. He was very good at keeping secrets and never broke promises in terms of keeping secrets. He wondered what it could be. His changeling moved around a bit and fell back to sleep. Dashie was sound asleep.

Sparkshower took the hint and went for a walk outside. She walked around the huge cloud complex looking at the stars and fiddling her feather necklace.. She stopped and gazed at the moon. "Mom, Dad, wherever you are I hope I've made you proud." She sat there for a while staring at the moon and praying

Aurora sighed and closed his eyes "...when I was younger...my mother...she..."he has tears welling his eyes and his voice was wavering and shakey "...she...she id things to me...that a mother shouldnt do to a colt...a-as in...t-touch...me..."he says quietly as tears streak down his cheeks and face.

Thunder Dash felt heartbroken. It wasn't fair that Aurora had to go through this. It had passed but it scarred him for life. He then rubbed a tear off of Aurora's cheek. "Aurora, let me tell you something that I once heard Princess Celestia say. "Overcoming your past leads to a brighter future. I know it's very hard to have abusive parents. I've even one time had to defend a little earth pony from it's vicious father, who had extreme hatred in his heart. Ponies come from everywhere. Your mother, probably had abusive parents and because of that, she probably took out her anger on you. Sadly, this is what happens when abusive parents are put into the picture and it results in just a line of abuse, grudges and sometimes...death. But life doesn't always have to be like that. It's just that your mother didn't see how special you are, how unique you are. I mean, a pegasus with the ability to change it's eye color that defines a specific trait? Pft, that's extraordinary, and that's what you are, in my eyes." Thunder Dash said hugging Aurora.

Sparkshower began to ponder whether or not she should head back. Something told her there was more to Aurora's tragic backstory than what he'd told her, but she wouldn't push him... he would tell her on his own time. She walked back towards the complex and as she did she had a strange feeling that someone was watching her.

Aurora sighed softly and hugged hum back, he blushed lightly at Thunders very kind words, was he really THAT special to him and Spark? He sighed softly as he hugged back and he wipped hid face "my mother had great parents...but my father died...she blamed me...hated me..." he says softly and quietly, looking at Dashie.

"You didn't do it. I know you didn't do it. You're so innocent, yet your mother just didn't understand and I honestly hate ponies who are like that. They assume things way too fast and scar people for life. It reminds me of what happened in the Royal Wedding a few years ago." Thunder Dash said still hugging Aurora.

Aurora sighed and closed his eyed again "I...I..." he stammers and starts crying into Thunder's shoulder as quietly as he could, still making quite a bit of racket though, he was so tired of the memories and nightmares...he wanted them to all end...if deatg is what it takes...

Thunder Dash suddenly remembered a spell that erased all bad memories away. He could only use it every 24 hours, for it took quite a bit of energy from him. Yet he struggled a bit to remember the rhyme associated with it. He had read it in one of Twilight Sparkle's books. "Death is not always the answer." Thunder Dash said. He then looked up. Suddenly it came to him. He then recited the rhyme.

 

"Pain and suffering go away

This is not your place to stay

Away with it all, peace shall reign". 

 

Suddenly a light consumed the entire room. When all was said and done...@,

Aurora dtared at tye blank wall across from him, he still has his terriblr memories, but he lied ssying "I...don't remember..." he sayd with a smiled and hugged Thunder tight, he smiled as if he had truly forgotten his memories...but he didn't...he jusy hoped he didn't have anymore nightmares....

Sparkshower reacrhedc the barrack. Still pjondering over a spell that could stop nigh mares unfortunatly she could remember none. But she could remember a lukllaby that was meant do much of the same thing. It would hav3 to do fo tonigt. She knocked on the door " is it alright if i come in?"

Aurora nodded "come in."he says with a smile and sits on the bed,softly petting his changeling as she purrs softly in her sleep. He had a big day tomorrow...presenting new evidence to the Princesses and the council...having to speak with Luna again,and then maybe even speeking with Queen Crysalis...

Sparkshower came in and sat down beside aurora. "Do you mind if I come with you tomorrow. I might be able to help in winning Cadence and Celestia over." she asked. "I mean because they know me and so they might have an easier time believing it." she wondered briefly if Cadence could be won over.

"What do you mean by won over?" Thunder Dash asked curiously.  He had heard of the expression before but was wondering how they could be won over. He pondered on this for a while. Suddenly, one of his changelings crawled on top of him and fell back to sleep.

Aurora nodded and smiled "yeah...that would be fine."he says and softly pets his changeling "I just hope..."he says and ends his thought with a shake of his head "...never mind."he says and lays back down,yawning and stretching hard,he was tired...he wanted to sleep...but...the nightmares...

Sparkshower sighed "I mean as in convince them that the changelings can become good." she looked at Aurora "Do you mind if I try something? It's a lullaby my mom used to sing to me and when she sang it I didn't have nightmares the whole night I'm wondering If it would work on you."

Aurora blinked and shrugged "sure,go ahead."he smiles,wanting to hear her seeing extremely badly,he loved when ponies sang,and he loved to sing too...just don't ask him to do it infront of many ponies,or he would choke,but if he is alone and he feels comfortable enough,he will sing.

Sparkshower closed her eyes and held aurora head in her lap, recalling the lyrics. She opened her mouth and sang softly.

 

"Rowboat take me far away, rowboat take me where there's no pain,

Rowboat take me down the stream , to a place I go only in dreams

Rowboat take me where there's softer rain

Rowboat take somewhere I can fin find peace

Aurora yawned and slowly fell asleep,he liked that lullaby,he yawned once more and softly snuggled his face into her pelvice and belly,curling up and falling in a deep sleep...he...had...more...dreams...evil ones...the lullaby didnt work...or so it seemed...he couldnt remember the dreams exactally,but he knew they were bad,and they scared him to death....

"You gonna be alright?" Thunder Dash asked. He was concerned for Aurora, that the nightmares might still persist, even though he had perform the spell that erased the bad thoughts form Aurora's mind. He then cuddled with his changelings and fell asleep. He slept a little closer to Aurora, just in case.

Aurora woke in the morning with a long,drawn out yawn and stretch,he slept better than he did the past nights, he smiled and slowly got out of bed,smelling the cool morning air as he took in a big breath,smiling wide,his changeling then shot up and ran to hug him,he hugged her back and smiled.

Sparkshower groaned and turned over in her sleep. Slowly she woke up. she went to the bathroom and got ready. Once she was out sher smiled and said "It's the big day, today we can change the world," She was certain they could pull it off. Cadence would most likely be the hardest to convince but Sparks was sure they could do it.

Aurora smiled and nodded,then he hugged Spark tight and he whispered softly in her ear "...another kiss...for good luck?"He asked quiety with a blush on his cheeks,waiting for her to reply. The changeling smiled and squeeked with joy,flapping her wings.

Sparkshower, blushed an laughed softly. " of crourse isn' t it kind of a tradition? " she hugged him tighter and drew back, trying to get a better angle. She leaned in and sofftly presed her lips to his. There it wasc again the rush that she had felt the first time.

Aurora blushed and he too felt that rush come over him and he smiled as he closed his eyes and kissed back softly and deeply,he...did love her...he just...hasent the guts to say it yet... The changeling was watching curiously though this all thinking to herself 'what are they doing? Pressing their lips together?' She pondered.
