Hello thar forum goer!

 

Well, I've been doing an awful lot of pony sketching lately, and I would like some feedback on some of the recent sketches that I've done. So sketchy.

So what do you all think? What can I improve on?

They are all gorgeous. I am Jelly. Really wish I could draw. My favorites were the responses. Very nice, and they seemed realistic.

i love the vinyl scratch one, i've always been a sucker for wet mane pony's. also dat reactions! they seemed very realistic to compared to the question asked. very nice job sir!

Oh, sorry, don't take this as an insult, but... In the third sketch, Rainbow Dash's tail is somewhat... Misplaced.

 

Anyways, pretty nice sketches you have  there, though I'd advise you to observe to more pony anatomy, and a little closely. It might bring you some improvements! x3

Why thank you! I wanted to get a better feel for drawing him in more than a simple standing smile pose, so I had someone give me random statements or questions that would be suitable for him to give certain reactions to and then I drew them! Heh.

I rather enjoy that one as well; it has a very clean feel to me. And thank you! I tried to put myself in his shoe- er hooves. xD

See, it's like that in the Vector, so I just copied it as best I could, though I admit there are mistakes. Haha

 

Otherwise, thank you for the compliment and I have my drawings slightly styled, so the anatomy will be bound to be different... but yes, I will be sure to keep practicing and learning! Thank you!

They're really good!

 

But, if you want more show-accurate drawings, change the hooves a bit.  They have to be a bit thinner near the top, and thicker at the bottom. You know what I mean?

Oh, I noticed that. Thanks though! I tend to draw the hooves more linear looking, as a habit... but I may try that idea, to regain the show accuracy in my style.

 

Oh, and thanks for the compliment as well! More sketches will be on the way! I post them all and more to my tumblr.

I really like these sketches.

 

The one thing I think you could improve on is RD's wings. They don't look quite right.

 

But good job on the rest, though. The responses were my favorite.

Thank you for the compliment... I really tried with these, heh... and thank you for the advice as well. I will definitely look into that idea next time!
