"We will treat you like you treat us." He said, guiding her to the cell, which he know unlocked. The cops pushed her in, not even unlocking the cuffs. They all glared at her, and the chief finally said something.

"I'll be honest i never thought that the spades resorted to recruiting stupid mares." He chuckled, and the cops joined in, locking the cell.

"Tell us." He said, solemnly. "The more you tell us about the gang, the less time you will be serving."

"You'll treat me like i treat you? I did not jump on you and hold a gun to you" She rolled her eyes. Neon hit the floor and she let out a little grunt of pain. She was able to get up and look at the chief as he talked to her "Stupid mare?!" She said madly "I got information easily out of one of those cops, i wouldn't call that stupid!" She looked away "No, i'm not telling you anything"

((You do realize I was kind of waiting on you to tell me whether or not I found anything, right? Because I'd feel like I was godmodding if I just made something up.))

 

Rush continued searching the desk, as well as the filing cabinets and whatever else he could find for any information they could use.

"No, but you did smack my face." He chuckled. "And that cop is gone, trust me." He paced in front of the cell.

"And we can get info out of you, one way or another." He said ominously. He reached to the side to take out a police baton. He quickly opened the door and closed it behind him.

(Sorry, I've been a bit distracted.)

 

In the desk, there was little to indicate cheating, but there seemed to be files that indicated random deposits into the mayors accounts, and random outgoings from the city funds.

I spit a cigarette butt from my mouth *piff* I have a relaxed look on my face "I gotta have something to do..." I look at Royals office, "maybe lata' " I sigh and look at the floor(

((Sorry guys I've been a bit busy, so I'll just give myself a little timeskip))

 

Anarchy had been making important files blank, turned them into random objects that would be found in an office, like paperclips and pencils. He even sent a couple to Royal in case they were important to the Spades. He stopped when he heard a familiar voice. Neon. He teleported back into his office and then walked outside. He walked over to where the police stallions were.

@@MyLittleCell, "Oh hey guys, you got a new one here?" He knew that Neon was here and when he saw her, and she saw him, he made a face that screamed, you're not supposed to know me.

((It's fine. I just wanted to make it clear that Rush had a good reason for not doing anything while his partner is getting beaten up. Of course, he doesn't know that anyway, but still.)) 

 

Rush studied the files for a minute. He was no accountant, but this looked like pretty solid evidence that he was stealing from the city treasury. That was good enough for him. He quickly put everything- except the evidence, that is- back where it was and exited the office. He didn't see Neon outside anywhere, though, and that wasn't a good sign. He'd have to go find her, but right now it was more important that he got this evidence to Royal. He quickly headed back to the hideout, entered Royal's office, and put the files on his desk. "There. He's been skimming money from city funds. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go find Neon. She wasn't outside like she was supposed to be."

Royal frowned. "I should've figured he was corrupt." Then when he mentioned neon, he paused for a second  "Neon? Why wasn't she where she was supposed to be?" He could think of a million reasons but he pushed them out of his head. 

"I don't want my members being gone. Find her, and quickly."

"Oh, i think you will." The officer reached down and grabbed her head, turning it to face him. 

"Make this easy. We already know royal's dieing, we want something new."

"Of course. I just hope she's okay. She may not like me very much, but I can't stand to see any of my fellow Spades get hurt." WIthout saying anything else, or awaiting any further instructions, Rush left. The only reason he could think of that she wouldn't be there is that the plan had gone south. And if that was the case, she had most likely gotten arrested. As much as he hoped he was wrong, he knew the first place he had to look was the police station.

 

He arrived at the police station and walked up to one of the officers out front. "Excuse me, I was told my sister was arrested for something. I didn't quite catch the details, naturally being in a panic at hearing such news, but I was told she was being held here."

The police officer glared at him. "We don't have many ponies in the cells, and i don't remember seeing any mares be arrested." He sighed, then waved a hoof at him.

"Come on in." He guided him into the office, and he turned to another cop.

"Hey, we got any mares arrested recently?"

He nodded, and waved his hoof in the general direction of the cells.

The officer looked back and saw that they were looking for a talk. He turned to neon. 

"Later." He walked out of the cell, nodding to Rush. "Ya got five minutes."

After the cops had dispersed, Anarchy went up to Neon. "Hey there. I'm teleporting you out of here." He looked around to make sure nopony was there, and his horn glowed blue and Neon disappeared. Anarchy then walked back to his office. When he was inside, and the door was closed he sighed. "Well I hope she made it to the base." The unicorn chuckled to himself. Of course she did.

I walk into Royals office (after knocking) and say to him "hey Royal i have a question" I lick my lips "do I have any missions to do for you today?" I sit in front of his desk (Royals in his office right? If not ill edit this post)

"Wait mate!" Jack yelled bolting towards Pelate. Once he caught up to him Jack gave him his revolver. "Sorry mate, I pick-pocketed it from ya jus' ta practice on'ya!" Jack blushed "I didn't do anythin' to it." "Sorry again. Hope ya could forgive me.If not that's fine." Jack turned and walked away.

Rush nodded to the officer respectfully. "Thank you officer. I really appreciate it. She may have a tendency to get into trouble sometimes, but she's still my sister, you know?"

As soon as he was out of earshot Rush turned to Neon. "What happened? How did you end up in here?"

Neon looked at the cop when he had turned her head. She took a deep breath "I wont tell you anything" she closed her eyes tight and got ready for the pain 'Common Spades! Bout time you come rescue me..' She thought. That's when she opened her eyes and saw Rush. When the cops left them alone and couldn't hear them they talked "That bucking stupid old drunk cop was there...Yea, he sorta knew me from when i got info out of him...Anyways, now that we caught up get me out of here!"

Rush shook his head. He hated cops. "The cop recognized you? And that's all it took to get you arrested? What, did you tell the cop you were working for the Spades? Otherwise, I don't see how they really have any case against you. Did they say what you were guilty of?"

Neon sighed "No, i didn't tell them...well...not really, i guess i could of said some things that sorta made it seem like i was part of the Spades...They said i was guilty of gang participation and cop manipulation or whatever" She rolled her eyes "Alright, could you just try to get these cuffs off or something?"

Rush shook his head. "I could, but if I break you out, that's hardly a long-term solution. They no your face now, so it's only a matter of time until they find you again. I think we can beat them at their own game. They don't have any solid evidence against you, and now we should be able to get the mayor on our side as well. I think we can get you out of here without even breaking the law."

 Neon sighed "I...i guess you're right" She thought about it "Get out of here without breaking the law? Seems pretty boring but i guess it would be best" She looked around "But when? i want to get out of this horrible place now!" Neon said. She was mad at the drunk cop who had gotten her arrested

"I don't know. Hopefully we'll be walking out of here together pretty soon, but with the cops, who knows? If we had someone who could deliver a message to Royal, he'd probably have you out in a flash, but I don't want to leave you here alone. I didn't quite like the look of what that cop was about to do to you before he noticed me. I'm not the best lawyer, but I can try to convince the cops that the don't have a case, in which case they'll have to let you go. Just follow my lead, okay? I'm your brother, and I'm naturally concerned for my little sister, who seems to have been arrested under false pretenses. I've studied a little law, and our family doesn't have money to hire a proper lawyer, so I'm going to help you represent yourself."

The cop was about to try to get information out of me but i could probably convince him i don't know anything" She stopped talking to listen to Rush "Alright, i'm your sister. Now whats the plan so far?"

"The police can only hold someone for a day without charging them for anything. All we have to do, is convince them that they don't have enough evidence to charge you for anything, and they'll have to let you go. Ideally you'll be out in less than a day, but I can't be sure. If you're certain you'll be okay here, I'll go get Royal. Just, stick to the story, okay? You can't give them anything to work with."

 

 

Rush walked over towards the cell door. "You sure you'll be alright if I leave you here?"

"Alright, your times up" The cop said, opening the cell. He pushed past rush. 

"You should go now," He said, turning to neon. "We have some questioning to do."

 

Meanwhile......

 

Royal sat in his office, looking over his meds.

"I didn't think i'd ever be living of these." He said, opening the bottle to take a dose.
