"ooh low blow"Darkshift rubbed his nuts before regaining his balance "You're acting uncivil because you are an uncivil creature!"Darkshift bashed the zompony "And just because I don't approve doesn't mean I'm jealous"Darkshift flung his fist straight at the zompony "I don't approve because when two different races are in love it's vile!"

Epic flew up in between the werepony and the zompony. "THAT'S ENOUGH! NOW STOP IT! BOTH OF YOU! RENEGADE, I KNOW YOU'RE JUST TRYING TO DEFEND OUR RELATIONSHIP, BUT YOU DON'T HAVE TO START A FIGHT. VIOLENCE IS NEVER THE ANSWER! AND DARKSHIFT, YOU BETTER GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER BEFORE I DRAIN YOU OF BLOOD!! NOW STOP FIGHTING!!!!!!" Epic's screaming echoed and made birds fly out of the trees into the night sky.

"awww shucks, it was just getting interesting" repsol said, giving the two fighting ponies a little grin.

"i guess we're all back on our senses again?"repsol stood up, and faced the last few yards towards the castle.

"now if you don't mind, i'd like to actually get in there before the night falls."

with that he walked throug the castle's doors

"Oh, crap..." Renegade said. He'd never seen a mare scream like that before. "OK, who votes on 'Monstopia? All in favor say 'Aye'." Renegade said calmly. He was acting more civil now. He looked at Epic rainbow reassuringly. "All n opposition say 'Nay'." Renegade looked at the group and waited for their answers. He would give them as much time as they needed. (Epic, mind responding in ROLEPLAY.MOV?)

Spidey rolled his eyes at the thought of a 'civilization'. Living in the Everfree forest. How typical ... He watched as the scene played out before him- and he agreed with Darkshift. It was unrealistic, and just, well, too degrading for a monster to do. If you're a monster, shouldn't you act like one? Dr. Grayburn didn't answer that question; all he knew was that he'd rather live alone, or with fellow wereponies as himself. The colt didn't want to be governed by two love-struck ponies who thought all rainbows (thus, Epic Rainbow) and love were gonna come from making "The Family". It would really just be a pack of monsters, rejected from society. And the Royal Guard wouldn't take that lightly.

 

He kept out of the fight, frowning. Ponies got too defensive sometimes, tryin' to act tough. It particularly annoyed him that Renegade was quick to accuse. Jealous? Yeah, right... 

 

"Nay," the werepony left the tree, "I've gotta agree with Darkshift- we're monsters and building a 'civilization' could provoke a war between monsters and ponies eventually. And how many monsters are there? Not many. So, I am proud of being a monster, because I can't change it. I probably won't be terrorizing Equestria, but I already lost my family, and makin' a new one isn't gonna be the same as the old one...." Spidey's ears twitched nervously, casting a glance at Darkshift before looking at the others' input.

"You never know," "There could be other monsters out there." Renegade told the colt. "We'll be accepted by society if we create a coexisting civilization. Give it a chance, and I will show you, that if we have a strong civilization with a stable monarchy, we can be prosperous." Renegade looked at the wereponies hopefully.

Darkshift placed his hoof against his face and thought for a moment "A monarchy,where you and bloodsucker rule as king and queen"Darkshift pointed straight at Renegade"I am not living under you two's rule"Darkshift growled."You need to think things through before you go calling the shots"

"I am thinking things through. This monarchy will also give people a fraction of the power." Renegade replied. "And don't EVER call my future queen a bloodsucker. That is deraugotory and insulting. Do you understand, dog-breath?" he asked Darkshift. Renegade glared angrily at the werepony.

"Since when was you king?'Darkshift furiously replied stomping his hoof down onto the ground."What gives a zompony.The most useless creature in the business the right to become king?"Darkshift loudly asked.He was extremely tempted to throw a punch at the zompony until he realised that there was ust no point.

Renegade just cried. He just sat there and cried. He had been called useless, which hurt. Like a knife. "Why would you say something about me like that? That hurt. I just wanna be left alone right now." he said before running off deep into the Everfree. A deep moaning sound couldbe heard deep in the forest.

"Drama queen"Darkshift muttered watching the zompony gallop away."He deserved it"Darkshift told himself however he did feel a bit guilty but decided not to act on the guilt.Darkshift attempted to relax his muscles for a few moments after the thrilling events.

Epic watched Renegade run away crying. "No, he didn't deserve it! You're just a jackass!!" Epic punched Darkshift in the face with her vampony super strength. "You deserved that." She walked off to find Renegade and comfort her boyfriend whom she loves so much.

Darkshift felt the sheer force of the vamponies punch and felt the pain with it."What did I do wrong?"He asked himself whilst in severe pain."He gives and gives but he just can't take"Darkshift commented trying to relieve himself of guilt.Darkshift realised he finally had peace without the romantic couple.

Dr. Grayburn flinched. 'Dog-breath'. 'Useless.' He knew Renegrade and Darkshift would probably never get along with each other. He had tried to intervene, but the argument was too quick. The young colt frowned at his fellow werepony and then at the direction they left. Although he didn't agree with the two, Renegrade didn't deserve being called 'useless', and Darkshift equally deserved a say in "The Family".

 

With nothing to do, he trotted towards Darkshift to try to redeemn his reputation in the group. Perhaps they would find some agreement if they'd just had help.

 

"Hey, Darkshift. How're you doin'?" the pony greeted, offering an ear to listen. "I know you don't agree with them, with their "monarchy"," Spidey rolled his eyes, "And I don't either. Maybe we could compromise, try to... yah' know, forgive each other..."

(There are gonna be a lot of Hunchback of Notre Dame references in my following posts.)

Renegade had run away to Canterlot and hid in the bell tower of a church. This was not just any church, however. It was the famous Notre Dame de Canterlot, built by the royal sisters over 1,000 years ago. The zompony's moan-like cries could be heard from deep within the bell tower.

Darkshift noticed his fellow werepony coming to him and starting a conversation."Hey spidey"Darkshift greeted "Compromise?"Darkshift asked "I am always willing to compromise,it's just when he instantly believes he is superior to us,that's when I get angry"The werepony stated,rustling his fair.

Spidey flipped the long, grass-like fur out of his eyes, back bebind his doctor scope. He avoided eye contact, unsure which side he as on. He realized he didn't have to pick a side- he could just be on his own or become the peacemaker. The colt had fresh ideas for whatever this "band of monsters" needed, and Darkshift probably had ideas of rebellion, or something along those lines. Dr. Grayburn raised an eyebrow, observing Darkshift.

 

"'Superior', eh? Do you want no one superior over you, or any other monster, for that matter? Is rebellion against the ponies' cruel shunning of monsters what you want?" He beckoned, his hoof tapping his chin in speculation.

Darkshift answered Spidey's questions "It's not that no one should be superior but it should be someone who earns the right to be superior"Darkshift calmly relucted "Rebellion,us being in Equestria is rebellious enough accordingv to them,but I would like a chance for vengeance"

The werepony nodded, murmuring an agreement on vengance. But looking for trouble never was a good idea. He glanced at the woods, wondering what Epic and Renegrade were doing. Perhaps they'd come to their senses. Spidey wondered if he should go try helping them with whatever they were doing.

Epic used her vampony sense of smell to track Renegade down. She flew all the way to the bell tower of Notre Dame de Canterlot. She spotted Renegade sitting in a corner and flew over, sitting down next to him and hugging him. "Shhh, it's okay," she whispered, trying to comfort him.

"No, it isn't. Don't you see? I am the most useless creature ever.Didn't you hear Darkshift?" he asked her through tears. "I'm unworthy of everypony, and you know it." Renegade didn't know why, but he began to sing.

 

"So many times out here

I've watched a pair of happy lovers

Walking in the night

They have a kind of glow around them.

It almost looked like heaven's light

 

I knew I'd never know

That warm and loving glow

Though I wish with all my might

No face as hideous as mine

Was ever meant for heaven's light.

 

But suddenly an angel has smiled at me

And kissed my cheek without a trace of fright

 

I dare to dream that she

Might even care for me

And as IN ring these bells tonight

My cild dark tower seems so bright

I swear it must be heaven's light."

 

Renegade rung the bells.

Epic sighed and said, "Renegade, you're anything but useless. You're my boyfriend. Darkshift is the useless one!" She tried comforting him by kissing him and snuggling up to him. "I love you," she murmured. Epic stayed with Renegade in the bell tower all night. She woke up and she was in Renegade's arms. She lay back down and cuddled with him.

Renegade woke up to find himself being cuddled by Epic Rainbow. He enjoyed every single moment of it. EVERY. SINGLE. MOMENT. As he saw the first rays of the morning sun rise over the horizon, he nudged her with his nose. "We better get out of here." he whispered to her.

Epic smiled and said, "Okay." She then grabbed Renegade and flew out of the bell tower and back to the Everfree Forest. She found where everypony else was. She landed and greeted everypony warmly except Darkshift.

 

ooc: today at camp i made a necklace with my name on it and it has a rainbow string-thingie   its so cute!! xD
