"kid... come on hes gone... Is blue your favorite color or Red?, come on kid, we'll bury him later, now... we must deal with this thing"

Blue walked towards the bandit and watched her try to crawl away

"don't even try, here's an example of what I do to bandits when I'm really pissed off"  Blue made his vines dig out a suffocating bandit, the bandit gasped for air, as the bandit gasped for air and coughed up blood Blue nailed a rod right into the bandit's gasping mouth and through the skull.

"Johnny, why must you stay so calm and reasonable? don't you ever want revenge?" Blue trotted towards the mare and froze her broken hoof to the ground "this will be fun" Blue readied his icepick

The bandit closed her eyes and started breathing heavily.

"I... I-I hope you all freeze to death..." She muttered. She then looked at her dead friend, sure enough that she was going to look like that in some time.

She tried to move her broken hoof slightly, but it was still frozen.

"I ain't telling you anything." She said.

"yes you will, trust me, you will" his horn lit up and he began electrifying her, the bandit mare felt unbelievable pain coursing through her body, Johnny stopped the electricity "now, where is your base located? please answer or ill electrocute you again and i have no idea what this pony will do"

Blue made his vines bury the mare half way so her head stuck out of the ground

"So I guess you want your turn? sorry Johnny for taking your fun away" Blue pulled the rod out of the bandit's head and readied to ram it into the mares head, "you sure you don't want to start talking?" Blue came up with another idea, he dropped the rod and placed his rifle in front of the mare's head "say: ahhh" Blue opened the mares mouth with his icepick and stick the rifle's barrel in

"this is going to be messy...."

The mare screamed as the pain flowed through her body.

"I... won't... tell you shit..."

She closed her eyes, when Swig put a gun in he mouth.

"You have no fucking soul... you can kill an innocent foal and you wouldn't feel guilty... I didn't want to join the bandits... I was forced to."

Tears rolled down her eyes.

"You have no idea..."

"give me a reason to not shoot you, I have enough time to listen to a long story so go ahead, wheres your base?"

Blue tied the mare's front hooves behind her back (like handcuffs)

She gulped, sure that Jonny would electrify her again.

 

----MEANWHILE AT THE BANDIT HIDEOUT----

 

"God damnit! We're down to four ponies... and they have one of us. She'll tell our location for sure..."

"Spy on them, let me know if she told them anything or not."

Johnny sighed "i wont kill you if you spill the beans, youll just be my prisoner until weve dealth with the bandits, now ill give you one more chance before i pump more electricity through you "where is their base, and a personal question, do the bandits have any activity in the University around here?"

" C'mon, damn it!" Cleo slapped her, hard. " You said you were forced to join them, right? So you must not fucking like them! Tell us where they are so we can blow their brains out!" She yelled, eyes blazing.

"we better interrogate her somewhere else... I still smell bandit... smells like BO and shit" 

Blue packed his gear and looked around "we shouldn't be out here any longer, Lyona keep an eye out for a place to call home for today"

Blue smelt more BO and shit "we didn't kill all of them, if we did, I shouldn't be smelling any more BO and Shit"

Lyona nodded. -I don't like the way he's ordering everypony around, but he's right. We need to find a place to sleep tonight.- She looked around them, considering one of the homes. She then shook her head. - Too close.-

"Later... right now, we need to get back into the ballgame."

picked up his rifle and loaded it "I'm hungry now, if anypony else is hungry I'm making stew... its going to be improvised of course"

Blue walked towards a nearby house and picked up a bandit's helmet on the way. "this will be out pot... improvisation is a must" Blue went inside the house and into the backyard and started a small fire and hung the pot over the fire.

" Yes, especially to ponies who've killed someone I know." She rolled her eyes at the next part of his sentence. -He sure is sarcastic.-

Lyona approached the group. " I could go check it out, if there is somepony there I'll fly out quickly." She offered.

Blue heated up the helmet and a small amount of blood on it sizzled off

"I hope everypony else wont mind a bit of blood in their meal" Blue levitated some snow into the helmet and it melted into water and opened his bag "lets see.... 3 cans of food left... Carrots, Tomato and Spinach.... meh... use all of them" Blue opened all the cans and dumped the contents into the helmet of boiling water and mixed the .... stew around. "Smells... good... unlike the BO and shit I had to go though before" Blue chuckled and the stew was set, Blue made his way through the house and met back with the group "SOUPS ON EVERYPONY!"

Cleo narrowed her eyes. " I doubt that."

The mare looked at Cleo.

"See for yourself. The University is heavily guarded. But not by their guys... I guess the University is another gangs hideout or something."

Acid spoke up.

"Doesn't anypony care, that one of us is dead!? She's fucking right... none of you have a soul..."

Cleo threw her hooves up in frustration. " Then why did you say that they were at the freaking university? You can't even give me a straight answer!"

She turned to Acid, gritting her teeth. " Once you've been in the wastelands long enough, you lose everything. Including your soul. Now, shut the fuck up."

Blue came out of the house happy that he managed to cook right for once and saw Acid upset

"The kids right, he buried somepony else the other day, he deserves a burial too" 

Blue glanced at Cleo and disappointingly looked back at Acid "I reckon Red was one of the only ponies that had a soul, come on kid, lets give our respect and condolences to him"

Cleo snorted, and walked off. In her mind came an image of Red's dead body.

 

-For what it's worth, I didn't want you to die.- 

 

She shook her head and approached the house where Blue had made the soup. She made a face when she looked at it, and instead munched on some bread from her bag.

She turned to Acid, gritting her teeth. " Once you've been in the wastelands long enough, you lose everything. Including your soul. Now, shut the fuck up."

 

"You shut the fuck up! I seriously hope that when you go to that university, you get your brains pulled out of your ass! That would make you shut up for a while!"

Acid took his weapons and saddlebags.

"I bet that bandit over there actually cared about those who were around her! Here, if somepony dies, it's like eating: it's everyday business! Well you know what Cleo!? If you would get hit by a train, I wouldn't care about you at all! I would leave you to die there, and I hope this all happens!"

Cleo pretended to be falling asleep during his yelling at her. After he had finished his speech, she blinked blearily.

 

" Are you done with your little temper tantrum? I kinda have more important stuff to do than listen to a little colt make promises that he can't keep. Okay? Bye." 

 

Cleo stood up. She brushed the snow of her coat and walked off.

Blue picked up Red's body and started walking north east, "Acid, was it a burial you wanted" Blue felt personally responsible for Acid, mainly because Red was the only pony he managed to get along with... and the names ... Blue and Red. Blue went back to the alley where Red's limb was blown off and picked up his decaying severed limb "I want a full burial for him"

"You know what? I don't even care anymore."

Acid walked off as well.

"I'll just let them be happy... Red's dead and one of us is going. Oh jolly..."

He walked inside a building, that still had some supplies in it.

"I'll just camp here..." Acid took out his foodstuffs and placed some of them in a box.

"Tomorrow, I'll look for fire materials... they don't have any supplies back at the train... I hope they're happy back there..."

He frowned.

"No! I hope they all freeze!"

Acid started eating some bread, he had while thinking of what to do with this place.

After Cleo had left, Iris stepped into the remains of Manehattan very carefully. She didn't want to be seen. She saw a light nearby and avoided it as much as possible. She heard Cleo's voice along with another pony, and was afraid to intervene. In the shadows, she watched Cleo run off and ran, mistakingly making a few noises here and there. Iris hoped that she hadn't heard them.
